It's a cool local place that I will skip on future trips to Miami. I went looking for chicken wings, walked away with tamales and pork that I trashed. Full list of list of drinks and beer but every beer I pointed to they did not have apparently so I got a margarita but that was full of a premade mix so I asked for a glass of sparkling wine thinking no one could mess up a simple pour. Weirdest glass of sparkling wine (they call it a martini and garnish it with a sugar rim). Fine. I ordered the tamales and she brought pork with it which was nice but I was full of the margarita mix so I couldn't possibly finish. I trashed the take out on the way to the airport. Food is good but service is lacking. I have been here several times and service is lacking and waitresses with attitudes and standing around doesn't work for me. I placed a phone oder at 11:05 am to be ready around 11:30 to be eaten at the restaurant. We get there and sit down and food isn't ready. We had to wait to 11:45 to get our food. the quality of food and service was absolutely terrible. i spent 33$ on a large pepperoni pizza with a 10 piece wings. i am disappointed with the quality of their food and their customer service. i got home and checked the pizza. the top didnt even look cooked properly i thought "okay lets just put it in the oven at home for a few minutes", but the bottom was completely burnt. im convinced they just grabbed a pizza that was sitting there and put it back in the oven. on top of that the wings weren't cooked properly either. i called before coming back to discuss the issue and apparently now no one there speaks english and the lady on the phone proceeded to hang up on me. even though i was just there talking to one of the managers in english. we went back, discussed the issue with the manager IN ENGLISH. we received our refund and the lady asked if we wanted our order remade. my father asked her if she personally would eat that pizza and her response was "no." that should tell you everything. if you yourself will not eat the food you sell, that tells you everything you should know. end of it all i just got little caesars, and their pizza is how it should look and taste. Super cool hole-in-the-wall mom and pop Cafe that is aviation themed with a big fuselage outside that houses the grill. Located right next Opa Locka Airport, there is a lot of traffic from airport employees and pilots that visit Romos. It is a Cuban style restaurant but has other things to offer on the menu like pasta. The prices are so reasonable I was questioning my lunches everywhere else. Not if only this restaurant would move up to Fort Lauderdale. The staff is a bit scatter brained. We had a table of 5 and we ordered quite a bit and she didn't write down any of the orders. She forgot two side orders. The food came out quickly. Rhe complimentary bread they give you at the table is soft, garlicky and buttery. It is addicting. I could eat the whole tray if I'm not careful. Man...for $4 the medianoche sandwich was huge! Definitely better than fast food. It was so good!! Nice buttered bread with ham and cheese inside with lots of pickles. My cortadito was only $1 and it was rich and flavorful. I was so content with the food. I decided to take the family to try it out for breakfast. I think I will stick to trying it out next time for lunch and trying out the skirt steak as everyone has mentioned. The breakfast wasn't that GREAT nothing popped out of the ordinary with their omelettes nor the egg, cheese and ham croissant. The fish croquetas were super basic and the service took FOR EVER even though it wasn't busy. I'm not sure who's pouring the mariquitas in the baskets but you're being super skimpy about it! We ended up having to order two orders because it was just a handful someone picked and threw in the basket I will say the cilantro sauce was really good though. I'm kinda disappointed that the place didn't meet up to my expectation. (At least for breakfast) I will try it out again during lunch another day. I will give it to our waitress for remembering all our orders with the details and not writing any of it down. I will mention a fun fact is that their BBQ is inside the airplane cock pit. read more

I've been coming to this establishment for many years, and I highly recommend it! It's a restaurant for blue collar factory workers as well as management. The food is fresh and made with care, the servers are attentive and courteous, and the beers are cold and plentiful. The churrasco steak is some of the best in Miami. Stopped by for a quick lunch for my first time. Had their roast pork/Lechon asado with black beans and rice and yucca. Delicious, very tasty, juicy and definitely not dry. I noticed another customer had ordered the ribs and he received a gigantic rack of ribs to go with his meal. there was a chef outside of the restaurant which was barbecuing steaks and breast of chicken. The smell as you are entering was incredibly good. Recommend this place and loved the service. The Cuban coffee was also good and well needed after a good meal. read more

Went with Romos because I always see promotions and the food always looks amazing on their Instagram page. When I tell you Hands-down thee BEST lechón, congri,yuca & maduros I have had. I went with some coworkers on our lunch break to get lunch and the service was terrible. The worst part about the whole experience was that when we received our complimentary bread there was a cockroach on the bread. The waitress didn't even apologize. I stumbled upon Romo's while looking for somewhere to order food for Christmas & New Years Eve. I went ahead and went in and spoke with Mercy who was very nice and attentive. I ordered food for Christmas Eve and went ahead and bought dinner for that night. The sooner was amazing, Moro with churrasco and a chicken churrasco. The churrasco is cooked with a bbq taste which makes it different from any other churrasco I've eaten. The chicken was nice and thick and very juicy. A couple days after I went ahead and picked up my order for Christmas Eve; pork and Moro, my family loved it!!!! The pork was full of flavor and the Moro was to die for, the food flew and we had nothing left.
