I purchased from your store in Selma Texas . June 2025 I bought new furniture from the Selma store a couch , Loveseat , two end tables , a coffee table and two lamps the cost was around 4,000 dollars, the furniture was delivered and there was damage to the end table , coffee table and one lamp, I called the store and they were happy to replace the defective pieces. a few weeks later they delivered the end table broken again . For the lamp Iwas sent a replacement part that was also broken, and the coffee table never arrived, I contacted customer care again with the issue they were going to replace the lamp and the other furniture( end table and coffee table ) on the third attempt to deliver the furniture the end table and lamp were broken and no coffee table I again called customer care . I was told to upload pictures again of the coffee table and that they had to locate old e mail . I finally asked the store to replace all the tables and lamps due to the quality I had been receiving, the store agreed to do this. I went back to your store to reselect the tables and lamps. At this visit I also added a zero-gravity message bed. that was another 3000 dollars spent in your store . So, the tables were delivered, I received the base of the bed and the wrong mattress apparently the one I selected that was on the showroom floor had a recall on it had never been removed from the showroom before . I called the store again and they told me I had to keep the mattress for 30 days before I could return it . this was a nightmare because the mattress was to hard for me to sleep on and I had already gotten rid of my old mattress . I went back to the store before the 30 days to re select a mattress because the store manager said to come in on that day however it was to soon and I could not place my order. I had to come back to the store the following week to re-select. When I was reselecting the mattress I had asked about the frame and if I could exchange it for a different manufacturer, I was never given an option on other models or I would have chosen a different one .I also explained to the manager my zero-gravity frame was not working right , they offered to send out a tech . My issue is I just bought it . The manager at the time told me he couldn't help to call customer care who said they couldn't help and only the manager of the store could fix the problem . I was then waiting to hear from the store on when the tech was going to be send out , no response from anyone until a man called me at work and said he was at my house to look at the bed. Ugh as you can see this was very frustrating by this point . SOOO after I selected a mattress I went home . My bed frame was delivered and the men who delivered that tore both sides of the mattress moving it to set up the bed headboard ,foot board sand frame . I had ordered a when they delivered the headboard one of the techs was told to look at the bed frame and told us it wasn't working properly, when I talked to the store the manager at the time promised me a new zero gravity frame of my choice , this never happened because he was transferred to a different store and I ended up calling the manufacturer to fix the problem ( the Mother Board) . they sent out the parts, and a service man installed it. I am still not happy with the zero gravity frame I was sold .with all of the problems I have had all I asked for was for the store to let me exchange the frame and the customer care said it was up to the store manager who lied to me about the steps he was taking to get this approved. He should be reprimanded for his lies along with the salesman who didn't carefully listen to what I wanted. I have decided I will only shop at locally owned furniture stores. my experience with this corp giant has left a very sour feeling with me. In June, I bought one of their bedroom sets that was on sale at a reasonable price. It consisted of a queen bed with head and footboards, a queen mattress and two night stands. I paid cash for entire set. It arrived but when the delivery people put it together, it was the wrong headboard. This headboard was white with dark wood trim and two lamps attached to it. the rest of set that I ordered was a light greyish brown with ivory trim. the patterns were nothing alike. I called store and they told me I couldn't keep that headboard because it belonged to a bedroom set much more expensive than I had bought and I couldn't trade because the furniture I bought was on sale and that meant no returns. I was trying to arrange to get the correct headboard delivered but when I did, they said it could be anytime between 7am - 10pm! I told them not to deliver it 7am. I work nights and don't usually get home til 8am. They said they would try to let delivery know but couldn't set a time. Sure enough, they arrived at 7am, I wasn't home so they left. When I contacted them again, I was told they had no way of controlling the times they came. That basically a customer has to be home from 7am - 10pm for when they come. they stated they sent me a text to tell me when they would come but it was too late for me to make any changes like 15 minutes before they arrived! apparently, the store has no real contact with delivery except to send them the sales info with address via computer. There is no