Great food and wonderful service and staff! Right on Cayuga lake with a great view. Stop by and enjoy this fun place!!

    Supposed to be Haddock?

Lovely lakefront location with friendly staff but unfortunately our food wasn't so good. The nachos special was lacking, like guacamole and some beans would have been nice. Cheese wasn't really melted. The burger was good as was the French onion soup. Fish entree was not well prepared, no sure if it was Haddock as listed because it didn't taste anything like it. Thin fillet came out dusted in Cajun seasoning instead of white wine lemon as advertised. Pasta had fresh ingredients but unfortunately lacked flavor and sat in a pool of oil. Maybe other menu offerings are a better choice. But again the staff and view were great!

A friend and I were doing a day trip around Seneca Falls and Geneva. The reviews sounded pretty good and it was a beautiful day and we knew there was outdoor seating. It was a little busy when we arrived but everyone was sitting outside. We were seated quickly and given menus. It took a while for our server to come over , but we were okay looking over the menu and taking pictures of Cayuga Lake. I ordered a cup of Manhattan Clam Chowder, we ordered the Bang bang Shrimp Appetizer and we both ordered cheeseburgers with a side of the veggie of the day. The sandwiches all come with house made chips. They have several additional sides listed to substitute but the prices seemed a bit high. The vegetable price was reasonable compared to the other sides. The Manhattan Clam Chowder just didn't taste right...it had a very salty spicy taste and I couldn't eat it at all. I told our server and there was no problem and she immediately said she was sorry and would take it right off the check. Our shrimp appetizer was very good and I loved that it was served over fresh lettuce...the crunch was perfect with the spicy shrimp. My cheeseburger was cooked pretty well and I really enjoyed the zucchini and yellow squash. Our server was very nice and the outdoor seats had a covering over the entire deck. I felt the prices were a bit high but I would come back and try other items and enjoy the lake view.

Went for a ride to Seneca Falls and decided to go a little further to try this for lunch. It's a beautiful place overlooking the water and shaded which was perfect for this hot Friday afternoon. The menu was small but decided to share the bang bang shrimp and order a cheeseburger. Our waitress (Alicia) was great and very personable. The shrimp was tasty but not what I was expecting (was not fried and crispy) it was small shrimp steamed with a sauce served on a bed of lettuce. The cheeseburger was cooked medium rare like I asked and was juicy. I really enjoyed the view from our table looking over the water.

The deck with its spectacular view!

The service was absolutely enjoyable! Alicia was great, one of the best! The food was delicious and well prepared! The view was Epic! Absolutely on our going there again list!

It is an unassuming, cute place run by a husband and wife who fill the space with warmth, friendship and delicious food. We ordered crab cakes over rice and butter crumb haddock over rice. Both were delicious and generous. The crab cakes were flavorful and filling. The remoulade was the perfect accompaniment to the crab, adding a nice hit of spice and acidity. The haddock was perfectly prepared--the butter crumb topping had just the right spicy kick to elevate the haddock to a high level. Both dishes were accompanied by a generous portion of homemade rice pilaf that rounded out the dishes. They were also accompanied by some delicious bib lettuce. The next time we go, we'll ask for a bit more bibb lettuce that gave the seafood a welcome brightness (try wrapping the seafood and rice in the lettuce--so good!!) Both dishes were very generous in size. The menu (attached) has many great-sounding sides that we didn't have room for, but we plan to return to try the collard greens, Cole slaw, cheesecake as well as the pulled pork sandwich, seasoned chicken sandwich and roasted brisket, which we caught delicious whiff of being smoked outside as we left. We are looking forward to our next visit!

The mixed salad was just a generic greens salad you'd find at a buffet. The crab cakes had bits of hard shell bits I've never experienced in a crab cakes. The scallops are for some reason left in a sauce in a ramekin, meaning they kept cooking, meaning these were the most overcooked, rubbery, hard to choke down scallops I've had in my life. We didn't finish our meal. What a rough experience across the board. There's much better food in town for similar price points / fine dining ambiance, this is the one bad experience of our whole trip to the lake

As always, it is a great environment with dining room, patio or sunroom options. Wine or beer only, and wine prices are quite reasonable. We ordered a wonderful bottle of rose, served chilled and crisp and with just the right amount of sweetness. I ordered port wine mushroom bisque, perfectly made and creamy. For an entree I had shrimp scampi, garlicky and lemony and fabulous with a plethora of Large shrimp. We had to order dessert to share since they had coconut custard pie. Out of this world.

The florals and scenery outside the restaurant are beautiful, so I would def recommend sitting outside unless you're squeamish around flying bugs (because there were a lot). For a large party, we put down a $150 deposit which was then deducted from our final bill. We didn't need to do a prix fixe menu which was good, so we just ordered off the regular menu. There were a lot of beverage options and food options. I personally loved the arancini appetizer. I ordered the breakfast panini as my entree which was just okay -- not very flavorful but it filled me up. Afterwards, we got to take photos in front of their flowers. All in all, I would recommend if you're in the area!

It's a very casual cafe located at Knapp Winery (but in a separate building from the tasting room for Knapp). It has a pretty patio (we sat outside and enjoyed the space), which has views of the winery, and the service was very friendly and helpful. The outside dining space and the service were definitely the highlights of our meal. I wouldn't say the menu is very thrilling - I might describe it as standard cafe fare; for some reason, it reminded me of menus you'd find at cafes at museums or other similar attractions. We shared a starter - their bruschetta crostini (tomatoes marinated in a balsamic, olive oil, basil, and garlic mixture, and topped with balsamic glaze. It was okay. The crostini were cut very unevenly, and the taste was too strong for me on the balsamic glaze. I had the Vineyard Chicken Salad wrap with chicken breast, apples, craisins, celery, onion, lettuce, and provolone. It was also just okay - sort of average chicken salad in a wrap, something I could definitely make at home. My husband had their grille cheese panini (with seasoned tomatoes, gruyere, smoked gouda, and sourdough), and he definitely liked this more than I enjoyed the food I tried. Overall, the food just wasn't very interesting, but I do think that it has a lovely outdoor space and the service was great, too.
