They had an amazing bed on sale (the Sealy Posturpedic -Plus Determination II Ultra Firm" bed). I have 3 herniated & slipped discs & 2 annular cracks in my spine (from a bad car wreck where I was plowed into on my driver's side at 40mph). & I have had such a terrible time searching for a new mattress. I went to Morrell's in Gainesville for their going-out-of-business sale, but couldn't find anything affordable. So, I had to get a floor model for $300 (half off), but it was a memory foam mattress, & if you know anything about memory foam beds with no coils, it is that they wear out within 10-12 months (or less!). I had the worse time sleeping from December '21-February '22 that I never want to go through that nightmare again! I couldn't afford anything until mid January, & the mattress I got from Morrell's helped me for a month, before it started getting too soft. & I had bought a mattress from Ashley's , but it wasn't firm enough,, so I had to go through their nightmare of a process of returning it (donating it to get a refund-takes 7 weeks to get refund-nightmare! I do not recommend Ashely's Home store ever!! Terrible!) But then, I found "Sleep Center"! I have to go to the chiropractor every 2 weeks religiously for years, & he told me to try "Sleep Center". He said they were the best in Gainesville, & he was right! He wrote me an Rx letter prescribing a good bed, so I could get the taxes omitted. I was scared they wouldn't accept it if the bed was on sale (bc Morrell's didnt), but they did! & I'm on a tight budget, so it really helped! My Sealy bed was $1299, usually $2200+. AND Sleep Center gave me a FREE foundation!! I told them Morell's sold me one that was missing a piece, with only 3 sides, so he gave me a $250 foundation no charge! How nice is that!!! I'm STOKED with them! They're AMAZING!! & then, on top of that, they drove my bed out to me in the country (in Graham/Hampton, near Waldo, way out in the woods) for FREE!! & they picked up my old mattress & foundation! Im a Sleep Center customer for LIFE!! Never been happier. If you're in the market for a new bed, give them a try! Seriously!! & if you need a firm bed, bc you have a bad neck &/or back, like me, try this bed out! It's actually firm, with some padding. Never been happier! (& I have 30 days to return it for something better if I don't like it, & I would just pay the difference in price.) too cool! All around 5 Stars I'd give them 6, if I could!! (I went to the one on nw 39th, but I'm sure all of the Sleep Centers are amazing!!) Oh, & btw, NO pressure with sales tactics. They didn't follow me out to the car, like other mattress stores. (& Mattress Firm is awful too, btw, speaking of high pressure sale tactics.) Nothing tops "Sleep Center"-seriously.

Today I visited Mattress Firm in Gainesville because I was shopping for a new bed. I started by first looking online for sales since it is Presidents Day weekend. I came across Mattress Firm and saw they had a few stores located in Gainesville, so I decided to go in today and check them out. When I arrived I was instantly greeted by Micki who was an amazing sales rep and did a wonderful job from the moment I met her, until I left. I told her why I was in today and she asked if I had ever been in before. I let her know that it was my first time and what I wanted. We started our journey to go look for beds. She took me over to three beds. One was Yellow which was slightly soft but had a little bit of firmness, then green, which was pretty soft, but a nice firm base as well. Finally blue, which was just soft and made you feel like you were in a cloud. Then they showed you how the beds had lifts built in them so you can adjust your body while in the bed. We walked around and I laid in about 3 to 4 different beds before I came across the bed that I knew was exactly for me. As soon as I laid down in this bed I knew it was mine. Micki agreed that it was a great bed and it was a hybrid type. I decided on this one. We went to do the financing part and it went great. Micki walked me through the entire process and I loved that. She was super helpful and answered all my questions. One thing I have to say is that if you let them know a certain price range you need to be in, they will work their hardest to get you in that range. They first quoted me $3,100 with the bed, frame, protection, delivery and set up, but after I said that would not work for me, they were able to get all of this down to the price where I wanted it to be!! I was really really pleased. I highly recommend Mattress Firm and this location in the Gainesville Market! I was taken care of from the moment I walked in to the moment I left. For something that we use on a day-to-day basis, I have no problem using a place like Mattress Firm! I highly recommend!

Do not do business at this store. My wife and I worked with Imari Williams while purchasing…read moremultiple items for rental units. At the time of sale, everything was shown on a tablet and seemed straightforward, but once we reviewed the receipts and experienced delivery, serious problems became clear. Our order was split into multiple transactions, and each piece of furniture was broken into many separate line items, which made the billing extremely confusing. A protection plan that was discussed as being about $550 ended up totaling nearly $900 across the split transactions. This was not clearly explained at checkout. We also paid extra for "white glove" delivery, which we were told included assembly. On delivery day, before they said almost anything else the drivers stated they would not assemble anything and it was a common problem of Ashley furniture telling people their delivery would include assembly when it did not. Delivery timing did not match what was scheduled, only part of the order arrived, and we had to refuse some items due to the confusion and timing issues. When we contacted the store, Chase told us there was nothing they could do. No adjustments were offered for the delivery fee or the protection plan, even though the services we paid for were not provided. No furniture was ever assembled by Ashley. We did return a couple of items affected by the delivery issues, but the larger billing and service problems were never addressed. Overall, I would strongly caution others to carefully review every charge and transaction, especially protection plans and delivery fees, and not rely solely on what is shown verbally on the tablet. Once the sale is complete, getting help afterward appears to be impossible. If you have any issues at all, do not accept the delivery.
