Not in love with the facilities to begin with, small and very sterile. My golden who is very social and does great at all of her other daycare experiences, clearly picked up on the weird, uptight vibes here. I have no opinion on the hands on canine staff, they may be great but the manager is insufferable. My golden did the initial visit and another day but the vibes have always been odd and I think this stems from the front house attitude and stringent policies that don't really make sense. I couldn't help but feel like I was back in a high school gymnasium confined to a PE class that I did not want to be in. When I picked up my dog, I felt like she had just experienced the same thing. Once in a bind, I tried to bring my dog for an afternoon and they required another trial day (had been about 5 months) within their very inconvenient scheduling window. Unsure if this is a power move to inconvenience people, bureaucracy or a way to charge extra, either way I've been avoiding this place ever since. Management was not personable, understanding or flexible in any way. I found this odd since my four year old golden, who passed their screening initially, has only gotten calmer and easier in the past year. Some of my friends in the dog community have had similar experiences although I know a few people with smaller dogs who like this place. I can only imagine they are not aware of the other amazing facilities in the area. My recommendation, don't waste your energy jumping through hoops for this place unless expensive, dismissive, snobby attitude is your preferred style of customer service and care. At the very least enter at your own risk. read more

The staff here so far has been great with my dog Ignacio! We've done a couple of overnights and about 6 stays total-and so far, so good. He's excited when I drop him off, which I think is a good sign and they've been careful to help me keep his little shoes on while he's healing from some hot spots on his back feet. We have been boarding our rescue pup here for over 15 nights over the past 6ish months. I love that they have cameras so you can see your four-legged family member while you are away. What's most comforting is seeing the team members at Hounds Club interacting with their little furry guests. I have seen team members surrounded by dogs getting kisses and have also spied another sitting on the ground with the pups, watching a movie. It is the best. This is my second time bringing my pups for a nail trim (on the recommendation of my coworker) and I love this place! Easy parking, friendly staff and clean facilities. Unlike other groomers, you can watch your pup being serviced through a window and the staff is so caring and gentle. One of my pups had a terrible experience at a different groomer and was terrified to even walk in the same direction of the shop. I had been doing my best to trim their nails at home but after cutting the quick one time, I decided to look for a new groomer and have a professional take care of their nails. My pup loves Hounds Club! The workers are so kind and I can tell they take care of my pup well by how excited she is to run in! Their hours are super helpful to my work schedule, the doggy cameras ease any anxiety I have, and I appreciate their open communication regarding her behavior. Great boarding facility! You can see on the cameras they are very good about constantly keeping everything clean. I used to board at another place up just up the street from this facility. My dog would come home stinking of urine and all her paws tinted yellow. I so badly wanted to give this place my business but they refused my dog because she doesn't have a vaccine for a strain of canine influenza that my vet doesn't even offer anymore because it's been "ERADICATED". I tried to understand the logic of this decision. My puppy literally wasn't alive when the vaccine for the previous strain was offered. She's fully vaxxed otherwise. Honestly the lack of critical thinking and decision making is astounding. Found another day care that was glad to take our pup. read more

A nice daycare option. I like that they have half day prices, are open on the weekends, and they have boarding. We haven't tried the boarding yet, but I like having the option. They have long hours with flexibility in case you have to drop off or pick up early. I also like to spy on my pup via their cameras because I love watching him play. read more

Mookie absolutely adores the hounds club. I really appreciate that they are so protective of what dogs are allowed in. I don't feel like Mookie is at risk for getting sick or hurt because they are pretty strict about what dogs are allowed to attend. I took my dog here for a couple months with no issues. She loved daycare, until she came home with bruises and bleeding scratches. I picked her up and the night guy went to go get my dog. He comes back 10 minutes later and says "she bit me after wrestling with her for 10 minutes." On the way home she was shaking and horrified, which she never is! She is a ball of sunshine and energy. It wasn't until I got home that I saw these bruises and cuts, which is after I cleaned it up because it was bleeding. I called the daycare the next day to talk to them about the incident. When I emailed them the photo they said "yes that's bad" and were silent. They were shocked at the bruises and scratches. They kept calling me back with people who weren't even there when the incident happened and the story just kept changing. First it was she bit him so she can't come back, then it was he dropped her, then it became maybe she jumped the fence. This is with a different phone call every time. 1) Why are you wrestling with my dog? How could you treat a dog that way? 2) Why can't you tell me what happened? You have camera's! 3) Why are multiple people calling me who weren't even there? 4) Get your story straight before talking to me 5) I was never able to talk to the owner about it even though he was the first one to pick up the phone and gave it straight to a manager. 6) Why aren't you taking this seriously?? My dog has never once showed aggression and is loving and caring to all people and dogs - they confirmed this. These bruises and scratches are from the night guy wrestling with my dog. I will never be taking my dog here again!! read more

Worst place. My dog had gone here dozens of times over the years (we've paid them $1000s for that and have been good customers) then all of a sudden after not having come back for a bit over a year they said my dog wasn't allowed to come back! They did a temperament test and said she failed. Even though she passed it, so they lied. She has never harmed another dog in her life she's 12. It was ridiculous. They allow 20min where other dogs gather around the new dog and literally mark their territory so it takes some time to get used to, obviously but they don't ever seem to know that so they also seem incompetent to add to the list of complaints about them. She had been there so many times and stayed overnight many times over the years and NOT ONE time did any of their employees including this manager say that she did anything wrong before. The manager is dishonest and seems to enjoy being unhelpful. Don't deal with them and certainly don't trust them with your beloved pet. Literally the worst run business in town! On a side note, most of the employees there have been rude over the years as well. Unfriendly and awkward is an understatement. I hope the owner reads this and makes some changes to their business for the better! read more

First off, I have no children and I am a total helicopter dog mom. My dog LOVES this place. He's a small dog and when we go to the dog park he doesn't care to interact with the other dogs, at least he didn't before coming here... now he's a social butterfly with other dogs at the park. Domestic dogs are supposed to have dog friends and coming here is how I provide that for my pup. We slowly built our dog up by coming more and more over time so he felt safe to try spending the night and now we leave him here when we travel instead of with family because he's happier with dog pack slumber parties. Every time we drop he off he rushes to the door with his tail wagging and can't wait to go in. I think we've been going for 6 months and he's still doing that! He even gets excited when I pack up his food for overnight visits and wags his tail. I read some of the 1 star reviews here and yeah, they'll probably kick you out if your dog is aggressive, and that's a good thing! I don't want my baby hanging out with humpers, biters, and unvaccinated dogs anyway. If your dog's doing that, get a trainer and try to test back in! I almost don't want to recommend this place because I don't want them to get too full... They have windows where you can watch your dog play and cameras too, but I never use the cameras because it feels creepy and my dog's tail wags and enthusiasm to go inside speaks for itself. read more
