The roofers came within a good timeframe and cleaned up well but there were issues. I called the company back and sent a couple of pictures. It took a few days but soon two professionals from Buffalo's Best showed and took the time to really listen and address my concerns. We all thought taking care of the issues would only take a couple of hours, but it turns out we were all wrong. They found additional problems that were caused by the previous homeowner, thus for no extra charge (shocking!) the kind, hardworking men fixed it by working a 10-12 hour day. By the time they were done the part of the roof that was sagging had new plywood and looked straight and true! I am so happy with the job and my roof. Thanks Buffalo's Best Josh and Scott!

They were there for issues I had been having when it rained, and on this particular morning, I hadn't seen it was raining - but I heard! I thought someone was breaking in, but it was the damn roof again!! Raining in my living room - not good! I was crying as much as it was dripping! I was getting more and more frustrated, had many people coming to help and give me prices, but as the old saying goes: "Action speaks louder than words", and they just never really followed through or showed up. I was desperate. It just so happened, by some random stroke of luck, I had scheduled an appointment that very morning with Joe White, salesman for Buffalo's Best. I was simply curious about them. Joe came in to see exactly what and where my issue was and knew it needed to be fixed sooner than later. Everyone told me to get more estimates on the job, but I felt Joe's price was fair for what I needed and the reviews I read were encouraging. Joe gave me hope and I trusted him, and so I said "Let's please just Git-R-Done" .... On Monday, October 27th, an amazing 'team' showed up, under the supervision of Domenic D'Angelo, and worked diligently from 8 AM to 5:30 PM. I needed a complete roof tear off and reinstallation. I was certain there was no way it could be done so quickly, but it was almost like magic! By dinner time, I had a beautiful new roof, everything was cleaned up and put back nicely, and to anyone who wasn't around on my street that day - they would never have known so much activity had taken place here. I was and still am in awe! The peace of mind alone is priceless. I cannot put a price tag on the feeling of security, after decades upon decades, that my roof is intact and leaks are a thing of the past, at least for the duration of my lifetime. I have a warranty transferable when I sell my house, and the assurance that if there are any problems whatsoever, Buffalo's Best Roofing will come to my aid and assistance immediately. It's not like doing business with a business, it's like making a new friend who I can trust and build a lasting relationship with. It all started with a new roof! I'm so appreciative to Buffalo's Best Roofing that I'm definitely going to get prices for new windows and doors come spring. Why not? My experience with this company was extremely disappointing because I was dealing with a warranty repair, not an optional new service call. That should have made the process straightforward. Instead, the experience felt like avoidance, defensiveness, and poor customer service. When a business provides a warranty, that warranty should mean something. It is not just language used to close a sale. It is a commitment that if something goes wrong during the covered period, the business will take the issue seriously, inspect the problem in good faith, communicate professionally, and make a reasonable effort to resolve it. Rather than being helpful or responsive, they were rude and dismissive. The tone was not that of a company trying to stand behind its work or honor its obligations. It felt like they were looking for reasons to brush off the issue, minimize the concern, and avoid responsibility. That is especially frustrating when the customer has already paid and is only asking the business to address a covered problem. The communication was poor, the attitude was unprofessional, and the handling of the warranty issue was unacceptable. A warranty repair should not require the customer to chase the business, argue to be taken seriously, or tolerate dismissive treatment. If a customer reports a problem, the response should be prompt and respectful. Instead, this experience made it seem like customer service ended once payment was received. Problems can happen with any job. What matters is how the business responds. A reputable company addresses warranty issues directly, communicates clearly, and treats the customer with basic respect. Based on my experience, I would not use them again and would not recommend them. Save yourself the frustration and hire someone else.

I reached…read moreout for at least two other quotes, and while the other quotes were competitive what made Black Rock stand out was Joe's continued persistence and communication. The quotes were all very similar. The biggest unknown with this particular roof was the damaged plywood underneath. Communication was clear that the quote included 5 sheets of plywood and anything above that would cost more. Well, unfortunately - we did indeed have to have more than those 5 sheets and they came in at a hefty $85/sheet. A bit more than some of the other quotes received. All in all, I paid about $900 more than initially quoted, but the communication throughout the process was good and the quality of workmanship seems great. Hopefully won't have to do this again soon. Also, I live in California so being able to manage this process remotely was amazing and thus a vendor with great communication was much needed. Thank you to the staff at Black Rock Roofing! Hired for gutter repair work…read more CW construction replied quickly. They came out and gave me an estimate where a competitor wanted to come out and do the work but wouldn't give me a ball park number first. Others didn't respond. The weather caused the appointment to be pushed multiple times (snow and high speed winds which is what caused the damage in the first place), but the work is done and the gutter appears very secure now. Pricing seemed reasonable for the time and materials used. They were friendly and open to various payment options. The estimate came slightly under the quote, (rounding distance so very slight) which is always nice. Notes: I know it's hard being a contractor and taking calls while working, but more prompt notifications about appointments being moved would be nice. Communication wasn't timely but I had the sense that there wasn't a home office fielding work, so I'm certainly more understanding. Hard to be timely when you're dangling from roofs trying to get work down before the next storm wave. They were certainly better than some other contractors I recently worked with.

They also gave a discount to my husband for being a veteran. We were very pleased with them. They told us about when we would be on their schedule and then called us a week ahead of time to let us know they would be coming the following week. We did ask them to hold off for a day and we were fine with it. They gave us a full set of instructions on how to protect all our belongings from any damage that might happen while the roof was being replaced. The roofers came and did the work and cleaned up after themselves. After the job was completed the president of the company came out and evaluated the job and let us know of any little problems he noticed and told us a crew would be out to address them. It would be some of the smallest things like the roof looked slightly indented in one spot. We were really pleased with this professionalism and felt Stockmohr really had our best interest in mind. It's been a number of months now and our roof seems to be perfect!

However, TMP Allpro Services was different. Their communication about the team's arrival, the duration of the work, and the additional tasks they undertook demonstrated their true character. Their work ethic and the quality of their work are truly impressive. So far, they have completed five jobs for our home, ranging from painting our fences to refurbishing our large deck. After job was done was told , need new flue ... after waiting for that estimate finally received it $2500 more after paying $2800 for the chimney ... Had that company come over beforehand look at chimney never told me it needed a flue ... Also they reused old tin cap and assembly on top and now it looks bent after reinstall ! Just can't believe $2800 for 5 hours work , what do bricks and a little mortar cost ? Grant it something I can't do , only because of my age ! Understand costs of running a business and making a profit and having a couple of 25 year old kids , I expected at least a whole new tin cap and everything new ... Should have been told about flue as when the chimney was first looked at .... All I can say do homework get a few more estimates ! Will get other quotes on a flue !

He was paid in full and "forgot" the receipt. He promised several times to provided it. The receipt is needed for me clear up the permit issue which he should have pulled before starting the job. He was wonderful with working alongside my insurance company because we had to make a claim after a terrible hail storm. He was able to fit us in his schedule super quickly, calling us to let us know when he had an earlier opening and if we were ready to have them work right away. He and his crew stormed in here and replaced the entire roof and added brand new gutters on my two-story house in a day and a half. We couldn't believe how fast they got everything done, including stripping the old roof. The work was wonderful, the crew was polite, they were good about clean up, and Tom showed up after it was over to go over all the improvements, explain what was done, and talk to us again about how we finalize payment with the insurance company. A+ all around. We have recommended him to many other people in our town, and both our neighbor next door and a neighbor across the street had their roofs done by them as well, and are also very happy with the results!
