At the time, about 5years ago, I was not ready for re-roofing my home, cause I was informed that my roof asphalt shingles were still good. and decided to postpone it. I also walked around the neighborhood and see FBC trucks doing my neighbors houses, in Kapolei. Fast forward in 2025, I decided it was time to re-roof my house, cause I seen asphalt granules on the ground, and I know it came from my roof top, when it rains heavy. I gave them a call and asked for the surfer dude, Ben, who's on the cover of that flyer left on my doorknob, many years ago. Right away, through the power of advertising, they know who i was talking about. Unfortunately, Ben has moved on to open his own roofing company and was referred to Kyle. Due to work conflict schedule, I met him on a Sunday midmorning. Kyle to his ladder and climbed on my roof, to take pictures, take measurements and do a quick assessment. Afterwards, he gave me his verbal summary of what he saw, and took pictures, which he shown me and appeared very knowledgeable about roofing. Later, he emailed me his proposal, in which I could see was very reasonable and competitive with the other guys. It was approximately 10 years ago, I had a roof leak and was frantically looking for someone to repair it. After calling several companies who didn't return my calls, I got in contact with Charles (Chuck) Wooten. He dropped by early the following morning and within minutes, my roof was repaired. Expecting a costly bill, I was pleasantly surprised by the very reasonable charge. I called on Chuck and Bonnie repeatedly over the years to fix my leaks as they happened and each time they did a fantastic job. This past week, I heard a dripping noise coming from the attic. Yep, there was a leak. I immediately called Chuck and early the next morning, he and Bonnie took care of the problem. Chuck told me the root of my problem was the placement of my gutter downspout. My contractor referred this company to me and made arrangements…read morewith Cecilio (owner) to provide an estimate to have gutters installed on my house. Cecilio came over, checked my property and later gave an estimate for the job. I then hired this company to install gutters on my house. Later, I noticed an unusually high amount of leaking from my gutters. I also noticed a screw ripping out of my tile wall causing a hole. I then noticed that the down spout was installed backwards. One corner of the gutter is leaking so loud that my neighbor thought it was coming from his house. There are more issues.... I contacted the company and spoke to an employee Megan, who explained the job was conducted by an unauthorized family member. She sent someone over to take a look. The employee came and said they couldn't do anything about the faulty installation and gave the same excuse as Megan did about a family member doing the work. I contacted her again and informed her that I paid with a personal check written to "A to Z Roofing," not to the so called unauthorized family member. I also requested to speak with Cecilio (owner), since the company had already received and deposited my payment. Megan later emails me saying someone would come out on a Monday and asked, if this was ok? I emailed her back responding, yes, and asked, what time? There was no response back from Megan. Monday comes, and no one shows up or contacts me to inform me that they will not be coming to our agreed upon appointment. As a result, I called the company and left them a voice message. I called again, and once again, no one answered. Then, I had someone call soon after and Megan answered the phone. It appears that they have blocked my phone number or recognize my number and are avoiding my phone calls. Also, they do not accept calls from blocked numbers. Initially, I expressed to Megan that I was willing to work with the company to resolve the issues I had with the company's poor, sub-standard workmanship. The check was written out to "A to Z Roofing" and was deposited by "A to Z Roofing." Therefore, they are ultimately responsible for correcting the many installation errors that was installed by them. But instead, they are just taking my money and ignoring my calls and emails. Obviously, it is clear based on their avoidance behaviors, and the fact that they have made no effort to rectify this problem, that they are not intending to resolve this problem in a professional and ethical matter. If you are thinking of using this company for anything, THINK AGAIN!!
