    Strawberry Milkshake

Strawberry milkshake was perfect and service was quick and friendly. There are some spots so sit inside or grab your drink and go!

Turkey cranberry sandwich and a half-size chef salad.

Great stop for lunch. The staff was friendly and helpful. My husband had a half Chef Salad and I had the turkey cranberry sandwich, which came with chips. The salad was very fresh. It is also right across from the famous Winslow corner.

This is where you place your order.

Windsor, Arizona Two places I wanted to go to in Winslow, AZ was Sipp Shoppe and the corner of Winslow Arizona. Lucky me they were directly across the street from each other. This café is small with 6 to 8 tables. They do have a counter with a few chairs. One girl take your order and a guy makes all of the drinks. There were two people in the back cooking. The staff was friendly. I ordered the daily special grilled cheese on ciabatta bread served with a pickle and tomato soup. It also came with a large drink. My husband ordered the turkey cranberry sandwich. It came with chips and a pickle. The drink was extra. The grilled cheese was delicious. However, it comes with a pesto sauce. It did not say anywhere that had pesto on it so please be aware for those of you that may have an allergy. The tomato soup was piping hot! It was deliciously homemade. The turkey cranberry sandwich was served on a roll. And had lots of sliced turkey. Came with cranberries and lettuce. It was a good sandwich, but nothing special or extra extraordinary. It was served with chips and a pickle. They have ice cream that the hand scoop and make milkshakes that look delicious. One of the other customers was eating a crêpe and it looked fantastic. However, there weren't any crêpes on the menu that had any protein. So I chose against it. If it was morning instead of lunchtime, I might have chose differently. This place is centrally located and charming. I would most definitely stop back here if I was in town. Plenty of street parking as well as an open lot around the corner. There is no charge for parking. Bathrooms were clean, but all three stalls were empty of toilet paper. The only thing I saw that needed cleaning were the lights on the wall above the tables.

There was a small wait but plenty of seating. We initially went in for root beer float. A little disappointed they did not have vanilla but overall good. I ordered the cream cheese chile dog and my husband the tuna melt. Both were 5 out of 5.it was full of flavor and just the right size. The employees were friendly and professional. This is truly a hidden gem.

An old-time soda shop with a modern-day twist. You'd think you walked into a soda shop in Mayberry with Andy and Barney sitting there. They serve several ice cream treats, lates, shakes, malts, and, of course, ice cream. I got a scoop of salted caramel expresso ice cream. Fresh, homemade, and good. It's just what I needed on a warm AZ day.

Great unexpected stop. Cute little place that offers Coffee, soup, sandwiches, ice cream and more. We had sandwiches and green chili chicken soup which were all great! Ladies working were friendly and fast. Will definitely stop here again if our path takes us this way again.

I already had a couple of favorites in Payson that I enjoyed stopping at. But Sanders quickly joined my list of places to stop by. Sanders is owned by a couple and operates out of a small shop right off the highway. Sanders Coffee + Co. has all your basic espresso and coffee drinks plus a few of their own creations. They also have a variety of pastries, shake and smoothies. I typically order a latte and it is always made perfect for my long drives. Sanders uses Press Coffee beans and I have always been a fan of their products. I have only ordered a pastry with my drink on a couple of occasions. The Malasadas and Cinnamon Rolls are pretty good. The shop itself is cozy with couches and tables to relax at and a few merchandise items for purchase. The parking lot can be tight on busy weekends. Overall, this is high quality coffeeshop to stop at if you are passing through Heber-Overgaard. The staff is friendly and I always enjoy supporting a local business. The order line can be a little long on busy days.

Inside is modern and clean, but their staff lacked any personality. First time I tried a cinnamon roll and their blueberry muffin. It was nice of them to ask if I wanted the pastries warmed up, they use a microwave to do so. The cinnamon roll was delicious, nice buttery bottom and perfect amount of icing. The blueberry muffin was a miss for me, not enough sweetness in the batter so the muffin was very bland and lacked much blueberry flavor. For coffee, I tried their local and squatch from their specialty lattes. Their espresso was smooth and not bitter, but the latte itself was lackluster. They both did not have enough syrup, very mild in flavor and mostly espresso forward. If you are looking for bold flavors, you won't get that here.

It included a list of places to stay, things to see and do in the city and campgrounds.- quite fun that they have taken the time to put that together. Honestly, the food wasn't all that memorable and maybe it was because I had my heart set on that turkey Panini.
