Not sure how this place has so many good reviews. I just moved to Seattle and was looking for my new nail place. I made an appointment and they did get me in right on time, but the service was not very good at all. I paid extra for a callus removal and extra massage, she barely scrubbed my heels and didn't even scrub the huge calluses on my big toes. And then the massage was about 1 min, with a hot stone she sort of placed on my foot and then gently touched it to other parts of my foot. It was weird. Also not sure of the cleanliness of this place, none of the tools came out of the sterile wrappers like I see at other places and then she put the hot stones she used for me right back into the warmer. The only reason they get 2 stars is because they got me in right at my appointment time, and they did paint my nails nicely. But the whole thing took less than 30 minutes, and my manicure started after the pedicure each service probably took only 20 minutes. For $60 I want to be pampered at my nail salon and they barely even moisturized my hands and feet. read more

My appointment was made for two persons for 2pm but luckily we arrived 30min prior. Upon arrival, I gave them my name and clearly stated it was for 2 persons. I was seen almost immediately while my daughter had to wait. In the meantime 4 more persons arrived for their 2 pm appointment. Every chair was taken so it was at this point that I asked the manicurist if she would be doing my daughter's nails after me that they realized she was actually a customer. The manicurist did a good job for both of us and was sincerely apologetic for overlooking my daughter. Overall staff seem friendly and approachable. The service was rushed however so I wasn't really able to enjoy the experience like I normally do at other salons. They did offer water or tea which is a plus but not enough to enjoy the overall experience. The place is small but quaint. If it were not for the fact that it was crowded and it felt a bit cramped with a full house, it could have been a more relaxed feel. Would I recommend this place? Yes, but suggest you find out their downtime and make appointment for that day and time. read more

Nice job on my nails! The girl who did my nails was really understanding and took direction well when I asked her not to cut the cuticle, just push it back. She was detail oriented and my nails look nice. They don't have a large selection of regular nail polish, but they have plenty of gel and SNS options. I found an OPI regular nailpolish I liked, called 'Put it in Neutral'. At the time of this writing, a regular mani is $18. Heads up, to dry your nails it's just a simple small standing fan on the mani table, and you'll need to wave your hands in front of it to dry your nails. My nails dried just fine in the end, but it was a bit awkward and took longer than the fan machine you can slide your hands into. read more

I came here a few times based on recommendations from a colleague. I live over in Ballard and made the trek a few times for either gel manicures or SNS dip. They do a fabulous job, but the wait is forever, even if you make an appointment. I like the variety of colors they have, but for me it wasn't worth the trip over to the other side of town for. Also, the area has a very high crime rate so you will be lucky if your car isn't broken into while you have your nails done. read more

Had SNS powder dip here and was so very disappointed. The dip started lifting in 6 days which isn't supposed to happen until 3 wks or so. They were so expensive too for the mediocre job done. It cost me $95 for the SNS manicure and shellac pedicure. I asked the lady to not cut my toe nails coz they are already short but she looked confused but just cut it anyway. I was so shocked she didn't even confirm from me if she understood what I requested correctly. I just shook my head coz what can I do? She already cut the nail I told her not to cut! I think if you're a regular here you actually do get a five star day, but when you aren't it's 2-3 stars. My friend and I went in for the deluxe pedicure and manicure. You're supposed to get an organic salt bath, which we did not get. We got absolutely no cuticle work as part of our pedicure and we got no callous work. On their website they say you get all of those with the deluxe pedicure. I did get a lovely massage and for that I am grateful. No tea as others mention, unless you ask. I got a gel manicure, and while the cuticle work was good, I got absolutely no massage and no lotion. The person I went with had to wait a half an hour to get anybody to be willing to take her money. They kept referring her back to sitting down and waiting. While we waited we watched several regulars come in and they get great service with massages and lotion, good cuticle work and lively conversation. That was definitely not our experience. For over $85 with tip, it was a very disappointing experience. read more

Pedicure was very rushed. But the technician did a very good job. I also asked for my finger nails to be trimmed and cuticles cleaned. It was so rushed they did it while I was sitting in the chair for my pedicure. Looking at them one week later, not a good job at all my cuticles are a mess. In the past I have had good gel manicure at this establishment. The one I got on Saturday was a disaster. My left thumb was broken within 2 hours and by the time I could get back over there to get them redone (on Tuesday, because they are closed on Sunday and Monday ) the tips are chipping and breaking. It was busy and I did not have time to wait. I was leaving first thing in the morning for two weeks. The best they could do was 30% off on my next manicure. They should give me a voucher for a manicure when it is convenient for both of us. A reputable salon would make it right. Unfortunately, they did not make this right I will not be back. read more
