If it wasnt for the convenience of the location being located next to the industrial area with everyone in and out for work, this place would probably not be in business. Outdated, stingy with products and i have never been greeted once out of all the times i went there even when it's empty. It's the least of my worries bc I just want the food anyway, but its still important for running a successful business so I just think its strange. The least you can do to someone contributing to your business, is a simple hello. My last order was paying for a egg sandwich with one slice of meat that was cut in half to cover the bread lol. Cheap with product & unfriendly. Charge more if you need too, no need to sell sandwiches at that level. I pay $ to eat what I want, deliver that at LEAST. I picked one star because I had to. We walked in at 2:45 to a very nasty woman demanding our orders almost immediately because they were, "closing jn 15 mins." Don't have a disability or an emotional problem because she will belittle you if you don't place your order the way she'd like you to and don't speak up quite the way she likes. We ordered a French dip hero with dressing on the side, which they have posted in the board. I walked out with cold roast beef on a roll, no mozzarella. My kid ordered a fried chicken sandwich, with no Mayo with pickles. He has to list to her all the toppings like it's not on the board. Mistakes happen but customer service, nah!!! No excuses!!! Don't take your bad day out on me. Don't like your job?! Change professions. Rude and unbelievably nasty. Last time I was there it was okay, this time leaves no room for a third!! I've been here 4 times now. Each time the older employees (owners?) seem to ignore me while attending anyone else that enters after me. The only people that attend me are the younger employees. The older man seems to avoid eye contact with me at all times, the older woman seems to do the same and asked a person behind me (entered 5 minutes after me even) if she needed assistance. Once is a mistake. Twice is a coincidence. Thrice is suspicious. but four times?... Starting to get the feeling the owners might not like certain types of people in their establishment. I was the only customer in the store until two other people walked in for a total of three customers and the two employees got all discombobulated and started arguing. Finally get my sandwich after 10 mins and it came out to almost 7 bucks which is a little pricey even with the $1.25 hashbrown. In there today for the first time. They actually charged $8.91 for a tuna sandwich on a roll with L & T. No chips, No drink. It's no wonder the place was empty. I really wanted to like this place since it's the closest deli to our office, but alas all my experiences there were subpar with just ok food and not a super friendly atmosphere created by the staff. Then, I had TWO separate unfortunate incidents there that now make me never want to go back again. First, I bought a bottle of soda that I didn't realize until I left had a broken seal and I had to throw it out. I would've gone back to return it, but there was never a good opportunity so I let that one go. The 2nd incident happened yesterday when we ordered a large lunch order for our staff over the phone and our receptionist went to pick up the order. I had ordered a mixed green salad ($6.50 on the website) but they had given me one with goat cheese and cranberries that I did not order and charged my credit card $9.23! When I went back today to kindly ask for a refund of my $2, the manager blamed it on our employee who picked up the order saying she must've picked that one out on her own. I tried to explain that I don't think that was the case, but he insisted. And I also called him out for charging $8.50 for a small bowl of lettuce and handful of cranberries and goat cheese. He would not budge and said, "$1 for cranberries, $1 for goat cheese...that's the price." Well sir, I hope that $2 was worth it to you to lose my business and the business of my company. He should reconsider his customer service approach and realize that if you work in the service industry, your goal should be to make your customers happy so they keep coming and spending. I'm leaving one unhappy customer and one that's not afraid to share her opinions to others in the neighborhood as well. read more

Where to start. I've been ordering the same sandwich at least once a week for the last month and a half. Literally every time I've been charged a different price for the exact same sandwich my. Second I always order extra bacon. Usually it's there, the last two times it's been short. I called to complain the second time and instead of giving me a credit for the bacon next time or offering to put more on, they basically called me a liar and said they put 8 full strips of bacon...4 strips..cut in half. Is not 8 strips of bacon. I wish this let me upload photos of the sandwich. I'll be going across the street to chicos deli from now on.
