Roof Advisor performed our reroof very quickly and efficiently; they were very clean and removed all debris from the work site. They protected our landscape so as not to damage the landscaping near the home. I did have a minor concern, but, Erik their general supervisor handled it the very next day. Do not hire this company. We had nothing but trouble getting the job done. We were given multiple days of coming to do the job and it was changed at least three times. They misrepresented the quality of the shingles. We were told they were the same quality as we had and they weren't. We ordered one color and later told we had to order another color. Our neighbor used the same company and we were assured they were not waiting to do both jobs on the same day. We had our order in ahead of theirs and guess what, both were done in one day. My husband had to go over to the roofers and say, we are first. We were charged for the dumpster rental as was our neighbors and we shared the one dumpster. It was just one thing after another with this company. When the roofers finally showed up the job they did was so-so. There were ripples in the roof edge and we asked them to fix it. It was because we had metal gutter guards on our gutters. So instead of taking the time to do the job correctly, they cut them! Yes, cut them. It voided our warranty and ended up costing us an additional $475 to replace them. Roof Advisor offered to install some cheap plastic ones, telling us that was industry standard and my own research proved that to be untrue. They would have been down the street the first storm we had. By the time the roofers arrived I had lost all confidence in this company, but the supplies had been sitting on our roof for weeks. The supplies were delivered, the shingles put on the roof and the accessories next to the house. It was taking so long after delivery my senior husband had to move it to the garage so it wouldn't be damaged or stolen. It was over two months from the first date we were given until the poor work was done. No permits were filed and we had to ask for that to be done. We had to remind the roofers that the vent needed to be installed, they were in the dumpster. There was poor communication, poor salemanship, poor information related, and just a poor company in all. The company who came to replace the gutter guards said we should send a copy of the bill to Roof Advisor because it was appalling what they did. No reputable company would do this. So, there you have it. No, we did not send the bills because we know it would do no good. Save yourself the aggravation and go with another company. read more

Totally happy. There were issues with the installation but they were immediately addresses and resolved. You don't find many companies that are as customer oriented as Roof Advisor is. This was our 3rd roof in 22 years. I wish we had them install the first one . as was explained to me our roof baked to death because of poor circulation. They also found an area that was not properly ice guarded and that wss the reason for a leak we have had forever. They may not be the cheapest but remember you pay for what you get! read more

Very impressed with the work and the customer service! Great communication throughout the process. Everyone I interacted with was professional, pleasant, and accommodating even though we had to reschedule twice at our request. (We were having three leaking skylights removed and roofed over. It was too cold to have a three gaping holes in the roof.) When they removed our skylights it was still quite cold. Paul did them one at a time and quickly boarded each hole so there was minimal heat loss. Chris came to do the initial inspection and gave us a couple of options. The priced quote was detailed and quite reasonable. Being able to Docusign the contract and pay online were also perks. I highly recommend! read more

RoofAdvisor has just resolved a leaking roof problem that has plagued us for over 30 years! In 1986, we purchased a home with a minor roof leak, in the attached garage, that the previous owner claimed he could fix before we took possession. He couldn't fix it. It continued to leak whenever the rain blew in from the north. When the roof was ready for replacement 5 years later (1992), we paid a brand name roofing company to install a second layer of shingles, believing they would be able to fix the leak. However, their efforts failed to resolve the problem. Given this experience, we were very apprehensive about consulting more roofing contractors. Over the years, we tried various do-it-yourself "repairs" which slowed the leak, but did not stop it. More years passed and water damage slowly accrued. Recently, two more leaks sprang to life. Now what should we do? Desperate, we recently contacted a well advertised, multi-faceted home improvement company, and asked for them to come out and advise us. An appointment was scheduled, but they didn't show up. Their 800-number salesperson told us they couldn't fix problem roofs like ours, and that we should have a roof inspection performed. Not quite the answer we expected, but it turned out to be good advice. We Googled "roof inspectors", and discovered RoofAdvisor. After speaking with a RoofAdvisor project manager, an appointment was made with a roof inspector to conduct a thorough, free inspection. He carefully checked everything, inside and out, and provided us with a compressive report of his findings. He predicted that there was something wrong with the installation of one or more flash cards behind the siding above the leak. He assured us that the root cause could be confirmed after a tear off of the two layers of old shingles, and the then fixed as part of a new roof installation. Other than the leaks, the old shingles were holding up well after 25 years, but nearing expected end of life. Decision time. Anxious to have the leaks resolved, we decided to consider immediate roof replacement. After bringing us up-to-date on roofing technology and materials, he let us pick a shingle style/color and warranty that was the best match for our budget and quality expectations. He then prepared an on-the-spot cost estimate which we were relieved to find affordable. We believe it is much less than we would have paid elsewhere. The next day, the RoofAdvisor project manager called to schedule the drop off of a dumpster for the tear-off debris, and roof delivery of the new roofing materials for the following Wednesday. The roofing crew was scheduled for the following two days. Upon the roofing crew's arrival, we were relieved when the foreman confirmed that he had reviewed the inspector's analysis, and was aware of our concerns. He expressed confidence in their ability to determine root cause and resolve all leaks. As predicted by the roof inspector, the roofing crew discovered that a flash card was missing in the original construction. After replacing water damaged wood, new flash cards were installed and the new shingles installed. What a relief! Despite the cold weather, the crew worked very hard for two days to complete the roof replacement, and conducted a thorough cleanup. The waste dumpster was picked up the following day. If we're still alive in 30 years, we'll plan on going with RoofAdvisor again. Meanwhile, we will recommend RoofAdvisor to others. Thank you Elise, Chris, Jim, and the hard working crew! If you are in the market for a new roof, or like us had a tree fall on a part of your roof, and needed a repair done, these are the people to call!!! VERY PROFESSIONAL! Chris came and did a preliminary inspection, and was VERY pleasant! They brought a dumpster & roofing supplies when they said they would and even did part of the repair on a cold, rainy day! They were true to their word on everything they promised. After the job was done, Chris came back to inspect & make sure we were satisfied customers! He even used a magnet to pick up tthe nails left on the ground, (this was an extra we were very pleased with)! If you need some advice on what to do with your roof, call Roof Advisor!
