My regular nail magician is out on leave and I've been struggling to find a place that fits my needs. I was planning to be near this location and decided to call the day before to make an appointment on a Saturday. They fit me in for a gel manicure and regular pedicure. I'm not the kind of person that makes an appointment 6 weeks in advance. I tend to call a salon the day before or day of service so I was happy to see they could do that. When I arrived, there were clear markings for COVID safety and seats near the door to wait. Sanitizer was readily available and they also use plastic guards at all stations. I had a chance to watch their cleaning protocols as well and I felt very safe. The selection of dipping powder is extensive but I stick to gel on my natural nails. I was particularly impressed by their cat eye selection (which I tend to use during winter months). For the spring, I chose one of the many sparkly colors available. They started my manicure while I was in the pedicure chair and later moved me to the table when my pedicure was done. Cuticles are my mortal enemy and they did a good job of cleaning them up and trimming my way-too-long nails. I liked that they asked a lot of questions about how I liked my nails done since it was my first time there. The pedicure was the star of the show. The best manicurists almost never do pedicures so I have a hard time finding a salon that does both well. I haven't had a pedicure in a while and have trouble with ingrown toenails. I was educated about what was going on with my toes and how we could work to get them healthier over the next few months. They took extremely good care of my toes from cuticles to re-shaping to my sandpaper-like heels. This is my new "go to" place for pedicures! Overall, service was very friendly. The cost of my visit before tip was $65 - deal! The spacing was good and they followed COVID occupancy standards. I'll be coming back for my manicures while my regular person is on leave and will definitely be getting pedicures here in the future! read more

I am so disappointed I have been going here for a little while now. However as a good paying costumer, and a good paying tipper I feel like there should be some type of respect. I made my appointment for 5 o'clock and I sat there for almost 20 mins and she was no where finished doing the lady nails a seat over from me. I will no longer be coming here anymore. I'm honestly extremely angry and disappointed with my experience here. I came in asking for acrylic French tips, and the first thing I noticed was that the lines weren't even on the tips. The lines weren't straight at all. At first I tried to let it go because from a distance it didn't look that bad, and I didn't want to make a big deal about it. But things only got worse after I left. Within a short amount of time my nails started popping off one by one. Then the product started peeling badly, and on some nails it peeled so much that you could literally see my skin underneath. That should NEVER happen with a proper acrylic set. Looking back, I realize the technician kept filing and drilling my nails over and over again, way more than necessary. She kept going back in with the drill and the file again and again like she was trying to take the nail down as thin as possible. At the time I didn't question it because I assumed she knew what she was doing, but now that my nails are lifting and falling off, it makes a lot more sense. My nails felt extremely thin and sensitive afterwards, like they had been drilled down way too far. It honestly felt like my natural nails were overworked and damaged during the process, which probably explains why the acrylic set didn't hold up at all. To make matters worse, when my nails popped off, it came off with part of my actual nail attached, which was painful and honestly shocking. That should never happen with a properly done acrylic set. Instead of just the acrylic lifting, it felt like my real nail had been weakened so much that it came off with it. Overall this was a really upsetting experience. I paid for acrylic French tips expecting professional work and instead left with damaged nails and a set that didn't even last. read more

Although somewhat cold when I was first being helped, the staff warmed up after a bit and were very helpful, attentive to detail, and kind. I think my manicure looked great, and the price honestly took me by surprise! I used their student discount and probably paid the best price for such a great set of nails in a very long time. Came in to have a new set, I decided to get shellac French tip. Shaping was good and my technician was fast. I like how she made them thin, looks a lot prettier. I just wished they added cuticle oil to my nails afterwards and there was tiny bubbles on my thumb but hardly visible. Pricing is reasonable, definitely cheaper than Bellevue. A returning customer to Greenwood Nail & Spa! Easy to book an appointment. Staff are wearing face masks and have plexi glass for COVID-19 safety. I was able to get a regular pedicure and got dipping powder manicure. All the staff were really nice and super helpful. I described and showed a picture of a "cotton candy" vibe I wanted they helped me pick the right shade/colors for it to be ombré. And also recommended to do the tip extensions and a glitter coat after to give it that final touch. Excellent customer service, and my nails look wonderful. I will like to say the rating I am giving this business isn't for poor quality or bad nail outcome but rather for the scam they tried to pull on me. I went into this business for a nail appointment and nails turned out great. I went to go pay for the service and my friend that I had gone with was charged $60 for her nails. She had gotten 5 different colors and a design for a full set acrylic. I had gotten a full set acrylic with only one color and my length of my nail just a little longer than my friends. The nail salon tried to charge me $140 for just the length of the nail even though I had still gotten it cut down when the nail extensions were applied. I have never paid more than $60 for the nails that I had gotten at this place and to be charged $140 was absolutely ridiculous. Mind you, this was no where stated in there menu not disclosed to me during the service. How was my nails over doubled in pricing from my friends nails who had gotten multiple colors and designs??? I refused to pay the $140 and was asked how much I think is a reasonable price and I told her $60. I left her $60 and still tipped $10. Was very disappointed with this establishment and confused as to where $140 came from?? I will not be going back. read more

Looking for a place that was open later - they squeezed me in at the last 30 minutes. The salon owner, Nina, did my nails and she did an amazing job. She told me a little backstory - she has been doing nails for 17 years and YES she can do holo and chrome nails. I've never had holo nails so I took the plunge. They came out beautifully. The MAGIC happened after the nails when Nina gave me an upper body massage in which she released some knots and ... energy blockages... I left relaxed and glowy. The salon itself has only been under Nina for the last year so she is still working on sprucing it up. As for my nails, my edges could've been a little more smoother/cleaned up, and there were a few times where she got close to my cuticles (nothing too painful) - but overall, it was a good job and I'll be back for my fill. **Note for large parties: I got there at about 1040 and only one lady was there. This was my first time getting shellac, and the woman was very helpful in explaining the pricing and how shellac works. *First 0 STAR rating EVER!!!, but it wouldn't let me rate 0" I made an appt for 6:40 so I could ensure my Shellac mani-pedi would be completed by 7:45p... Which I was assured it would be...when I got there at 6:30, there was only one person working, and I waited until 7pm before I was helped. Took 55 mins to complete pedi and take off old Shellac (and did it with filing, not acetone/scrapping...so it thinned and roughened my nails)...then had to leave with totally bare nails since they ran out of time...65 mins to do just toes, which actually turned out bubbly, too short and uneven!!! then they're Credit Card machine wasn't working when I tried to pay, so it made me even more late... I will NEVER visit this nail place again... You have been warned!!! :( read more
