I drove…read moreit for a couple weeks to find that it had a coolant leak which had to be filled every 3-5 days roughly. After the 3rd week I found that while pulling a trailer it had a massive lack of power. I brought it in to a local diesel company in Lethbridge to get it diagnosed. They came back with a list of items worth nearly $12000. This list included a new turbo replacement, head gasket replacement with new new ARP studs, head testing, custom programming for the head and an EGR reroute and delete. I passed this quote onto the Insta Auto Sales GM and he didn't want to pay for it all and said it wasn't necessary to do all this work. He then made an effort to get the truck back to Edmonton to diagnose it himself through his own shop. He came back with a turbo replacement and a coolant level sensor replacement. He did these repairs and after weeks of waiting finally got the truck back to me in Lethbridge. I picked it up and took it out for a test drive pulling my trailer to find out that there was still a massive power loss on the highway and a coolant leak again. I contacted him to let him know and all he could tell me was: "You will have to get the truck to a diesel mechanic to asses what the issue is. I did all I can last repair even picked it up and dropped it off 7 hours away. You have unlimited km unlimited Claims for 5k each time for 2 years warranty you will have to go this route with it. Get it diagnosed and we can go their" I told him I was tired of wasting my time on this truck and needing to bring it in for diagnosing and repairs in such a short time of owning it, his next response was: "I understand your frustration. However we did a large repair out of good faith and tried to ease the inconvenience the first time around. However this is a 9 year old diesel truck that you have put over 3,000 kms on after purchasing. You have extended warranty for this reason the truck was in good operational condition when it was delivered back to you & we can't verify its use after the fact. Again have a diesel shop diagnose the issue." I took the truck into Diesel Tech in Lethbridge and had them diagnose it for the 2nd time. While waiting for this diagoses, I call Assurant(the company that deals with the aftermarket I purchased for almost $3000). I found out that there was an existing claim made on the turbo replacement. I told the guy I never put in for a claim and later found out that the Insta Auto Sales GM had put in a claim through my own warranty to replace that turbo without my consent. He was also trying to get me to sign off on the invoice for the work being complete so that he could get his reimbursement through my warranty. All this and he told me he got this truck fixed out of good faith. I have messaged him over and over again to ask about rectifying these issues and he continues to ignore me about it. They came back with a Cylinder Head Gasket leak, coolant in my oil, low fuel pressure caused by either a leak down on injectors or a high pressure pump failure as well as the fuel housing that was installed is stripped and they cannot get it off without damaging it. This would mean replacing it as well, this quote has come out to somewhere in the vicinity of $20000 just to get this truck back to where it needs to be for it to run properly. I would recommend not using this company to purchase any vehicles through because they will ultimately leave you to fend for yourself.

So I get the truck mileage was supposed to be 48k but it's 55k I contact Anthony he's apologetic and says that he could reimburse me 1200$ for the difference in kms. Fast forward a week later I get a call from.the GM named Doug Greenslade he calls me with an attitude saying he won't be providing any reimbursement and Anthony doesn't work there anymore. I told him Anthony said he approved with the GM (Doug). He says "your trade in had an accident" I said yes I was upfront about that and I have all the text thats Anthony said YOU approved then he tried to pretend he didn't know about the accident and that was why he wouldn't reimburse me. So whatever nothing I can do with this man I said fine just send me the new paperwork with the correct mileage I didn't tell him what the truck had when it arrived 7k more then advertised but, he magically knew the exact number when he sent me the paperwork. He said they would pay off the trade in at the AGREED price 21800 weeks later I call the bank and they said they paid off 21200! Doug Greenslade is a an absolute crook . Filled tire but tire valve froze open and wouldn't stop leaking air. finally got it to stop but tire was very low. Took to St Albert Doidge, Trevor in service came out and said no prob, we can fill all your tires. Did it and was on my way in minutes. Cant thank him enough, they always go above and beyond for me. The general manager and principle called it poor communication but they were just protected themselves ,never did hear from owner about my concerns after multiple emails . I had to deal with general manager because my salesperson (who was terrific was away) . I have bought many new cars over the years and this experience was one of the worst if not the worst. Ended up buying my LC500 out of Quebec and had it shipped to edmonton and it was still cheaper and a way better experience . Just saying at this time you have a 50/50 chance of a good experience with this dealership . I have talked to Lexus Canada and they should hear from them , I never have . Third time they so called fixed the coolant leak for the second time and ANOTHER new problem with oil pressure sensor. This garage should be investigated . Just read the reviews , this one is the same as the rest because it's true ! You will have bigger issues and there are 6 mechanics there . Unbelievable

They should have hundreds of reviews, but their rating got so bad they had to start from scratch again. Bought a car from them 4.5 years ago, absolute nightmare, had a deal with the salesman to buy a brand-new Insight for $30,000 plus the 6.7% interest only. The shady finance department butchered the first contract up so bad, they had me owing over $48,000. After revisions, they then, conveniently forgot to change the bi-weekly payment from $267 bi-weekly to roughly $225 bi-weekly. I pointed it out to the girl in finance, and she said, "it's been already sent off to the bank, but ensured me that with the larger payments, the term would therefore shorten from 7 years to roughly 5.5". It made sense to me, so I believed her. OK, in retrospect, believing her after trying to overcharge me the first time, wasn't smart. But never thought a large auto maker like that would try to screw someone over a second time after being caught the first time. But hats off to St. Albert Honda, because they pulled it off. It's kind of like being warned by a referee for bumping into the other teams goalie, nodding in agreement with the ref, then punching the goalie in the head the minute the refs back is turned. Long story slightly shorter, I still have $11,400 still owing on a $30,000 car loan after paying $267 bi-weekly for 4.5 years of a supposed 5.5 year term. No matter how many auto loan calculators I used, including Honda's, I should only have roughly $6500 owing. This particular bank no longer deals with St. Albert Honda, and I can see why. Run the other waaaaaaay, unless you have an extra $5000 to spare!!!!!!

Then when we go to register and insure it are told the bill of sale doesn't match the current registration. Basically, they sold us a vehicle they didn't even own.
