This place is similar to Pollo Tropical and La Granja, but it feels a little less like a chain establishment, with slightly higher quality food. I can't say I loved my meal, as the chicken was a little dry and underseasoned, the beans a little soupy, and the vegetables cooked from frozen, but for around $10 for a complete meal, it certainly wasn't bad. Also, the restaurant itself was very clean and the service was impeccable. I'm going to round up from 3.5* and will probably return to try something else on the menu.

This will probably become my new go to lunch spot for the area. I have only ordered one plate from Don Pollo for takeout, but it was very delicious. The special fried rice was filling, loaded with protein, and overall a great value. I will be back to order more fried rice and try some of their other offerings. The flavor and quality was good !

This is a fast-food spot with more traditional foods. They serve chicken, steak, porkchops and have a wide array of items on their menu. Inside has a very simple decor. I normally just go through the drive thru when ordering my meal. I order the chicken meal with rice /beans. The chicken is always fresh and well-seasoned. From what I can see a lot of ppl come here to pick up food. A lot of times there is a wait with drive thru orders but it definitely worth the wait. I always order the same thing so I dnt know about the rest of the menu, but the chicken is really good.

Not fancy but the food is amazing. Best Brasa chicken in the city! We love to order in from here and the chicken is always moist and made to perfection. Definitely a place that is loved by locals but is great for anyone who is looking for some good rotisserie chicken. The food is always amazingly fresh and ready so quickly! Best service ever! The food portions are perfect I always order the quarter chicken which is perfect for me. But we opt for the half chicken if we are very hungry or if we want to save some for lunch the next day. Great little hidden gem

This new Pollo joint is technically new in the neighborhood. So as a family, we decided to give it a shot yesterday since we had run out of our homemade cooked lunch. I bought the first item under Family Meal with two Large sides. That was 4 pieces of chicken with three sauces and a box for each side. In all honesty the meal was good but, I thought that the box for the yuca was maybe too big for the proportion. Which gives you the wrong expectation. Also to note that the first meal does not include any side it's just four pieces of chicken. So if you want rice and beans you need to add those sides to your order. Meaning, it is not an automatic added item. The fried Yuca and the sauces were my favorite. Tostones were ok and chicken was good but nothing special for my particular taste. Just a normal roasted chicken They have drive-through, which is great for these rainy and pandemic days. There may be a wait if about 15-20 for dinner time- after work.

This is a Peruvian Rotisserie Chicken Spot mainly, but offers 23 other Peruvian dish. Service was good friendly & FChicken was goodish,(better than Publix) but black beans too salty & maduro fried bananas were a little dry. The side sauce with onion they offered from Creamy Garlic, Cilantro Garlic, Spicy Garlic were excellent. Saw that had a huuge catering order being picked up. Interior looked clean & Updated, wish they had a little Peruvian background music playing.

Good food, they deliver via Uber eats. The only issue I have with don pollo is the portions. Very limited portion on the plate.

Fortunately, a coworker pointed me toward Latin American Grill in Miami Lakes, just a few minutes from our hotel. It turned out to be exactly the sendoff I was hoping for. We started with the Sopa de Pollo, a bowl that made it immediately clear this kitchen isn't interested in shortcuts. Large chunks of chicken, tender vegetables, and noodles floated in a broth with remarkable depth. It wasn't simply chicken soup, it was the kind of soup that makes you wonder why every other version tastes so timid. A squeeze of fresh lime added just enough brightness to wake up every spoonful without distracting from the richness of the broth. Then came the reason for the visit. The Medianoche. I've always preferred the sweeter cousin of the traditional Cuban sandwich, and Latin American Grill makes a terrific one. Thick slices of ham and juicy mojo pork were layered with Swiss cheese, mustard, and pickles before being pressed between soft, sweet bread until the outside turned beautifully crisp. Every ingredient had a purpose. The pork brought richness, the ham added salt, the mustard and pickles cut through the fat with welcome acidity, and the sweet bread tied everything together. It's one of those sandwiches that reminds you how satisfying simplicity can be when every component is done well. Sometimes the best restaurant recommendations don't come from guidebooks or social media. They come from someone who simply says, "You should eat here." In this case, they were absolutely right. A great Cuban sandwich doesn't need reinvention. It just needs great ingredients, careful execution, and a hot press. Latin American Grill delivers all three.

Maybe it wasn't a simple dining experience for me today, maybe motivation for me to check in on some people from way back then to see if they are still doing well. Thanks Latin American Grill for still being at the same location and reminding me to reach out to people I haven't spoken to in years. They offer plenty of free parking in this plaza. My family and I used to order form here weekly and it was truly like a reminiscing moment for us of our grandmas old cooking. But the last two times we have come we are so disgusted with the food. Our daughter's palomilla legitimately tasted and looked like lab grown engineered meat. There was no taste, color or consistency of in bistec de palomilla. It was so weird to see the this on the plate. Honestly. The chicken vaca frita is our family favorite. This was good. They put like an entire onion topped on top to hide the very small amount of chicken actually served. But taste and consistency were solid to their original serving. We are so saddened by the regression of this restaurant. This was always our favorite place to have a taste of home.
