My friend and I wanted boba so we found this place close to our hotel. One thing I loved about this place is they had a display of their drinks and what they'd look like. I got the Thai tea creme brûlée and omg it was so good. It was rich and creamy and I got boba and it added the perfect texture and flavor. It was so good. The drink was about $8-$9 which is a smidge more than what I normally pay but tbh it was so worth it. They had the viral fruit ice cream pops and my daughter got the peach one. I've had it before and I think it's so good. I believe the outer layer is white chocolate and tastes like peach. It was $5.95 so it was a little expensive. My husband and I stopped in right at opening because we saw good reviews online. The restaurant provides counter service with a small clean and stylish dining room. The menu has a surprising variety of dishes in addition to the large customizable drink menu. My husband ordered the chicken teriyaki bahn mi while had the pork belly bahn mi. We ordered the shrimp spring rolls to share. For our drinks my husband had the sea salt coffee and I ordered the Thai tea with Creme brûlée and added black boba. To be honest I'm a little sad that I ordered this tea at our first visit because it was delicious that I'll probably never order anything else even though so many other drinks also looked amazing. My husband found his coffee strong and delicious. The bahn mi sandwiches are the best we have had in the area. The bread was perfectly crispy on the outside with soft fluffy interior. The vegetables were fresh and bright while both the pork belly and chicken were nicely seasoned and juicy. We look forward to trying the other flavors available. The only item we didn't enjoy were the shrimp spring rolls. While they were neatly assembled and well rolled they were very bland. Just plain unseasoned shrimp with undressed noodles, lettuce and carrots. We really missed the addition of basil or any herbs. Additionally they were served on an uncoated paper plate and the stuck to it ripping the plate. The peanut dipping sauce was delicious and complex but not enough to bring any excitement to the roll. We also found ourselves wishing that a condiment station or tray had been available with hoisin or chili crisp but to be honest we only noticed the lack when eating the spring roll as our sandwiches were truly about as perfect as you could ask for. Overall we will definitely be back with our teenager who is now jealous that he missed out. The location is also very convenient to the shopping areas we frequent. One of the worst milk tea place ever! This place made me very upset. I wanted to try out this place bc it's next to my hotel. Plus did not feel like driving so I walked here. They have good reviews about this place so decided to try them out. I ordered classic milk tea and Hokkaido milk tea. Very very very bad choice. I regret ordering any type of milk here. First of all, these milk tea did NOT taste like milk tea whatsoever. Milk tasted sour and very sweet. Sweet & Sour Milk TEA??? I went back to the store, I asked one of the worker, "what kind of milk did you use for milk tea?" She hesitated to answer. Lady manager came to me and stated it's non dairy milk, so I stated "why is my drink sweet/sour?" She did not give me any answer I asked the manager if they can make me another one bc my drinks did not come out right and I barely touched it. She refused to make it Manager stated what is wrong with it, it's milk tea, I told her, milk seems to be old, tasted sour, and very sweet, I stated this is NOT milk tea. I explained to her that I have worked and managed tea place for 6+ years and I know how to make milk tea from scratch. She is literally arguing with a customer who managed tea shop. Told her this is not the type of milk you use for milk tea. I asked her politely change my order to regular tea drink. She refuses to change my drink. She is furious about there's nothing wrong with the drink. One thing she needs to know is that, I am lactose intolerant, these drink got me sick. I told her Asian person to Asian person, this is not milk tea. If you CANNOT make simple milk tea, You shouldn't be running milk tea business. My milk tea was sweet and sour, milk they used, it was chunky. If she simply replace my drink to regular tea then this review will not put up. I don't live around here. She kept asking, "what is milk tea suppose to taste?" Are you serious? If you run a business, you do not argue with a customer, just make new to avoid conflict and resolve the issue. Poor manager skill. Anyways I will NOT recommend anyone to come here. If you want tea, go to gong cha place.