communication between the two. I couldn't understand why a customer who was paying thousands of dollars had to miss work and sit at home for them to show up sometime in a 15 hour period. wasn't 10pm too late for people with younger children? what about working people in days and night?basically the message was "sorry about that but you have to accomodate to our system no matter the inconvenience because the customer's work, schedule or needs are of no consequence. After talking to manager we finally got to an agreement that he would call me the day before and tell me what time he saw on computer it was to be delivered. Later I was told that there was no headboard that went to my set available and the manufacturer had quit making them so I needed to go back to their store and pick out another set of equal value (they no longer had sale) and they would exchange all the pieces. Naturally when they delivered it would be any time between 7am-10pm so just be sure to be available. I had to fly out of state suddenly for a funeral, and when I got back I was just too upset about whole situation to ever go back. so I still have wrong headboard that belongs to more expensive set that clashes with footboard and nightstands. I've not heard from them either. i am in my 60's, have lived all around world and different states. I have bought a lot of furniture even from this same chain in 2008. i have never dealt with any company that put so much onerous on the paying customer. I made multiple purchases from Rooms To Go. After a recent purchase this may change due to the worse customer experience. I purchased a mattress that rises up and down. The mattress board hit my headboard and resulted in was damage to the headboard and mattress board. On 11/22/2024 a tech came out and found RTG tech failed to place a part on the mattress resulting in the damage. He placed the part and told me it was RTG fault. I would have the board and headboard replaced. No call from RTG over 2 months so I called today. They have horrible customer service. I spoke with 4 different people and supposedly one was a manager. I was told their technician said I bought an incompatible mattress. They would give me a new board as courtesy. My question is why didn't they tell me it was not compatible when their tech installed the mattress. I was told they did not make sure the mattress worked as part of paid installation. This explanation is ridiculous. After the part was placed on the mattress it works fine. Why would the technician tell me one thing and now they are telling me something different . They are nothing more than a glorified IKEA store. They damage the furniture when they deliver it, then you have to wait weeks for the so-called "repair crew" to show up. Instead of them fixing the furniture right, they just put a few screws in it and tell you it's fixed. The first time you move it after that, it falls apart. Customer service won't help you. Do not waste your time or your money here, the furniture is just cheap pressboard, not worth the price. read more

My family and I visited this rooms to go location yesterday. We're pretty familiar with this store for an Associate by the name of Nelly has helped us before. However, last night we met Corey who was super helpful. We always enjoy the customer service here. Corey gave us plenty of time to walk around, he didn't push us on anything and he answered all of our questions thoroughly. He also gave us tips on when to look for availability of things since Covid has delayed a lot of things being shipped. Since we'll be buying a bedroom set, living room set, and a few other miscellaneous furniture, we'll definitely be coming back for him to help us. BUYER EXTREME BEWARE!!!!!!!! God this place shouldn't be in business. I don't like giving one star reviews but when I do, holy crap they deserve it. In this case, I don't even want to give one star. What I would like is to see every single person on the management "team" fired, and then sued by every customer that has ever bought anything while they have been employeed. These less than humans are so dishonest, smug and literally DO NOT care about any issues that come up concerning their products. How do I know? I'm glad you asked. Not one, but two of them flat out said those exact words. I have already reported to the BBB and I am just getting started. I am retired, bored, need something to pass my time and since these geniuses decided to ruin my peaceful harmonious vibes, guess I get to focus ALL of my attention on them until they fix their POS employment problem or completely close this location. Normally I would just call it a day and just state that I will take my business elsewhere. But, these people are so disrespectful I am going to give them all of my attention. My oldest son bought a kid bed from them for my grandson. Our family live in different houses but on the same property (my wife and I own everything on the property). It took almost a month for it to arrive. They didn't call to schedule or notify of delivery, they just showed up. It was blind luck that I happened to be home when they did. Here is where the fun begins. We have a coded automatic gate with a call box that the driver decided to push open with his truck. His reason was that the gate wouldn't open and