I have been using Romp N'Roll for over 5 years and Ashley has become part of our family. She picks up my dogs (a terrier mutt and a lab) two times a week for daycare and the dogs are boarded with her when we go away on trips. She has a key to our house so that she can pick up and drop off if we're not there. Thanks to Ashley my dogs are well behaved, well socialized, they aren't finicky eaters (one of them used to be) and in good physical shape. They get exercise when they're with her for daycare. Ashley's scheduling and billing is very organized and she takes Venmo so payment is easy. My dogs have never gotten sick while boarding with her-no kennel cough, no stomach problems which were issues that I had with previous boarding places. I thank the stars for Romp n'Roll!!! read more

My girlfriend and I were having trouble getting our 2 year old female pitbull mix enough exercise. We tried the dog park but after a dog attacked ours I didn't feel comfortable there anymore. We sent her with a different dog walker for a while, but he let the dogs off leash which led to our dog having an incident with another dog while she wasn't being watched. Feeling kind of hopeless, we called Ashley and David, told them everything about our dog, including the incidents she'd had with other dogs. David took her on a solo walk as a trial and said they'd be more than happy to take her on their daily hikes. He is super attentive and thoughtful, he doesn't let the dogs off leash, and he works on leash training and socializing. So I agree with a previous review: this is NOT a dog walking service, it's much more than that. And our dog could not be happier. Every day at 2 pm she gets excited before he even arrives, and she's always tired when she gets back. They leave a little card letting you know when she was picked up and dropped off, whether she went to the bathroom and what time, and when the next scheduled hike is. They're thorough, friendly, and helpful with advice about dog care. So to put it simply, my girlfriend and I LOVE Romp N Roll! read more

Our dog has been going to Romp 'N' Roll 3-5 days a week for about a year and a half. He started going when he was about 5 months old and for about a year he was going five days a week. We also board our dog with Romp 'N' Roll if we have to go out of town. Our pup LOVES Ashley and if I am ever home when he gets picked up, he runs straight to her with his tail wagging with reckless abandon. Watching his excitement makes my heart happy because I know that he must have the best time with her at "camp." The pick up/drop off service is absolutely crucial for our professional lives and makes this service a complete lifesaver. Anytime we describe the service to our friends, no one can believe what you get for the price. I have recommended Romp 'N' Roll to several friends and will continue to do so in the future. If you are someone who wants a puppy cam so that you can watch your dog all day and know exactly what he is doing at all times, this might not be the place for you and your pup. But if you are someone that wants your dog to have a great day playing OUTSIDE with other dogs, wants to your dog to be somewhere where the people really care for his/her well being, and wants great flexibility and accommodation, this place is for you. read more

We absolutely love Romp N Roll. Both of our dogs adored David and Ashley like nothing you have ever seen. They have some kind of crazy wizard animal magic that enchants our dogs into states of delirious rapture. And they love the dogs right back! When our dog Wesley unexpectedly passed away this year, they were heartbroken and in tears to hear the news, and they were incredibly supportive throughout. And just a few weeks ago they called to tell me that there had been recalls on the EVO dry food we were using, and they suggested a safer brand. We love the flexibility and ease of having the drop off/pick up service, too. They work hard to accommodate last-minute schedule changes or special needs, and they are always ready to offer a solution if there is a problem with the schedule or they don't have space. I am so dying to see their awesome new space in Santa Clarita! I have never actually gotten to see my dog playing with a bunch of other dogs because we don't take her to dog parks, so I would love to see what she's like in daycare. I wish they had a little doggy cam in the play area so we could log in and watch our pups playing. That would be awesome. read more

Ashley and her crew are by far the best doggie daycare in all of L.A. Not only is Romp n Roll affordable, but they pick up and drop off, and my dogs could not be happier there. I've been sending my dogs to Romp N Roll since I first moved back to L.A, in 2013. They go almost every day because my wife and I work full time, and we want to make sure they're loved and watched while we're gone. When we leave town, we also leave our little guys with Ashley. i know how much my dogs love romp n roll because of how they react to Ashley or anyone from her crew when they come to pick them up. They can't wait to leave the house, as if I didn't even exist! The other thing I really like about Romp n Roll is how flexible Ashley is. She never hesitates to make accommodations if she can, and is extremely responsive to text messages. Finally, when we got our second dog, Renly, Ashley was a star for us. She made sure to keep him inside with her before he got all his shots, and really gave him special attention. I always feel safe when Ashley and the Romp N Roll crew has my dogs. Anyone in L.A. who is considering sending their dogs to daycare should send them to Romp N Roll. With the pick up and drop off, and the awesome rates, there's really no comparison. read more

