Because the numbers of our house were written incorrectly on the invoice, it did take the electrician a little longer to find us. The work was done correctly and well. I wore a mask, but the electrician did not. I did need to sign paperwork etc, so it might have been a good idea if they would wear masks while in a customers home. This weekend my basement flooded again. I called a different local company who came this morning and cleared a huge amount of roots that would have taken 3 years, and likely many more, to build up. I don't know what Econo Drain did last year but thankfully I didn't choose the hydro jet option which was over $1,000. Used to be a great company- reliable and honest. Not under the new ownership.

After their equipment got stuck and more technicians had to come out, 4 employees spent nearly 4 hours in our basement and told us the line was free n clear & the job was done. Lie Two weeks later our drain backed up again. When I called, I was told the service wasn't guaranteed and I'd have to pay another $550 for them to return. In a condescending way he told me I should have taken the advice of his technicians and done hydro jetting. On their Facebook page, they post they are hiring technicians with no experience necessary/ will train on the job. So their technicians of high experience are always right? That should have been my first red flag. 2nd Red Flag is we didn't realize they are under new ownership. We were never shown the camera footage they claimed that proved the line was clear. Instead we were told we should have read our receipt that there's no guarantee. I had to hire another company KSK Sewer & Drain Cleaning who removed a extra large amount of tree roots that clearly hadn't been cleared. Kevin was great & very honest. He told me I don't know what Econo did but clearly they didn't clear the sewer line completely. His service is also guaranteed for 8 months. The service, communication and the lack of accountability by Econo Sewer is beyond frustrating. Do not waste your time or money.

The first time was okay, I let him inside (during COVID) even though he was doing outdoor work so he could see the space. He never wore a mask, didn't even have one, and no shoe covers either. The next time I asked him to wear a mask and I had to provide one to him. The next time (yes, this has been almost two months and the project still isn't complete) he showed up to the job with a dead drill? He needed to plug it into my house to charge, and then just sat in his van half an hour letting it juice up. We wanted two over-door lights and two outdoor outlets put in. He would leave siding open on the house showing the insulation and then leave for days at a time, even during rain storms. The last time he came over he slammed so hard that the plaster wall cracked INSIDE the house! We had two switches to be fixed inside, he did one then sat down and said he was too tired for the day and needed to go home. So he just.... left? Still hasn't been fixed. Now it's been three and a half weeks since he "finished" the project and guess what? The switches for the outdoor lights are swapped. One side of the duplex controls the other side's outdoor lights and vice versa. We've been calling this whole time to get him to return and fix the work, but no one has showed up.

Mike shows up,super nice guy but has nothing to do with billing, he gets done & hands me a bill for almost $600 We called the office to see about the difference & she says well I'm not an electrician so I can't tell you how long the job should take, then tells me they are union & you pay from the time they leave the shop until they get back,WHAT???? You should not be answering the phone & representing a business if you are ignorant of the education it takes to speak clearly & concisely to educate your customers & build a clients base, not alienate them.
