I first hired Kurt to do a privacy fence for me which unfortunately we could not get a permit for so we had him stain our deck instead. He advised us of the best stain to go with and made sure we knew and understood everything about the process. Our home is only a year old but it was time to get the deck protected and he made sure this was long term. The deck is just beautiful. It stands out so much in our neighborhood. We have had leaf filter installed on our home twice! Crazy hu? The Iowa Deracho damaged our roof…read moreand long story short we had to have our Leaf Filter gutters Re-installed. Total spend in 5 years approximately $20K. We have been in contact with the Grimes branch since our second installation. We have an area at the back of our home that needs a miter or different solution because even when cleaned weekly, we have a 3 story waterfall that is washing our yard out. They have sometimes ignored us or said they were sending someone and then they sent someone to our home about a month ago. I was home but working and didn't get to see the finished solution until after the technician left. Besides wanting to charge us $95 for a visit that was an unresolved problem from installation - the tech put 3 random pieces of metal together with screws - and placed it in the corner of the roof line where we had the issue. So this is what you get once your system is installed. Poor service and even worse (and ugly) solution to our problem. Oh their "solution" doesn't work. We would NOT recommend LeafFilter because of the lack of customer service once your system is installed.

The works that came were fast and efficient. They made a mess with the leaves on the ground. They left dirty hand prints on my white gutters and house. I asked the sales guy if he was coming to check the workers, he said no. I had the workers come back and pick up all the leaves and clean the dirty hands prints off the house.