he has other deliveries, yep you read that right. I told the moron it wasn't a garage door opener and he was supposed to ring the call box to gain access to the property, which is exactly what the 2 huge red and white signs say, both above the key pad box and on the gate itself. The very gate he pushed open with his truck. Both sprockets on the mechanism had all of their teeth broken or sheered, and the track was completely bent ,which rendered it useless and stuck in the open position. Driver didn't care, didn't apologize or even acknowledge that he did anything wrong and just asked where to drop his delivery off. Immediately gave him an earful, took his name and truck number down and he didn't say anything, just looked at me like he was waiting for me to answer him. He finally opened up the back to unload and everything was ripped, torn or broken, EVERYTHING. It looked like it was pushed down a hill with dumbells tied to the corners. I told the driver no way we are accepting it and he told me since it wasn't my name on the delivery it wasn't my choice. My response? My property, my choice so yes, very much my say. I told him since he wants to force his way on my propety, break my gate in the process and then be a smart butt (not the word I used) he has 5 min to get off my property before I decide he is a threat and him and his truck become target practice. He was gone in less than 3. The good thing is, I have cameras everywhere so got everything recorded. Called the cops, filed a police report, gave them acopy of the footage and called my attorney to file a claim about my gate and sent him the footage as well. The whole time I had my son on the phone. When the driver left I told my son to call the store and tell them what happened. He called and was told that he will not get a refund and he can have the bed replaced but it will be delivered in 3 weeks. Then he was given some excuse of "since the sales reps get a commission on every sale they make they can't do refunds". My son didn't know what to do so, my turn. I called customer service and low and behold they told me something similar. Guess what, not my problem. I told them the furniture is their responsibility until it is successfuly delivered undamaged and signed for. Delivery was refused due to the bed being demolished and no signature was ever placed for acceptance. Was told they will only exchange but with prices increasing my son would have to pay the difference on the taxes and there would be a delivery charge since the original delivery was declined. I interrupted and told him "oh no this is not a negotiation, you are going to process my son's refund IN FULL right now or the next call will be to my attorney. The man told me there was nothing he could do. Ok no problem. So I called back my attorney, who then contacted the company. No idea who he spoke to but the next afternoon my son called me saying he got a full refund and was told to have my attorney send the repair bill to them for my gate the driver broke. I know this is a "war and peace book" of a review but there is no way I am going to allow any company (or their disrespectful and dishonest management team) to try to screw over my family. Friends, please do not waste your hard earned money and your precious time buying anything from this place. read more

I had to wait two months to have someone come out to get my pillows be evaluated (even after I told them the stitching had completely come out) after the guy showed up on the wrong day, the customer service lady I called blames me for not scheduling correctly and tells me I'll have to wait another month. So when they finally come out, the tech guy himself is sweet and professional, takes a look and tells us all 3 pillows need to be replaced and also part of our couch do to stitching coming apart. He lets me know I will get a call from rooms to go to schedule the replacement within 3-5 days. It's been a month and I have yet to get a call, I tried calling and was on hold for 30mins. So I have torn pillows and a couch that I bought 6 months ago. Not great quality. Not how I thought a customer should be treated. Will not be purchasing more from them. The worst experience at this store every time I've been in there. I normally go in there for research and to test furniture and just order online. This i walked in & all the sales people lounging around in a group and staring at me.... including the supervisors, I've come to find out. I purchased a new couch and love seat, not only did it take months to arrive but it arrived at the wrong time and was damaged. I've had bad experiences at furniture stores before, but at least then I was able to work with customer service to get things ironed out. I ordered an end table & had a wonderful experience in store. My problem was with the delivery service. They sent me a time frame of 1-5 that they would be here on Thursday. Got a call at 2:03 with a man who told me he was 14 minutes away. I waited almost an hour before I called to see where he was, when I did finally call there was no answer. I called several times to get someone to deliver it because I was still in the time frame that I was told. They told me they couldn't send anyone out to deliver because they finished their routes and the driver went home for the day. Customer service was RUDE! Then they told me that someone attempted to deliver my furniture around 8 AM (I was home at that time) and said they couldn't deliver because no one answered the door. