From my first phone call they were very friendly, caring and accommodating to my problem. I was seen within 2 days of my call. From the moment I walked in I felt like everyone there was my friend and was made to feel at home. My appointment was on schedule, actually they were ahead of schedule and got me in 15 minutes early. I was given a thorough exam for my issue, I was informed of my options and associated costs very clearly. Questions were asked and answered in a manner that you didn't need a PHD to understand. Fast forward to today. I had 2 teeth to extract which went well. Dr Chun went over all my after care with me very clearly and made sure I understood that if I had any problems or concerns that his cell phone number was in my after care packet and to use it if needed. Trying to leave was difficult, the amazing ladies in the office were so friendly and fun to talk to. I felt like they were old friends. Fast forward to a few minutes ago and Dr Chun himself called me to check in and make sure I was ok and didn't have any issues or questions. My oral surgery began with an evaluation that was thorough and Dr Chun responded to my questions and concerns in a most caring manner. I have a ton of dental work and I struggle with panic attacks (dental appointments cause me a great deal of stress). I have received excellent care and the office team works efficiently and with concern for the patient. I made an appointment as a new patient since I got new insurance. After filling out the paperwork, I waited about 25 minutes to be called in. A patient had arrived after me and left before me. When I got called into the patient room, the dentist came in and had a seat. He asked me why I was there and I said for a cleaning and x-rays. He responded with "You're just here for a cleaning and x-rays?? Why couldn't you do that with your previous dentist?" in an unfriendly tone. I said because I got a new insurance. He kind of just looked at me and then got up and left. I felt so unwelcomed by this and even asked the dental hygienist if he was a general dentist because he made it sound absurd that I was there for a cleaning. He was the dentist my new insurance had assigned to me by default, I didn't specifically pick him so like don't flatter yourself. He came back in the room for the cleaning and let me tell you, it was so painful, literally the most painful cleaning of my entire life. He did the metal scraping part and it felt very rushed too. I kept on flinching due to how painful it was. He was even trying to talk politics with me. He asked where I was born and if I was born there or here in the US. After that, he started mentioning BRICS. I thought that was super unprofessional and I felt very uncomfortable. After he was done with the scraping part, he told the dental hygienist to finish the rest and left. I have to say, the dental hygienist was really nice to me, she was trying to comfort me but I was so done at that point. If you're a new patient coming in for something simple, don't. This guy clearly only cares about money. What a terrible first impression for a new patient. I'm never going back there again. God forbid you go to a dentist's office for a cleaning and x-rays. Edit: I'm posting this review over a year later because after visiting a new dentist, I was reminded of why I had to switch offices again in the first place. They worked with me and my really weird scheduling availability to get me seen and treated in good time, and were always right on top of the game. Solid five stars just for the office and support staff. Dr Goldberg himself? 10 stars. Any question I had, he answered. He really listened when I told him about my fears and anxiety surrounding my being there and made sure I knew ALL of my options - not just the expensive ones like some offices do. The day of the procedure itself he was just as warm and welcoming and talked to me the whole time as I was going to sleep (general anesthesia was needed). The part that was over the top? He called me at home that same evening just to make sure I was doing okay. I have never in my life had such a kind, caring experience - not just with a dentist but with a medical professional at all! If I had dentists in the past even half as kind and attentive as Dr Goldberg, I wouldn't have ever had the problems that sent me to him in the first place.

Ok so I go in for basic cleaning, upon being seated, the hygienist said that I'm due for an Xray. I told her I'd rather not at this time as I had extensive work done in their office already. She said my last xray was a year ago. I said it's not necessary, then she calls in the new dentist whom I never met before, and I felt ganged up on both convincing me. I said I'm willing to do it next time or in a year. I asked if they will do cleaning without Xray for now, again they insisted with no regard to what I wanted. So I stood up and quickly walked away. Months into treatment, after consulting with my surgeon and other specialists to confirm the surgical plan, I received a call demanding $800 for an evaluation fee. Much of this evaluation relied on imaging that was never conducted, and when I questioned it, the response was aggressive and dismissive.
