    Salt in the bunkie board broke in half. Obviously not repairable!

    So we bought a twin bunk over a full bed set with a bunkie board for the full bed! So now it has been about a month an last night we heard the full bed make a pop sound. So, we checked it out today and low and behold we found that the foot part of the bunkie board was broke (wtf). There is literally no weight down there period. We called up R2G in Grapevine, TX ME: Hi our bunkie board broke for our full size bed R2G: So sorry to hear that we will send out a Technician from CS to evaluate the problem to see if it can be fixed or if it needs to be replaced ME: let's go ahead and get them out today because we can't sleep on the bed without it R2G: Sorry but CS is closed today and it will have to wait until tomorrow (Monday) ME: (WTF) Ok so what are we to sleep on tonight? R2G: I don't know but we can't do anything today for you ME: (WTF) So, we literally don't have a bed to sleep on so we are just not going to be able sleep tonight?! R2G: (Laughing hysterically) No I guess not! ME: OK THAT IS NOT FUNNY BUT THANKS FOR THAT! WTF R2G why the f**k would you laugh @ ur customer about something that is obviously not f**king funny @ all. The rest of the conversation after that was I told R2G to just give me the number to call to have myself (not them because R2G won't make that appointment for is what I am told) make an appointment for the evaluation. I wish I could give a negative stars because this is utterly the worst CS experience ever.

    Proof of issues

    I NEVER give bad reviews! This is literally the 2nd poor review I've ever given for anything. My family and I have been shopping with rooms to go for decades.! I've furnished both homes and businesses with them. However, this most recent experiences with the Grapevine store has been nothing short of a disaster. I ordered my items with a Sales Rep " Patrick ". Patrick was very nice and I placed my order with a rep to ensure nothing went wrong. I located a furniture set that I liked more after my original order so when my items were delivered I arranged with Patrick to only keep the mattress and mattress board from my order and he would set a delivery date for the furniture set I switched to. I was told my furniture would be delivered on March 2, wow. I confirmed the delivery date and time window. I took the day off work to be available. Nothing every came. I reached out to customer service. They had no order pending for me and I had no idea what I was talking about. I reached out to Patrick, my sales rep who no longer even record our conversation a month later. After screenshot Ing him our prior messages and reminding him who I was, he told me he would begin to work on a resolve. He got the furniture we ordered, but unfortunately this may I would need to wait another month until April 2 to get my furniture delivered. All the while I'm sleeping on a mattress on the floor as a grown man after I move across country and show Rooms To Go to make this transition smoother. To add insult to injury, the days leading up until April 2 I confirmed my delivery date twice. However, I didn't think it was odd that they did not say the delivery time like the previous order that never showed. I wake up around 9:45 AM on April 2 and find that I missed a call from Rooms To Go at 8:50 in the morning. I called the number back and I was informed that Rooms To Go had been at my door already and left with my furniture. There is no way they'll be able to come back or assist. The order is closed, I will not be able to find out when they can reschedule delivery until Tuesday of next week. I spoke with Sara Sater ( a manager at the customer service call center). Sarah told me that she would look into see what else she could do to see if the delivery drivers can turn around. However, she refused to let me speak to anyone else and management told me that she would not transfer me to anyone above her. I expressed my displeasure as I felt Sarah was out of place for telling me shewas not even willing to pass a message along that I wanted to speak to her manager. At this time Its been 2 months without furniture. I have left a review with The Better Business Bureau and am awaiting a returned call from store manager Scott Peterson. It is unfortunate I such a long-term and loyal customer that continuously chooses Rooms To Go to report that I have been handled in this way. Especially when there are so many other options for furniture selection.

    I looked around at several rooms to go before I bought my couch. I went to the one in McKinney first. They were pushy and rude. I didnt buy it from them. I just happened to stop by after getting ice cream nearby. Went in and saw Damien Perez. He was so friendly and sincere, I bought my couch from him. Anybody can sell but not everybody has true connection with customers. I decided to buy my couch to give him commission because he was helpful. They have great selections on furnitures and you can finance or put down whatever you like if you get approve. I got approved for way too much and omg, I hope I don't go back and go crazy on my cc.

    Damage to the desk I just got!

    I have purchased all my furniture from them over the last 20 years & I needed all new living room & office furniture, put on layaway om Labor Day weekend, because I didn't know where I was moving. I made payments last one in November (all cash except the 1st one) I was told my order would be available in Nov, I told them I don't move until Dec. I went 12/3/22 over all the way from Richardson, wouldn't let me pay final balance over phone or on internet, also wanted to schedule for 12/10/22. Paid the remaining balance then she tells me after taking my $2700 dollars that my order won't be available to be delivered until March 2023! Why didn't she tell me that before I paid the balance? I'd have cancelled it. I know they sold it someone else who wanted it sooner hello? I put that furniture on hold for me! Then they had the nerve to tell me they couldn't refund all my money. My payments would have to be store credit because it had been so long since I made the payments. Are you kidding me 3 months is so long ago? I put $560 on my card in Sept & payment in cash in Oct & then Nov. I used the credit for a desk I really didn't want but they were not keeping my money! Then was dusting it today & it has scratches & nics all over it & I discovered a chunk out of it! They will never get another dime of my money & nobody I know will shop there either! I spent all day running around trying to find new furniture that could be delivered the following Sat & guess what Weirs could deliver! Told me unless it was a custom order RTG should have been delivered with no issues! Wasn't a custom order they just delivered it somebody else!

    Keep a garbage pail handy for daily clean ups!

Ended up purchasing a Serra Queen, plush pillow top mattress with box spring, frame, rail or whatever for $700 which was a great deal because although he told me it usually sold for a little over $1300 I wanted to check to be sure. Looked online and found comparable for more than that price. I even slept on the bed the first night to test it and it was the best nights sleep. I'm tempted to return to purchase this in a King for my bedroom. Pleasant experience and I was able to leave the store same day with my mattress. I'd definitely check them out if you're in the market.

I mean, our salesman (who actually doesn't usually work at this store) had some of his salesman jargon and smooth mooves but all in all, I would almost say buying a mattress here was fun! The "fun" was getting to try out the SLEEP TO LIVE system, which sounds so so dramatic. But all it is this kinda freaky space age diagnostic bed thing you lay on that measures how firm a mattress should be. I thought it was pretty cool, I don't know if it really saved us that much time but it is a fun gimmick. I was able to weasle myself some meager savings with the bed frame and delivery but they made damn sure I would spend in the higher end of my price range. Also, I wouldn't suggest writing a check here as it was a fiasco, he had to actually call it in which took forever, maybe they'll have it fixed soon.) One of his salesman tricks was to choose three beds in our prices range -one very nice, one nice, and one okay but cheap. Of course, you lay on the other two first and the cheap one isn't even on display, it's a twin they just pull off the wall to have you try. After all that, it's hard to settle for the cheapo one, even if it would save a couple hundred bucks. But as Omar from The Wire would say, it's all in the game. Whether your game is drug dealing or mattress selling, people trying to make money off of you and I can't really fault them as long as they aren't all up in my face.