We've been sending our boxer Roxy to Romp 'N' Roll for nearly four years. To call Romp 'N' Roll merely a dog-walking service is a great injustice, as it lumps them in with others who call themselves dogwalkers -- people who will let your dog out of its crate for a half hour at lunchtime. Boring. Romp 'n' Roll redefines the genre. Ashley and her team are more like counselors at super-fun doggie summer camp. Your dog gets to spend the whole time in their care, playing and socializing with other dogs. Our dog Roxy always comes home happy and tired. They even pick her up & drop her off. I searched for a while for a daycare service for my 6-year-old bulldog Nigel before I found Romp N Roll. I have been using their daycare and boarding services for about two years now, and I am ecstatic that I found them. I can't believe everything they do for how little they charge (I'm almost afraid to write this and have them realize how much more they could be charging). For the price of what I've seen other dog walkers charge for a 30 minute walk Ashley and David would come to pick up Nigel, take him for the entire day, drop him off, feed him and leave a note letting me know how the day went. Yes, I trust them enough to give them full access to my place when I am not at home. The boarding with Romp N Roll is just as great as the daycare. I love it because I know I'm not leaving Nigel at a place where he'll be cooped up all day only to be taken out for walks. On top of all of this they work with my very stubborn dog, and some of the issues he has that needs their attention and care. I can't express how much I appreciate Ashley and David. The only downside is that your dog might end up loving them more than you. read more

And always have time/space to pick up my pup! I always feel much better knowing that bones is with a caring group of people and that he goes outside all day when I don't have time to be there. If something is going on with bones, Ashley and her team always watch out for him. They give me awesome advise/doggie knowledge if I'm worried about him or if he's not feeling well. When it comes to dog care It is a way better option then the pet care places around my house. Bones comes back exhausted and happy after getting to run around all day with other dogs. I had to find somewhere for my furry one for several months and Romp N Roll really did come to the rescue! She boarded there full time and was so well looked after, the facilities they have are so much better and more friendly than the usual big, sterile pet boarding companies. I've never found anywhere that I've been comfortable leaving her before but Ashley is incredibly reliable and trustworthy and really knows how to deal with the differing personalities that every dog has. The vet told us our dog was dangerously overweight, even though we had been sending her to daycare to some depressing facility. Then we found out about Romp n Roll's epic hikes and loving care. Now our dog is healthy and vibrant and fun. The vet said how great she looked and how strong her heart is now. She loves to run and play, instead of before when she was like a lazy watermelon. Ashley and David at Romp n Roll are the perfect playmates for your little friend when Mama/Papa has to go out and earn the dog Biscuits! I for one, would not be able to enjoy the many benefits of owning a four legged friend if it were not for their versatility and professionalism. My little Dog Biscuit is always happy to join them for walks and over night visits, and its very reassuring to be constantly in the loop as to her activities and well being. Im the one that needs the care sometimes! Biscuit has been a regular visitor to Romp n Roll since she was a tiny puppy, and they have helped her to learn basic commands. First let me begin by saying that if you are searching for a pet sitter and have come upon Romp 'N Roll, there is a good chance you are an animal lover who is as concerned with your pet as a family member as a parent is with a child. Romp 'N Roll is owned and operated by Ashley and Dave, and they are down-to-Earth, professional, and truly care about making the dog's experience as enjoyable as possible. To begin with, I have three dogs, each with their own personalities. One is an eleven year old English bulldog, who needs constant attention and, in her later years, has become ever more cranky towards other dogs. In short, she needs to kept away from other unknown dogs or she does her best to show her dominance. Ashley and Dave could have easily left her in my home and checked in on her a few times a day, while boarding my other two dogs. But instead Ashley and Dave created a private space for her where she could be alone and not be bothered by the other dogs. As I know how high-maintenance my dogs can be, each with their own quirks, I was more than impressed with how Ashley and Dave went above and beyond to make their sleep-overs enjoyable. Living in the Hollywood Hills my dogs have become accustomed to long hikes through the canyon twice a day. At this, Ashley and Dave excel. There is nothing like being away from my "kids" and missing them, and receiving emails and text message photos of my dogs lying on their beds thoroughly exhausted from long hikes through the canyons. And yes, all you have to do is ask, and Ashley and Dave are more than happy to send photos. I have a miniature pinscher that never seems to be at a loss of energy, but seeing photos of him passed out with an exhausted, content expression, makes me know I have made a sound decision in allowing Ashley and Dave care for my dogs. I am proud to see Ashley and Dave's business expanding and only wish them much more success. I trust them with my most valuable treasures. read more

Ashley has been taking care of our maltipoo Wall-E for almost a year now! My boyfriend and I work unpredictable hours so the fact that she comes to get him from our house and drops him off is SO helpful. We live in a townhouse and Wall-E doesn't get a lot of time to run and play off leash, in a yard so I love that he gets to play outside instead of being locked in a room with a cement floor all day like most doggie daycares. We have a clingy rescue dog who is often fearful of people she sees regularly ( our friends!) so it was always a great stress leaving her behind when we couldn't bring her on certain trips.
