We honestly thought it was just a coffee shop, but it turned out to be the perfect place for a light meal and a relaxing break. The shop has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere with unique décor featuring photos of the local community and its history, which gave it a lot of character. There are several seating options, including high-top tables for two, lower tables with four chairs, and bar seating. The menu offers much more than coffee--they also serve sandwiches, ice cream, and other drinks. We ordered the Southwest Chicken Quesadilla, which came with a side of salsa, and it was absolutely delicious. To drink, we had the Raspberry Cream Soda and the Detox Water with strawberries, lemons, blueberries, and cucumbers. Both were refreshing, and the detox water was especially good. The background music was just right--not too loud, making it easy to enjoy a conversation. The shop was spotless, and the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The ladies behind the counter were welcoming, and the gentleman who prepared our food did an outstanding job. This was the perfect way to wrap up our visit to the area. We left with full bellies, great conversation, and a wonderful last stop before hitting the road. If you're passing through Winslow and want a coffee, a light bite, or even some ice cream, I highly recommend stopping by. Five stars all the way!

They are huge and delicious and you can get them smothered with cheese or bacon or whatever. They also have breakfast items, crepes, salads, sandwiches, ice cream, and some pretty fancy coffee drinks. Now about those hot dogs: We tried the Take It Easy dog (ketchup, mustard, diced onions) and the Kansas dog (bacon, cheese, and BBQ sauce). The Take It Easy may have standard toppings but the dog and bun are excellent. The Kansas dog was supreme. The dog, bun, and the toppings were fantastic. I don't know why the little town of Winslow has such good hot dogs but it just shows you never know what you may find.

I was pleasantly surprised and impressed by everything from the gorgeous hotel and welcoming staff to the delicious food. I mean seriously... everything was so good! Our service was excellent. We ordered quite a bit of food and our server timed everything perfectly so no meals overlapped, giving us time to digest and enjoy our drinks between courses. A majority of their menu includes nuts, and I have a tree nut allergy. I was able to alter my orders a bit to accommodate my allergy but the level of care the staff provided to put my mind at ease, without me asking mind you, was truly what I would consider above and beyond service. My server made sure what I ordered was safe for me to eat by personally checking food labels as well as speaking with the head chef and then the manager came out to confirm that my orders were nut free AND the staff would be changing gloves to avoid any cross contamination. I mean, wow! After we finished eating, we went to the gift shop (which is a must visit!) and explored the hotel and got to see some truly unique and deeply thoughtful pieces of art by the incredibly talented, Tina Mion. The shop is warm, inviting, and offers plenty of seating. They have a roastery onsite and roast their own coffee. From the cake tasting to the big day, you can see the love and pride this family has in their business. We ordered cupcakes for our guests, and they were a huge hit! They were so delicious that my wife and I didn't get to taste every flavor--we actually ran out by the end of the night. All of our friends and family loved that they could choose their own cupcake flavors. Maureen also helped us decorate our dessert table, which made everything so much easier for us!
