My little pumpkin Arthur at Roosevelt Station Vet Care's super cute Halloween photo booth!

I can't say enough good things about the staff at this vet clinic, especially our veterinarian, Dr. Andresen. She is fantastic, has been so helpful and compassionate, and has genuinely gone above and beyond to communicate with me regarding caring for my two cats (the front staff and technicians are excellent too, and I've overheard other vets speaking to clients in the lobby, and they seemed just as thorough and attentive). I really appreciate Dr. Andresen's follow up, including some extremely helpful and detailed emails with resources, advice, and links to more information for my cats needs. I have never felt so empowered! My kitties have gotten chonky, and her email a couple of months ago made all the difference in my ability to help them on this genuinely challenging weight loss journey - and they are down almost 10% of their weight! Just today we had a dental procedure done for my sweet guy Arthur, and they sent me home with before and after photos of the dental procedure, which just really helped in understanding his issues and feeling more confident in my kiity's dental care. The parking can be tricky at first, but know before you go that it's across the street in a large lot and then the clinic will validate your parking. I didn't think to research that beforehand and knowing would have made my first visit easier. The lobby is a little small and there isn't a separate area for cats, which can be stressful for kitties when there are energetic dogs in the lobby or just a lot of activity. Good news about the lobby is, they have a wheelchair ramp! I never thought to include details about accessibility access in my reviews, but since I've been using a mobility device for a broken foot the past couple of months, it's something that I've learned to really value and recognize as an important feature to highlight for all the folks who need to know about these things. We are so so happy we found this clinic! Thank you to everyone for caring for my BFFs with so much love and care!!!

This place scared me!!!! I'm a first time Maltese mom and I took my four legged son here to establish care, everyone was nice,Doc came in sort of explained things to us,she gave him shots but we didn't know what she was giving him and why, long story short,he had a reaction to the 3 shots at one time ,scared us to death!!!!! Found another Dr and also acquired pet insurance!! Did not go back will not be going back!!

I could not be happier with this Vet, in particular Dr Andresen. Overall they've taken the absolute best care of my king charles cavalier Winnie who's had a handful of health issues lately. My girlfriend will soon be adopting a puppy and I'm hopeful Roosevelt Station will be able to care for her too!

Nothing but amazing things to say about the staff and the building! I have a highly anxious dog who needs regular care, in the past going to the vet was never a great experience for me or my dog. Since finding Roosevelt Station, I look forward to our visits! They treat my dog with a level of patience, love, and positive reinforcement that I am yet to experience at another clinic. These guys rock, definitely try them out!

This review is for Dr.Dittrich and all of the amazing people at Roosevelt Station. We took our dog Spud here for a year before we left Seattle, and I was consistently impressed at how professional and caring the staff was. We're trying to find new vets post-move, and it's honestly difficult because it's hard to imagine them meeting the bar that was set here. The experience that really stands out in my mind was when we (accidentally) found a tumor on Spud's spleen during a routine ultrasound. My GF and I were *freaking out* and pretty distraught because we really love Spud, but Dr.Dittrich was very calm, caring, and guided us through all of our options. She and the RSVC team were with us every step of the way as we coordinated care with a specialty center she researched for us and recommended. Even when Spud had a bunch of issues pre-surgery (vomiting, bloody stools) that really scared us, Dr.Dittrich set up an email thread with our surgeon where she helped coordinate everything, even sending messages during the weekend. The surgery went well and Spud is OK now, and I can't overstate how much of that is thanks to Dr.Dittrich. From Spud and the rest of our family, thank you so much! TLDR if you live in Seattle and you want an AMAZING place to take your fur baby, look no further. Tell them Spud sent you :)

We sat in the waiting area with the clinic cat who was so open to belly rubs :) The exam room was small, but has a bench for sitting that can only fit 1-2 people comfortably. I started visiting this vet because they offered folks who work at Amazon a discount. Do not fall for that trap. I had a dog who had seizures. I needed to pick up levitiracetum and apoquel for her regularly. (1) this vet has an online clinic they probably have a deal with, for many drugs it's excruciatingly overpriced. Meaning I pay 1/5th of the price of the seizure medication at my local pharmacy. When I told this vet to call in my dogs rx they said by law they could not. This is false. You as a client are allowed to pick up your rx anywhere you want to. I actually reported this and a few weeks later I was called back by LUV indicating they could all of sudden call in my dogs rx. While I lost trust in them, I appreciated that they pivoted and admitted it. But the pain continues. My dog needs her bordatella updated. She had surgery about 6 months ago from the same vet, And her wellness is only a week past one year , we visit the vet regularly. The annual wellness law is to ensure the vet has seen the dog in the last year to ensure they are prescribing medications on an animal they've seen.....LUV examined my dog pre-surgery but they say none of the visits count to establish vet-client relationship and won't do the bordatella without an annual wellness exam. We were there 6 months ago for her pre surgery work. We are there regularly. Last year when I updated my dogs vaccinations I paid more than $700 they added on a bunch of stuff we didn't need. I'm an established patient, they know me and my partner (and my cat!). Unfortunately, asking for an update on labwork yesterday culminated in an absolutely bizarre phone conversation with one of the receptionists that ended with "Look, we have lots of other patients. We can transfer your records to another vet if you're unhappy." And then hung up. That is, without a doubt, an insane thing to be ok saying to a client. I just wanted to know whether I needed to postpone my upcoming appt to wait for the labs! I no longer feel like there will be a good standard of care so I'm taking them up on the "find a new vet" threat. My 17 year-old cat gets to re-establish care elsewhere. This absolute catastrophe could've been avoided with the sentences: "Sorry about that, you should've heard back today but we are now expecting it early tomorrow. I wouldn't reschedule your appointment." Instead I got "I don't know what's happening with your pet. Do you want to reschedule the appointment or not?" Maybe things will work out for you here, for me they did for a while, but also maybe they'll rudely show you the door when you ask for an update on your pet. I won't risk that level of volatility in my pet's health care. I don't think you should either.

We kept an eye on them for a a few days hoping that after some water and a little time to rest, the bird would find it's way to the sky again, but unfortunately, this was not the case. After reaching out the Bird Clinic of Seattle, it was discovered that this specific type of bird couldn't be treated by them and they suggested reaching out to a local vet for euthanization. Easy, right? This is Seattle - there's TONS of veterinaries here... After calling no less than half a dozen vets within a 10 mile radius of our home who refused to help (including the vet we USED to take our cats to who continually fat shamed them), we called Atlantic who graciously said they could assist AND offered same day service. We put the bird in a shoebox and brought it over. I asked the front desk person what form of payment they preferred and the response was, "Nah. There's no need to pay us for this kind of service. Thank you for doing the right thing and bringing this poor bird in." Fast forward, my big guy cat woke me up a few months ago growling very early in the morning. It was obvious he was in a lot of pain, but our regular vet clinic didn't open until 9am vs. Atlantic who's phone lines open at 7am. I called them and immediately got an appointment for him to be seen later that afternoon. Frankly, the quality of care and genuine kindness that Dr. Monahan and her staff continually show us is incomparable to that of our last vet. I have bumped into vet techs at Atlantic whom I've never met, but express so much joy when my big guy cat shows up for follow ups. Everyone from the doctors to nurses to the front desk folks are always thorough and wonderful and we've never had an issue getting an appointment on the same day. We decided to move our cats here for primary care permanently. If you're looking for a vet that's happy to answer questions, not fat shame your pets, come up with health solutions and are generally an outstanding group of people who deeply care for animals and love what they do, this is the place.
