More like 3 1/2 stars. We knew we were going out to dinner and wanted something "light" for lunch. I'd seen this place in this plaza when we'd come to another restaurant nearby and book marked it. And noted that they featured slices of pizza. There are a few tables inside, but they also do a lot of takeout here. They do deliveries for a $3 fee and with a $10 minimum order to a limited section of town. We decided to order a couple slices and eat inside. There's no "ambiance" -- just the tables and chairs, a soda cooler, a TV, and a few painted walls. And the counter where you order, of course. They have several slice specials -- some with just cheese and some with pepperoni or special toppings. They have a printed menu as well as a menu board above the counter. We each had their two-slice special of cheese pizza and added a soda. The pizza was delivered hot from the oven. Each slice was large and pretty good. Pricewise it was inexpensive. It was satisfying. And just what we were hoping for lunch. They do have more than pizza on their menu. Appetizers, salads, burgers, chicken wings, hoagies. calzones, and pasta. We saw a large takeout order with a bit of everything being picked up while we were eating. Glad we came to try them. We now know where to go if we want a quick and inexpensive slice of pizza for lunch. read more

I have to say Ronnie's has great pizza slices at a very reasonable price! Located in the Woodhaven Plaza just off Foresthill and Kirk road, it is a popular place for a quick and tasty lunch. We each had the Two Slice Cheese Pizza which was heated and served just right. The cheese and sauce are a good blend on top of a great pizza pie. Glad we stopped in! read more

Great pizza! Stopped in for a couple of slices and a soda and they have a lunch special until about 4pm. Had two slices of cheese and liked the ratio of cheese to sauce. Thin slices warmed up to hot! The first bite of the first slice was nice and hot. It didn't burn the roof of my mouth, but almost!! I like that! You could always wait a minute. The place is clean and the pizza came out fast. Excellent pizza and wings! Ronnie's has become my local go-to. Friendly staff. Delivery always made on time, as per their estimate, and everything arrives hot! The pizza crust is cooked well: crispy crust but the bottoms aren't hard/tough; has a good chew. There isn't an overwhelming amount of sauce or grease, so the cheese and toppings are able to be tasted and enjoyed. I have had regular cheese, pepperoni, mushroom/onion, and supreme pizzas from Ronnie's, so far, and I have enjoyed each one! I always request chicken wings to be well done, wherever I order them, and Ronnie's cooks them perfectly to the point of a crisp skin (that the wing sauce softens so slightly) but still moist interior. Their chicken wing hot sauce is also great. Besides pizza and wings, I recommend their Greek salad or pasta with vodka sauce. So good! I have also tried the fettucine alfredo, but I do not recommend it because the sauce had separated by the time it was delivered and it was not as flavorful (seasoning needed maybe?) as everything else I have tried. read more

I used to be a fairly regular at Appicella's Pizza which was in the same spot, soI figured I would give Ronnie's a try. I enjoyed Ronnie's cheese slice, which was quite thin and the sauce was tasty. I also got a pepperoni slice but the pepperoni, to me, was nothing special and reminded me why I don't often get pepperoni. It has to be very good quality or it's just not good. Also, the slices are small, even for a 2 slice lunch special. What I did miss was Appicella's friendly greetings and smiles. They used to make a point of making you feel welcome. Not so at Ronnie's. Not UNfriendly, just very matter-of-fact, which doesn't make you want to try them again (unless the food is spectacular.) Iwill check back in and maybe I'll be able to add a star or two. So I was looking for a pizza place near my friend's apartment. This place was open until 10 unlike many places nearby. I was craving mozzarella sticks and pizza for dinner. The mozzarella sticks came out pretty fast and they were yummy. Hot and crispy and gooey lol. The sauce was really good too. I ordered a small pie with mushrooms and pepperoni but because they were out of dough for small pies, we were given a medium pie at no extra charge. Pretty cool of them. The pizza was piping hot but fortunately not too hot that the cheese falls right off, lol I hate that. The crust was thin, which I prefer and it had plenty of sauce on it. The girl at the counter helping us was very friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back to try some other items and they have a 2 slice special until 4 pm. When I called I was told, "That's the way we make it now. We just changed, this week". I am waiting for a delivery of a TRADITIONAL Margherita. I was informed that if I didn't want the red sauce, I should order it that way in the future. I got my NEW pizza in about 25 minutes and it was made as I wanted. What a joke and a poor representation of Italian food.I am giving it one star because it was technically food. I will never eat here again. Update: Owner reached out to me and offered to try again. Stated there was a problem with a cook burning everything. I did not try it again. Sorry. Once bitten, twice shy.
