    My steak dinner.
    Steve S.

You really can't miss Ronnie's. It's literally located beneath the city water tower. It is most assuredly a dive bar but it is an inexpensive night out for food and drinks. Where else can you get a $9 steak dinner (strip steak, fries, and bowl of salad). Was it the best steak I ever had.....no. But it was pretty good and it was a steak dinner for $9. The whole menu is pretty inexpensive and the only restaurant I know that serves smelt. They have pretty good daily specials as well.

We had a fun meal. Great atmosphere and food. Reasonable for the area and relaxed for friends and family. Great wings!

The food is somewhat inexpensive but none of it was good. Wasn't bad, wasn't good. Wings were really awful

BTW, RIP to the owner, Ronnie, who we were told had recently died.

We ordered the king pig which has a little bit of everything. There were 5 in our group and this was plenty. We did order some appetizers as well. Everything was delicious. The meat was tender, moist and flavorful. I will definitely come back here whenever i visit again. Lots of parking an across the street.

Coming in on a Tuesday night, the place was busy and the wait was about 30 minutes -- but there was free seating at the bar. Fair enough, not many restaurants were even open in Geneva on a Tuesday. The food was solid -- nothing extraordinary, but nothing to complain about either, and the presentation on those big plates is genuinely fun. The lady bartender had her hands full preparing drinks while also serving everyone seated at the bar, including food orders. It was sometimes hard to catch her attention, but overall she did a great job juggling it all. What really bothered me: the owner (CB) is one of the few Master Sommeliers in the world and a big promoter of the FLX wine region (which I love), so can anyone explain why a glass of FLX wine costs about 40% more than a glass of California or even Australian wine? That's not exactly "Think NY, Drink NY" -- despite those charming stickers around the restaurant (which I do love).
