Cory took a look at my tires, two of them low. One in such a state that he wouldn't refill it. We got them on the schedule same day to be replaced. Thanks to the program I bought with them when I got the tires (way back when) he told me to replace them would only be $30-ish per tire to replace. What a relief. And he took care of some things too. Once they got it up and got the tires off and looked inside, it was learned that there wasn't truly an issue. They replaced the valve stems and sent me on my way. For reason he kept skipping me for my order kept serving other people that were after me. As I tried to be nice asking him if he knew how much time he had a rude attitude and answer. Unfortunately he didn't have a name tag but he was African American and making the pizzas.

Online pricing estimated about $1,700 after tax and installation, so we booked an 8am appointment for Saturday, Nov. 1st. He arrived early, yet the truck wasn't finished until 12pm because they were "running behind" -- which they said to nearly every customer. Then told us it was going to be $2,100. They claimed he needed new tire pressure sensors because of the larger tires but never disclosed the $80-per-sensor cost beforehand. After driving away, the steering wheel vibrated at anything over 50mph. We scheduled a follow-up on Tuesday, Nov. 4th to have the tires rebalanced, but when we arrived, they tried to charge us again. After refusing to pay since we JUST got the tires, we got the truck back only to find out they had rotated the tires instead of rebalancing them. To top it off, the front desk tech spoke to us like we didn't know what we were talking about, refused the balance request, and snapped, "Well, we didn't tell you to get the tires." Absolutely unprofessional. Now we're dealing with yet another issue: the tire pressure sensor light shows one tire at 28 PSI, but a manual gauge reads 37 PSI. We tried adding air to reach the recommended 37 PSI, but the machine automatically stopped because the tire was already full. Clearly something wasn't installed or calibrated correctly. We won't be returning. We wish we had paid attention to all the other negative reviews -- could've saved ourselves a lot of time, money, and frustration.

Whoever put the HUD cap back on the truck, put it on over the valve stem after getting the HUD cap off we found that best one did not replace any of the valve stems. They just left the old ones on which is a complete hazard as we found out those maybe $.50 each easy to install. Nearly cost my life or the motorcycle guy his life.

Jason answered and could not have been more friendly, helpful, and reassuring. We were about 20 minutes away from their location on 4411 Quality Drive. They were going to be closing in about an hour, but took us right away. Every one of the employees were very friendly and helpful, and the store was super clean. We thought we were going to need a whole new tire, but they were able to patch up our tire and we were on our way in less than an hour. I really wish we had such a place in Chicago!

Both time we had it tested at auto zone and had the print out with the codes and what was wrong with them. Zolman's charged us $130 each time to retest the codes to be sure that was what was wrong. Today I had the check engine light come on and had auto zone test it and was told I had a bad oil pressure switch. I went to Zolman's and told them I just wanted to buy the part and have it put on. They refused to do it without testing again. I told them i wasn't paying $130 for them to just to tell me what I already knew. Again i had the print out with what part I needed and the computer codes. They refused to touch the van unless I paid them $130 to do their own test. It's a scam. They use the exact same code reader that auto zone uses. You plug it in let it read the computer and then plug it into your pc to get the readouts. Takes less than 5 minutes but they want to charge you $130 to do that. I've never seen a mechanic that refuses to just put a part on if you specifically ask for the part by name and tell them not to do a computer check 1st. It's just an upcharge to get them more money. Took it to another garage and they were happy to fix it and not charge to retest something that didn't need retesting. So shop around if you don't want to waste an extra $130 for something any auto zone will do for free.
