I really appreciated being able to converse electronically with Bryan regarding what services I needed completed and him providing an estimate the same way. The ease of doing business was key in my selecting him for my plumbing job. I needed: - A pedestal sink removed - A new vanity/sink/faucet installed in place of the pedestal - A toilet removed - A new toilet installed - A simple bidet installed - Another sink drain snaked - That same sink fixed so the stopper would keep the water in the bowl - A whole house filter installed Bryan quoted a fair price for all of these things and given that it was almost an entire days' worth of work, I accepted his proposal. We agreed on a date and time and I looked forward to a number of things on my home list getting checked off. The plumber was about 25 minutes late, not a big deal. He also introduced himself as, "Plumber." I figured he would tell me his name later, but he never did. At any rate, Plumber did a good job with everything on the list and answered any questions I had. Really the only issue was that the whole house filter was supposed to come with a special wrench to change the filter and it took a couple emails to Bryan to get that to me. We had a blocked up bathtub drain that wouldn't budge with a plunger or snake. I never use the acid based drain openers because I don't think they do much other than rot out your pipes. So I called in the pros from Faust plumbing. The plumber tried to get the blockage by going at it from the tub to no avail. He then decided to try it from the basement trap. He had to run the snake in pretty far, but you could tell when he knocked the obstruction out. It was the sound of relief. I had a sewer backup and after the lateral was opened, I learned that I had a lateral and tree root problem. I hired the Faust Co to investigate and come up with a fix. Did I need the lateral to be dug up or could the fix be less evasive? My contact was with Nick, a very knowledgeable person, who came up with a first step procedure and that was to video inspect the lateral. The technicians found that the lateral was ok but the root mass needed to be removed. The lateral is clear now. The time period, call to the Faust Co and the fix was 2 days. Nick's action to video inpect, as the first step, saved me a lot of money. Nick, besdes being on top of this job, was so easy to talk to and was so informative. I found Faust Co on Yelp when I needed my basement laundry tub unclogged. It was a BAD clog. I requested a quote through the Yelp app and they were one of the replies. I chose them mainly because they had a good rating. We interacted via Messages in Yelp and scheduled the appointment. Mark, the plumber that arrived was very personable, which I find to be rare. He replaced the P-trap and the T-Trap in less time than I expected, and the water has been flowing better than it ever has in the 18 years I've owned my house. We needed the pipes replaced in a house that has a lot of galvanized steel from the 1940s, along with PEX and copper from more recent renovations. Only Faust & Co. actually came to the house to see the situation first hand. Consequently, we got a precise estimate that didn't include any unnecessary work. We were able to replace all the galvanized lines with copper and, in addition, insulate the hot water lines for a price that fit our budget. We'll be using Faust & Co. again. read more

This is the second time I've contacted Faust Plumbing and both times I have been extremely satisfied with their work! The first time was in 2019 to have a new toilet installed, the plumber came out, replaced the new toilet and took the old one away, took no time at all and it was very cost-effective. This time, our utility tub wouldn't drain which caused us to not be able to do laundry for weeks. We had multiple plumbers from reputable companies come out without ANY success which wasted a lot of time and money. I then remembered Faust and called them on a Thursday afternoon, I was pleasantly surprised that they were able to schedule a technician to come out the very next day. Nick arrived with a smile on his face, ready to work. Within minutes of us talking, I felt confident in his ability to get the job done. One of the downsides of living in an aging home is the frequent need for repairs. In the last several years, we've had a few pipes corrode and leak in our basement. Thankfully, Faust Co. was on the case! We noted the leak on a Sunday, so I assumed my request to Yelp for local contractors would be unanswered until at least Monday or Tuesday. Within an hour, the owner replied to me with a quote and set up a time for the repair. The quote was much more reasonable that projects we've had completed from other plumbers in the past, so we got it on the calendar right away. The plumber, Nick, arrived promptly at 8 am Monday morning to get things fixed. He came in a marked van, which I always appreciate. As a mom with three children, I always like to know I'm letting in the right person. He introduced himself, came prepared with knowledge about the problem, and got right to work. Within 90 minutes, everything was tip top! He cleaned up his work space and we were ready to get on with our day. This was by far the best plumbing experience we've had in years.