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THIS LOCATION! I cannot stress this enough. We purchased a living room set, a sitting room set, a large rug, and lamps. We were told that the mat we purchased (to go under the rug ) would be exactly like what we saw at the store. When it arrived it was way too short. When we contacted the store they told us that they don't carry that size and the one on the showroom floor was custom. What???? One lamp arrived broken and we were told the store would deliver a new one. Days later we were told that they had returned the lamp because we denied it at delivery. So we would not be getting the second lamp? Wait what??? We asked what we should do with the end table that would now not have a lamp. The sales representative (Matt) told us to bring it to the store and they would return the item. We loaded up the end table and took it to the Selma location. When we arrived at the store we were told by Matt, to look around and he would work on our return. Matt then came and told us that they would not be able to return the table at their store and we would need to have their delivery team come and pick it up. They would also be charging us 50% as a restocking fee. What???? Oh it gets better, we were then told that they did not refund our lamp and that it was scheduled to be delivered in a week. We received no call concerning this and no one contacted us about scheduling another delivery. The manager would not come over and talk with us. We left the store very upset about the unbelievable service and the complete dishonesty of this team. We tried to call the store to speak with the general manager and she refused to take our call. In fact, she asked her floor manager Jesus, to handle our call. When we repeatedly asked to speak with the general manger (since she was there and the who had instructed our sales representative to be so incredibly dishonest ) we were told that the floor manager would be the only one who would be speaking with us. Not only will we never shop at Rooms To Go ever again, we will make sure to do everything we can to tell everyone we know about this experience. So disappointed in the unprofessional behavior. I bought a loveseat only because it was in stock and i could get it delivered on 9/1. The delivery truck brought me two pillows and no loveseat. Three hours later, i got a call that the loveseat would be delivered on 9/13. They will not return my money or cancel the order. The furniture is poorly made and the hardware is cheap. The screws used are laughable. We had to design our own system to keep the frame sturdy. Rooms To Go is a huge space with loads of options. The price range is wide, but most things seemed to be in a mid-range. The friendly staff will stay attentive to you as you wander, but won't hound you, which is nice. The furniture here is very similar in pricing and style to Furniture Warehouse across the highway, but it's a different enough collection as to be worth the separate visit if you've gone to the other already. read more

I bought a couch and chair back in May. I had to wait almost 3 weeks to get the furniture so they need to take the sign "next day delivery " off of their trucks. The first couch they delivered was damaged. so they ordered another couch. Once again I had to wait 3 weeks to get it. It was damaged also. We ordered a couch and love seat set through rooms to go, and Jason helped us get everything ironed out and even set us up with a delivery and setup service for our heavy furniture. However, when the delivery dates and times were set up they messed up and delivered at the wrong times. Our couch was left on the couch during a rain storm and my fiancé had to manhandle a full sized couches into our home by herself because they didn't deliver when scheduled and no one was home. That was for the first item because they couldn't be delivered at the same time. Jason talked with me on the phone and said it wouldn't happen again. Well, it happened again on the second piece delivered and neither Jason, nor the store manager will return calls or emails. Horrible service, and no responsibility. Floor salesman get commission once the final item is delivered. Our second item was delivered and he had no reason to help or make things right after that. I was in this afternoon trying to get a quick glance of what was in the show room , when an employee there greeted us and was so pushy about trying to get our attention when we specifically said we didn't need help . That employee felt the need to follow us when all we wanted was to look around in peace. I left that store not even 2 min being in the store. I suggest you guys pay your employees a little more being that Priscilla the employee was so hungry for commission that she forgot what personal space is. The sales manager lied about switching out the mattress after 30 days. I have to go to the doctor because the mattress I ordered was supposed to be a medium and in fact was a firm was delivered. I had to get a shot in my back because it was like sleeping on the pavement. I woke up with