Now that I have begun my nursing career, I find shiatsu to be a great addition to help avoid muscle injury and fatigue. Liz is also a licensed physical therapist and incorporates her training and experience in PT into her shiatsu practice. Liz is down-to-earth and friendly and happy to chat with you during your session or respect your preference for silence. She doesn't use any offensive, scented oils or lotions in her practice and you get to keep your clothes on! She makes sure to check in with you to ask about pain throughout the treatment. Her fee is very reasonable in my opinion - $90 for one hour. You pay Liz directly for scheduling and payment so there is no having to deal with the Becoming Center as a middle-man. I became aware of Lady Tatianna quite accidentally in early 2014; I was searching online for any traces regarding current contact information for an intuitive consultant in Pennsylavania whom I had realized, in hindsight, had given me a very accurate intuitive reading 25 years ago, back in 1990. While searching for current information on the man in question via a Google search, I found a mention of him on Lady Tatianna's website, wherein she stated that she had studied with him about 30-35 years ago. However, when I contacted her, it turned out that she had not been in contact witih the man for at least 30 years. In the wake of that brief encounter with her, I eventually contacted Tatianna and asked for a telephone reading, making it clear that I did not have any questions, concerns or issues, and that thus I wanted a basic life reading; she knew relatively little about me at that time, and I wanted the reading to be as much a "cold reading" as possible. Tatianna agreed to do the reading under those somewhat restrictive terms, and, after I had sent her the funds via an online paysite, we set up a time for a one-hour phone reading. I found Tatianna's reading to be quite accurate. She and her guides and angels saw/knew a number of very significant things about my current life and my past, and about my life path and my inner world, that she could not have learned in any other way (i.e., via an online search, etc.). And, best, she was able to tie all that together in a meangingful way. I had never tried reiki before I met Marie. I arrived at her office a few minutes ahead of my appointment and filled out the necessary paperwork. The waiting room has plush furniture, smells beautiful and has soft lighting. When it was time to begin, I entered the room with a table (similar to a massage table.) The natural light pouring through the windows, calming music and lovely and minmalistic decor all added to the feeling of peace I felt immediately. I laid face up, got comfortable and the session began. Since we had talked about what to expect, I felt prepared for the hands held over points of my body (not touching), and some of what was said (some statements, some questions that are a brief conversation between her and I). But I was not prepared for the intense feelings I experienced - like glowing light radiating from my core, a soft, warm blanket enveloping my body, the feeling of my breath in my chest and my heart beat and blood in my veins more significant - both physically and mentally. The entire experience lasted about 90 minutes, but it felt more like 30-40. I was never unconscious, but felt close to a dream-like state for much of the session. Marie's voice was soothing and she herself exudes a bright energy that is both calming and invigorating. I honestly can say that the first session has already helped me. I feel more centered, more in tune with my body, more aware of the way my mind is working and how I am connected to my environment. These things are hard to quantify (I feel 60% more aware!) but I can tell you the feeling is like none other. The myofacial release is very light on the body, and it is almost shocking how little massage is needed to get results. Since then, I have driven down to both her locations for myofacial release sessions and she is so so so fantastic at what she does. I have also done the emotional healing which is also amazing. I have had several injuries from a car accident to dance injuries to injuries from over-working at the computer and even emotional-related things from losing my father suddenly. I have learned one session has better and lasting results than weeks and weeks and weeks of physical therapy or other kinds of therapy that often result in 1-2 days of relief because she also corrects the source of the issue. In fact, after one session addressing the dance injuries, my walk was so free and my dancing was so light and free, that I was able to dance so easily and felt so light! I have overcome a lot of injuries quickly and gained balance in my body and more joy in my life with Jenn's sessions and support. I really like the attention to detail, holistic approach, and quick ability to find the root cause that Jenn exhibits into our sessions.
