I would have liked to have given this location 5 star; however, after speaking with management regarding our experience last night, 3 stars is sufficient for the location, waitress and food. We spent money on two meals and three alcoholic beverages. The waitress never mentioned there were specials going on to where we could have participated in the Monday night special and or had a cost savings for eating there on a Monday night. The waitress was great and very apologetic. She felt we already knew (even though we never ate there on a Monday). When I spoke with the manager she said "they dont require their girls to give the specials because you can use the the QR code on the tables and access them that way". Consumers we all know that the best marketing starts with a friendly verbal suggestion. I feel that because this place does very well in sales, the management staff could care less about a couple of unfavorable experiences, but guess what management, consumers are now aware of your greed , poor marketing strategy , and lack of discernment. Lindsay, did you not take in consideration that consumers who take advantage of food specials such as yours, actually invest more. Hear ye.... Hear ye. Another crap carry out from Roosters Huber Heights. Part of my order was a large chicken noodle soup. This soup was removed from their refrigerator and placed in my carry out bag. Stone cold when I got home. Actually, I was very surprised when the answered the phone with in a couple minutes. Extended wait to be seated, the waiting area allowed smoking so had to stand inside with no where to sit. Extended wait for drinks, they gave 15% discount for that. Food was not great, all of us in my family of four were sick tour stomachs within 24 hours with my youngest vomiting all afternoon. This was our first experience and last with this chain. read more

To start I'd like to say that I Love Roosters! Their restaurants (I've been known to plan road trips around Roosters Locations) are always full of eye candy on the walls, I've never had bad service at any of their locations. Roosters food is delicious and consistent location to location seldom less than stellar and the staff does well to check back on their peeps. On this visit I ordered sweet Thai chili and garlic, traditional (of course) and a wedge salad. Lot-O-food! Service was fabulous (we were in a big hurry so no pictures or time to chat it up with employees). Wings are what Roosters are known for and they didn't disappoint, the wedge salad was delicious and enough for us to split. The only thing keeping this from being a five star review is the restrooms were less than stellar, not filthy by any means but just so-so and the restaurant floor felt slippery. This is by no means a reason that I would not go back it's just not what I have learned to expect from Roosters. If you have never been here I STILL highly recommend you give it a try, their burgers are also very noteworthy if you don't want wings. read more

Remarkably busy for a Thursday evening. Lots of families with lots of children. This seems to be a popular place for kids to request their birthday dinner. We arrived about 7:00 and had to wait nearly an hour for a table and the only places to wait were in between other tables so we, and many others who were waiting, were in the way of the servers and annoying the diners. This cost them a star. The wings were perfect. Clearly, they have a secret recipe that works consistently, even when very busy. I chose the "garlic" sauce, which was right in the middle of the hotness scale and plenty spicy enough for me. Plenty of draft and bottled beers to choose from, including some risky craft brews but also some national brands that I recognized. Pricing was quite reasonable - two $$ is about right. Mmmmmm mmm!!! This place has hot some friggin tasty food! A friend and I were shopping in Huber Heights today and, naturally, worked up an appetite. We've both never heard of Roosters, so we stopped in. Here's what we had: My buddy: She got a bacon cheese burger - it was HUGE!!! She also got a side of chili cheese fries and a side salad. The fries were like potato wedges covered in actual chili. Not that canned Hormel crap... Real chili! Me: I had the BLT, no mayo of course. It was giant. It's served on a hogie type bun and is full of bacon. I also downed an order of fried pickles. I'm picky when it comes to fried pickles but these were superb! Munched them down!! Oh, and about five glasses of sweet tea. Because it was actually really sweet.....mmmmmm. When the bill came, I was shocked. So, I picked up my friend's bill too. She did do all the driving for the day, after all. My meal totalled around ten bucks, hers was around fifteen. Not too shabby! Oh and the server, Erin, was super nice, too! We stayed at the Hampton Inn across the street and ordered our dinner late (9pm). We were told it'd take 45min for our order to be done which was no surprise considering how busy they were. We ordered 2 kids meals with mini corn dogs, curly fries & applesauce, a BLT, two orders of 5 wings and some onion petals. When we went to get our food, 30min (15min earlier than we were told it'd take) later and got back to our hotel room (directly across the street) our food was cold and tasted like it had been sitting for for quite a while. And, they forgot one of the kids meals. So, we had to go back, giving time for our already cold food, to get colder & more gross. I will not order from here again unless we try dining in. read more