my entire side numb and hurting. Needless to say after they lied about the price it did not matter at that point my health was more important. I paid the extra $400 to exchange it for a plush mattress and the fee to return the previous "wrong" mattress. Also the warranty for the new mattress does not start on the new date of delivery it is back dated 30 days. You would think a chain store knew how to do things better, but they absolutely failed in every regard. I bought a set of furniture 2.5 years ago, but I am finally writing a review after they made in clear they don't care about there customers today. When I purchased: the sales people clearly didn't know the products they had and were only interested in pushing add ons. Useless stuff like "force field protection". They couldn't even spell my name correctly after giving them my information. The messed up the order several times. I had to call the credit card company to remove over $500 worth of extra charges. I had to prove them to them by spending hours on the phone and explaining basic math to them. Then the delivery was a nightmare. It was communicated extremely poorly. When it finally arrived they were delivering broken pieces that had no QA checks leaving a warehouse. The first 2 deliveries were simply missing parts as well. 3 redo deliveries later I finally gave up and accepted my couch would never have the right connection parts. I was concerned about the sofa feet given how many had arrived that were already broken and wobbly. But it has been 2.5 years now and the feet, as I should have known, are about to fall off on the couch that I had problems with. I just called the customer service and they made it clear that they simply don't care. "You signed an agreement..." was all they would tell me. They have no relationship with any local furniture repair they would even recommend. I even said I was willing to pay for repairs recognizing it was out of warranty. They have my money though and just don't care about customers after they make the sale. If you want a good experience and a company that cares... just stay away from Room To Go. This is one of the worst experiences. I will be happy to pay more for something higher quality and with people that care about what they are doing next time. read more

My wife and I went in to look at new bedroom furniture as we are upgrading to a king. We dealt with a salesman named Carlos. Our experience was alright at first until we told him what we were interested in, that's when he was going in for the kill. He tried selling us on 4K mattresses and became argumentative when I explained that I wanted to shop around for my mattress purchase. I had cash to purchase the bedroom set and Carlos would have received commission, but I guess a 7pc bedroom set wasn't enough for him! I have had one piece now on its 4th attempted deliver because they all arrive broken/'refurbished'! I do not want to pay full price for a refurbished piece of furniture! Then they change my delivery date on my sofa set from September 16th (though I purchased in July) to October 25 without my consent. I asked about other warehouses that could ship...?!?!? They just lost us as a customer and wish we can rate it as 0 .  4 hours later after all are finalized.  They called us to let us know that they need more information, do the leg work, won't listen to anything you say.  Retracted what they did and asked us to do more.  The manager Ross wont even let anyonr be accountable.for their action.  They made us feel like we were the one taking advantage of the situation.  I say if one of your manager made a mistake....take accountability on it and not have the customer suffer your mistake.  Poor customer service.  At the end of it, we cancelled our huge order, request our refund which still haven't posted in our bank. Took our business to Denver Mattress and they took care of us without any hassle.  Huge mistake to spend most of out time here in rooms to go.  We will never be back for their business. read more

Nathan gave the WORST customer service I have ever experienced. He was rude and wouldn't stay on topic. I went to buy a sofa with my girlfriend and he asked her invasive questions and was way too touchy. It made both of us clearly uncomfortable and he wouldn't back off. Absolutely terrible experience, Nathan should NOT work in customer service. read more

My husband and I purchased a bedroom set back in February 2022 during the Room to Go "President's Weekend " sale, in order to benefit from the ongoing sales. Unfortunately, our salesperson, Brycen Gathers, was dishonest and unorganized with us during the sale. Our plan was to purchase a whole set of furniture. However, after confirming our order and the price, we would later find out the order was put in wrong. We only received half of the order and had to pay an additional couple hundred dollars to complete the set weeks after we got the first shipment. We were also disappointed because, during the sale, Brycen said there was a deal going on that if a customer spent a certain amount of money, they would receive a $500 store gift card in the mail. We never received the card and were told there was no such promotion when we went to inquire for more information. Overall, it was a terrible experience. read more
