The owner of the businessman is definitely NOT a people person. I wanted it towed to Lancaster, which he refused to do. That was OK, it was a Saturday afternoon. What was not OK is the tone in which he talked to my daughter in law. My DIL is black and in full view of the public he humiliated her and she was actually scared of him. She was glad when my daughter and SIL got there to take her and the children home. When we went to pay for the towing, about two words were exchanged. He added extra charges on the bill, for what I don't know. Our heads were still reeling from all that happened. If you need a tow call ANYBODY ELSE, not him.

I called AAA and they sent me a highway service technician from Wayne's Towing in Elizabethtown. Response was timely. Two units responded. One truck ran a signboard while the other provided me services. The whole setup increased the safety on scene exponentially, both for myself and for the technician servicing my vehicle. My service tech Emoni made our experience a pleasant one. Despite my concerns that my manhood was in question, having run out of gas on a date with my wife, Emoni kept things humorous and light and gave me the ribbing I deserved, without being condescending or rude. He made an otherwise frustrating situation a moment to laugh. He was very cautious and watched traffic as he worked. He got me going and pointed me in the direction of a gas station. He was respectful of my vehicle, brought the right equipment to fill my cap less fuel system, and didn't spill a drop on my vehicle. Our tow operators are some of the most under appreciated folks out there. Please, when you see a tow operator, move over and slow down. Proceed with caution. I went in the next day to pick up my car at 11:20am and there was a handwritten sign hanging on the window where the attendant is supposed to be saying "Be back at 1pm"... I called her and asked where she was, she told me she was "running errands". Long story short, this place won't last that long but I thought I'd throw up a review for the hell of it. The truck drivers are terrible workers too. Very unfriendly people. Enjoy business while it can.

I had a pretty bad experience with Dalton's towing. I had an unfortunate accident with my truck due…read moreto a burst brake line. Dalton's towed it back to their place while I tried to figure out where to send it. I let them know later in the day where I needed it sent and they assured me they would have it delivered the next morning if not by the end of the day. About a week goes by and I thought it was strange I hadn't heard anything from the garage where I had it sent. I called them and they told me it was never dropped off. I called Dalton's and they were very unprofessional. They didn't seem concerned at all that 7 days had gone by with my truck sitting in their lot when I had paid for it to be towed the next day. They made no offers to make this up to me. However they did ask who would be paying for the tow and storage fee. At this point, I had already paid almost 400 dollars for ZERO service and they had the nerve to ask for more money. I'm sure there's plenty of other reputable towing services in the area.
