    BLT 2pc bacon ‍

Staff was friendly, price okay, but let me preface this with it takes A Lot to piss me off. This place made me the worst BLT i have ever had, you pay $8+ for lettuce/tomato b/c there clearly wasn't any bacon on this sandwich. Just terrible...easiest sandwich to make and your food margins are high on this sandwich. Cheating out on the MAIN ingredient is just terrible business. I will never go back.

This place is overpriced and the food isn't even that good. As a result, they lost me as a customer.

I was in the mood for a salad and this place popped up in my search results…read more I parked on the busy street and upon getting out of the car, there was an empty six pack of beer bottles on the curb. Not their fault, but definitely a nod to that strip of somewhat vacant storefronts next door. Upon entering, I was greeted with a smile by the woman behind the counter. There was no paper menu to read quietly on my own. I had to watch her use a remote to change the screens on the TV. She answered any questions I had but I found it a bit uncomfortable that she had to say "let me know when you're ready to see the next screen" in order to see the next page of menu items. The food... I did a create your own and it included 5 items and I added chicken and a few other "fresh ingredients". This was by far, not my favorite salad. The beets were crunchy strips. The broccoli was shredded crumbs. The lettuce had brown spots on it. The quinoa was cold and hard. The feta was good. The kalamata olives were good. The chicken was horrible. I'm used to a whole piece of grilled chicken, warm, juicy and cut up on my salads. This was a big container of chicken shredded up into small dued out bits. Everything was tossed for me and the somewhat creamy balsamic dressing was too briny. Thank goodness it was on the side. When I got home, I added my own avacado, tomatoes and dressing. It was dinner time. If you're going to serve this kind of food, it should be fresh all of the time or don't stay open that late, only to serve the last of what was put out in the morning. I gave one star for the kindness of the woman and one star for the idea. I want to support small business but $20 for a less than mediocre salad bowl is not worth returning.

Fresh ingredients friendly service. Great place for a freshly made salad or soup. Plenty of options…read moreto accommodate all diets.

"OK" is the most apt description I have of this place. Generally, the idea of buying a salad when I…read morecould make my own isn't the most appealing to me, so the salad has to be great or at least good. My wife thinks the salads are great. I think they are good. So why not a 4 or 5 review? Because this place really overcomplicates things--and I can't quite figure out why. There 6 or 7 people working at any given point. It's actually kind of funny watching because there are usually 2 who don't know where to stand or what to do. But they make you fill out a form and then, more times than not, THEY ASK YOU INFORMATION THAT YOU JUST GAVE ON THE FORM! YO! C'MON! I imagine that the form idea came around in the name of efficiency. But this is asinine, and this is either one of those solutions for a problem that doesn't exist... or it is a solution that is implemented very poorly. But the best (worst) is today when the form is filled out that I want the salad chopped and the dressing on--and the person asks me if I want the dressing on--and then the salad comes neither chopped nor dressed! All the while, there are all these people handling my salad and form (because, as I said, people need to find something to do), and no one bothers to double-check?? Wouldn't that be a good use of a person?? So, this place is OK. The salads are good or better. But the processes are odd, if not a little funny.

I ordered a Build Your Own Bowl with all my favorite things and it was yummy enough. I wanted a little more flavor and in retrospect, should have asked for a little more lemon juice. It tasted like it was left out but I didn't mention. Pro tip: If you like your salad chopped, I recommend you ask them to chop it smaller. My friend ordered hers chopped and it was barely chopped. So I was glad I was able to intercept mine before it was prepared. I don't like it finely chopped but I like the lettuce to be bite-sized, not big pieces. I mean, what's the point of asking for it chopped? Lots of options for add-ins. Most of my friends liked their salads too. Space was lovely, super clean, and the manager who helped us was great. I wish I got her name but she had impressive biceps. Looking at the photos of The Greenery in Sayville, you could say the Islip location is an annex. It's a much smaller space with seating for about 13. I wish the Greenery much success in my neighborhood. Solid eatery for fresh salads, bowls and smoothies. I hope they might participate in 2 Good to Go. :)

Wandered in here very randomly while driving home down Middle Country…read more Went in for breakfast, wound up with a breakfast sandwich and a Reuben for research purposes. The egg sandwich was above average for sure but the star of the show was my pastrami Reuben with Cole slaw. Not an overwhelmingly large sandwich like social media leads everyone to believe is necessary, but it was also only $13.99 which is definitely cheaper than most local places. Side salad and pickle are included and the pickle spear was delicious. The place is immaculate, the staff was very friendly, the man who made my sandwich even asked me to report back on if I like it or not because he said he takes pride in his creations. I will stop in this week to let him know I loved it. There's a massive amount of menu items, it'll take a while to try them all out but there's a few that caught my eye which will require immediate attention. It's hard to find good delis left on the island, this was a great cross between a deli and bagel place. There's a ton of refrigerators with lots of drink choices, there's a salad bar, and of course the sandwich menu. I got to talking with the owner, Mike. Real nice guy, he seems to actually care about his business, and he's got his kids working with him. All around great find, highly recommend!!!!
