Even when I wasn't interacting with anyone, they seemed determined to find a reason to remove me. The situation quickly escalated when my friend briefly stepped away to go to the bar. One guard grabbed my arm and attempted to force me out. When I calmly explained that I would leave voluntarily, they responded by violently dragging me across the club, causing cuts on my legs and feet. Another guard suddenly appeared to assist in the assault, making it unmistakably clear that I had been deliberately targeted the entire night. At the door, they threw me out and even tossed one of my sandals at me, shouting, "Good luck finding your other sandals." When I requested to speak with a manager, I was met with complete dismissal. The manager, a woman, attempted to downplay and invalidate my experience by claiming I was "being emotional," despite my calm, factual explanations and even showing her the injuries I had sustained. I had paid for entry, just like any other customer, yet she treated me as if I did not belong. She told me I "didn't need to be quizzing her," insisted she didn't have time to discuss the matter, and directed me to email instead. She defended the security staff's actions, absurdly asserting that I had "given them a reason to use force," and claimed she had "seen the whole situation play out," even though it was clear she had not witnessed the incidents. Although I had been escorted into the section by two different guests on the list, she repeatedly insisted that I did not belong there. THIS IS NOT A MINOR MISUNDERSTANDING--it was unreasonable, targeted, and violent behavior executed under the guise of "security." Management's response was dismissive, defensive, and insulting. I left injured, humiliated, and shaken. I CANNOT STRESS ENOUGH how DANGEROUS and HOSTILE this venue is. AVOID AT ALL COST.

They served alcoholic beverages and a limited menu which was accessed from a QR code. The prices were listed alongside the dish. We had 2 orders of burger sliders, hummus and fries. We had no complaints with the food or service. When we received our check, however, we were surprised to see that the prices were significantly higher than what was listed on the menu. They overcharged charged us $15 more for the burgers, $3 more for the hummus and $3 more for the fries for a total of $21! When you add the included service charge and tax, we were being overcharged almost $30! Did management think we would not notice? Did they manage to successfully cheat other customers who didn't scrutinize their checks? What was most appalling was that the clientele was primarily Black. We questioned the discrepancy and our server went to a manager to correct the check. Had we not done that, we would have left the venue having been cheated by an unscrupulous business. We certainly will not patronize this establishment again and for anyone who does, I caution you to thoroughly examine your check for accuracy.

Unfortunately (and it was possibly our own mistake) we did end up accidentally double tipping (40%) so it was pretty expensive for this and a water bottle. My part of the bill came up to 22.40$ for the frozen marg ($13)+ water bottle ($3) + our accidental double gratuity. They do have automatic gratuity of 20% which I support, just make sure you really read the bill when they come around with the card reader you make sure the math adds up.
