BLT 2pc bacon ‍

Staff was friendly, price okay, but let me preface this with it takes A Lot to piss me off. This place made me the worst BLT i have ever had, you pay $8+ for lettuce/tomato b/c there clearly wasn't any bacon on this sandwich. Just terrible...easiest sandwich to make and your food margins are high on this sandwich. Cheating out on the MAIN ingredient is just terrible business. I will never go back.

This place is overpriced and the food isn't even that good. As a result, they lost me as a customer.

I was in the mood for a salad and this place popped up in my search results…read more I parked on the busy street and upon getting out of the car, there was an empty six pack of beer bottles on the curb. Not their fault, but definitely a nod to that strip of somewhat vacant storefronts next door. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile by the woman behind the counter. There was no paper menu to read quietly on my own. I had to watch her use a remote to change the screens on the TV. She answered any questions I had but I found it a bit uncomfortable that she had to say "let me know when you're ready to see the next screen" in order to see the next page of menu items. The food... I did a create your own and it included 5 items and I added chicken and a few other "fresh ingredients". This was by far, not my favorite salad. The beets were crunchy strips. The broccoli was shredded crumbs. The lettuce had brown spots on it. The quinoa was cold and hard. The feta was good. The kalamata olives were good. The chicken was horrible. I'm used to a whole piece of grilled chicken, warm, juicy and cut up on my salads. This was a big container of chicken shredded up into small dued out bits. Everything was tossed for me and the somewhat creamy balsamic dressing was too briny. Thank goodness it was on the side. When I got home, I added my own avacado, tomatoes and dressing. It was dinner time. If you're going to serve this kind of food, it should be fresh all of the time or don't stay open that late, only to serve the last of what was put out in the morning. I gave one star for the kindness of the woman and one star for the idea. I want to support small business but $20 for a less than mediocre salad bowl is not worth returning.

Fresh ingredients friendly service. Great place for a freshly made salad or soup. Plenty of options…read moreto accommodate all diets.

"OK" is the most apt description I have of this place. Generally, the idea of buying a salad when I…read morecould make my own isn't the most appealing to me, so the salad has to be great or at least good. My wife thinks the salads are great. I think they are good. So why not a 4 or 5 review? Because this place really overcomplicates things--and I can't quite figure out why. There 6 or 7 people working at any given point. It's actually kind of funny watching because there are usually 2 who don't know where to stand or what to do. But they make you fill out a form and then, more times than not, THEY ASK YOU INFORMATION THAT YOU JUST GAVE ON THE FORM! YO! C'MON! I imagine that the form idea came around in the name of efficiency. But this is asinine, and this is either one of those solutions for a problem that doesn't exist... or it is a solution that is implemented very poorly. But the best (worst) is today when the form is filled out that I want the salad chopped and the dressing on--and the person asks me if I want the dressing on--and then the salad comes neither chopped nor dressed! All the while, there are all these people handling my salad and form (because, as I said, people need to find something to do), and no one bothers to double-check?? Wouldn't that be a good use of a person?? So, this place is OK. The salads are good or better. But the processes are odd, if not a little funny.

Wow! What a neighborhood gem! We were looking for a place to have lunch so I checked Yelp for a…read morerecommendation and found some great reviews about Tonnam Thai in Bohemia. Quite honestly it's a small restaurant in a strip mall that I would compare to a takeout Chinese restaurant, however they have about six tables and a wonderful waitress named Masi who provided great service with a smile. We ordered Shrimp Pad Thai and Drunken Noodles with Shrimp and both dishes were well seasoned and cooked perfectly. I typically don't eat spicy food so I asked for mild seasoning on drunken noodles and they were a bit spicy for me but absolutely delicious. I tasted my sister's pad thai and could not believe how good it was. The next time we go, I will definitely be ordering that pad thai. If you're thinking about going out for Thai food and you're in the area, definitely give this place a try. You can tell by the reviews that they have great food; the prices are super affordable and they even offer a great weekday lunch special for $13-$16 for a variety of dishes, a spring roll and a soda. I can't wait to go back!

My favorite place was for bagels was by the DMV but their prices have been out of control. I'm willing to try anywhere. Brendels did not let down, a dense everything bagel (with salt) appropriately buttered. The show cases had tons of options as far as salads and bakery items. Neat organized and clean. There was an array of cooler beverages and coffee station so you can add to your coffee as you like. Service was fast and friendly. The new owners seemed to already know the neighborhood, and people by name. There was an extensive catering menu with hero options, priced fairly and equivalent to where we usually order. A note, really my personal preference, the flavored coffee was actually flavored coffee not just pumps. My favorite sandwich pictured was perfection (it also came with a salad or chips and a coffee), cold turkey on a hero with melted Swiss, bacon and Russian dressing. Enough to save for lunch the next day and still just as good. *note I asked for less meat.