I received a quesadilla that was burnt. Burnt so extensively that there was no cheese in it because it had melted out of the tortilla. We also had potato skins ordered without bacon. They looked like there was no bacon but it was under the cheese. The previous time we ordered from this location we had an order of potato skins without bacon which hardly had any cheese and they were burnt. The time before that we received potato skins covered in bacon. We get takeout from this location which is a 25 minute drive for us. We used to get good and correct food from here but after 3 times in a row receiving bad food we won't be going back. read more

I've been to the one in Springfield a few times and it's always been fine. (I mean it's a burger joint, and it's not my first choice, but it's cheap and requires no brain power, meh.) Today we were at the RAVE in Huber and decided late lunch was in order. Since it's my parents fave place, they go sometimes twice a week, we headed over. We should have stuck to Springfield. My dad first spilled his drink (he can halfway see), it took over five minutes to get someone to help us, we had to grab napkins off the checkout to wipe our own table down. Then we had to ask for his glass to be refilled. We ordered cheese and bacon tots to start with, they didn't come out till we were all halfway done with our entrees. Seriously. My mom ALWAYS get the fried chicken salad, it like her FAVE thing. 2x a week! She knows how it should be done she's had it *so* many times. This time they came out extra dark, nearly chocolate brown, the chicken was dry dry dry. She had trouble chewing it. My burger was fine, the meat was done right, but the bun had been over toasted and likely left out, as it made noise when I tapped it on the table. I managed to get my teeth through it. We would have told our waitress but she barely breezed once we started eating. (The manager never came over at all. Saw him once at the register.) She spent more time on other tables than with us, I watched her visit a table next to use over 6 times. My drink actually went dry as I watched her fill theirs - twice. And I wasn't drinking it that fast. I hope this is just a bad day, but so far I think we'll stick to Springfield. read more

Packed house but the servers were on top of things. I found it weird that we were not seated but told where to sit " 4th high top on the left" and we sat ourselves. That was different. I went to Roosters today for the first time since covid. A lot has changed the wait service was slow and not that great. Seemed there was a lot of milling around and talking and not so much waiting on customers. One person brought drinks, one took the food order and a different one took the money. I was short-changed a dollar and I asked the lady about it. She was nice and apologized and gave me the dollar I should have gotten. The food menu seems to have changed since the last time I was there. I found it to be expensive. A large green salad 10 wings and 2 drinks were $30.45. Not as good as it once was. For lunchtime, it was not all that full of customers. The food I had was good. and the girl that brought the food was good but too many hands in the fire so to speak. I've been going to Rooster's about three times a month for awhile now. The one in Huber has much different atmosphere than the one in downtown Dayton. The service is fine, but the wings have been a little dry some of the times I've gone. The chicken itself is right on, but they have been stingy with the sauce. I can taste it but there's no extra sauce pooling under my wings, or even visibly on the chicken, and I don't like that. Going ask them specifically for a lot of sauce from now on. But why do you go to a restaurant? To eat. The food was below average to poor. 1.5 stars. It was NOT fresh. Everything tasted as if it had been through a thaw freeze cycle a tone or two. My chicken parmesean sandwich had plenty of sauce, but the meat was soooo dry. The mozzarella sticks and skins were also dry. My kids had similar complaints. Our first time here, we had a gift card, they were very busy and despite servers clearing the tables they for us seated quickly. Our service was very good too--Kayla was very friendly and helpful. I usually go here with a friend who has a thing for a few of ther menu items. I stick with the chicken fingers. Food is usually pretty good. Never had a problem with portions or quality. Decent selection of beer. Pros: Good food, clean restaurant. Cons: A lot of apparent regulars that hog the attention of the wait staff, primarily In the evening. It can be difficult to get the attention of some of the staff. This location, and Roosters in general. seems to be slowly morphing into a Sports Bar meet Hooters. While not a prude, I think that the clothing worn by some of the female staff is far too revealing for an establishment that also serves children. It would be my suggestion to remember that not everyone is a college kid or construction working trying to get to know the staff. I like Roosters, but I often feel like I am at a bar near UD. Recently at afternoon shift change all the evening servers (who were not yet busy) huddled around the front register next to where I was sitting and caught up on all the latest gossip, some of it inappropriate for a restaurant setting. Staff memebers leaning on the front desk perusing their Facebook and Instagram while on the clock (I had to say good-bye and Thank You TO HER!) is a sign to me that management needs to pay attention.
