We've been taking our son's dirt bike here for years for a big maintenance items. The guys are super friendly and treat us well.

Poor customer service. I went out of my way to "keep it local" and 3 months later I still dont have the full original order. Bought a used Polaris and found out later it was in a bad accident and part of the suspension was repaired with an arc welder. Very polite to your face but have no business being a retail representative. Poor communication from top to bottom. Went to Amazon to complete my order. read more

Left my ATV with them to fix, they never called me. I had to call them multiple times. Then they had the audacity to tell me they tried to call me for months when the only time i was in contact with them is when I called. THEN they tell me I have storage fees since i never answered. Misleading customer service. Was told a certain amount for repairs, but when I went to pick up my bike, they added additional charges. They basically held it hostage. If there were another repair shop within 50 miles, I would never go to the Roost again. read more

The people themselves are very pleasant to deal with. However after I bought my Husqvarna motorcycle from them ( paid in full with bank check) I was considering buying another bike from them, using my KTM as a trade in. They would NOT even consider this. My KTM was less than a year old and in good shape. I was surprised..I thought you were in the business of selling bikes. I then brought my motorcycle back for its second tune-up, the mechanic nor the gentleman that sold my bike didn't even know how to turn off my check engine light. Seriously disappointed. ( They said they would do some research on it and email me the specifics on how to turn off the check engine light, however they never followed through.) Buy somewhere else....buy from someone that's going to have your back if anything should go wrong. These guys honestly left me feeling out in the cold. read more

These guys are great. I deal with Nick all the time and I've never had a bad experience. They have everything from oil, additives, race gas, gear, and tires for all kinds of toys. They don't really stock specific parts, so if you're looking for a replacement hub, bearing, tie rod, etc, they'll more than likely have to order it. But service/maintenance/gear wise, they're a 1 stop shop for everything. They have an impressive inventory - and the place was recently renovated this year. I've also had them do some other minor repair work - everything from pressing bearings, replacing the rope on my quad's pull starter, mounting/balancing tires, and so on, and every time it was a same day turn around. I'd drop it off on my way to work and I'd pick it up on my way home. These guys also have an insane dirt bike showroom. I'd say they got at least 30 bikes in there; most of them new. During the summer time they normally have a handful of street bikes and several quads. I've never seen them sell any junk, and for a dealer I'd say it's reasonably priced. The only complaint I have about these guys is they don't call you when stuff comes in. I understand these guys are normally pretty busy, but if you want them to call you when your stuff is ready you got to make it a point otherwise they'll forget. I didn't want to take off a full star for this as it's not that big of a deal for me. read more

SCAM ALERT!!!!!!!! Absolutely the worst experience I've ever had with any business. Gave me an estimate for tune up with oil change and drive train service for 350. When the job was finished they charged me 615 dollars and gave me 8 business hours to pick the atv up or charge me 25 dollars a day. They didn't even change the air filter or know I had a head light out. read more

I went down to roost on Saturday, March 6 I bought a 2005 YZ 125 that they claim they went through rebuilt the bike and there was nothing wrong with it therefore I drove home got the cash to buy the bike drove all the way back to roost they wouldn't give me a cash discount or any kind of discount I get home I ride the bike for maybe 80 feet now the bike doesn't run anymore I paid $4600 for a bike with cracked cases which they covered up with a front sprocket cover all he did to this bike was put new plastics on it and called it a day I'm very disappointed with their customer service don't get me wrong they're great guys they just won't work with you I did a little bit of research a lot of people have gone to roost and got screwed over on bikes keep in mind I'm 15 what his bike in cash it mistake I've ever made I will never go back there ever again I'm so disappointed in what happen it is beyond belief. read more

Being honest, I go to this place for things I can not do and although they can be pricey it's totally worth it. I had a problem with my CRF150f 2008 and I called roost told them my problem they said before you bring it in charge the battery to see if that works told me everything to do and it worked(my luck) but they help and if its something more than that obviously it will be costly because they know stuff you most likely do not and have the right tools to see the problem. These guys are absolute scumbags. They are terrible mechanics and their customer service sucks. They charged me $150 and did absolutely nothing to my kid's quad except change a spark plug...and they didn't even tighten that! Stay away!!!!!!! read more

I've brought my lawn tractor and snowblower to Roost for repairs and have been very pleased with their service. They are honest and the work is done correctly. Nick the guy at the counter is very pleasant to deal with. There is another power equipment store in town that treats the homeowner customer disrespectfully. This is not the case at Roost. Roost may not be the fanciest motorcycle/ATV/power equipment store, but the do their job well and they do it right. read more

Brought my street bike down for maintenance. That service was good and the bike was in great shape afterwards. The follow up calls or finding out if the bike was done is terrible. I had to always call to find out the status. No type of customer relation at all. Now the BIGGEST problem with the company. Although jay is a great guy with all good intentions purchasing a bike from them is horrible. I applied for a new dirtbike and was told I was approved. I even said I would put down some cash. So I got excited about to get another bike again. So I wait and wait I finally call back a week later being very patient. Was told they were waiting on the title ( certificate of origin ) I made over 11 additional calls for two weeks after the initial acceptance to do the paper work and pick up the bike. No calls back EVER. I called yet again going on 3 weeks and was told still waiting on title. At this point I'm mad and thinking to myself why sell a bike on your property without a title doesn't make sense . So I called back again and now it seems they maybe screening calls because they won't answer my calls or even pick up the phone or messages. It's on one month they ran my credit yet putting a mark on it for hard inquiry again saying I'm approved and still nothing from them. I have no taken delivery of the bike nor even herd from them.. bad way for customer relations bad way for business and am super surprised they are even still there knowing how they do business .. unless you have cash in hand that will satisfy them don't bother with them. They will hurt your credit and leave you hanging .. I'm now in the market for another decently used bike. I'm done waiting for them and will end up taking a hit on credit again or just pay cash. Terrible sales from a great guy. But goes to show he has more important things to do than run his business properly.. read more
