Abrina is a facial magician! I love how gentle she was with me during my facial. I felt like I was in paradise the entire time. While I'm all for supporting minority businesses, I also believe in holding each business to the same standard. With that being said.....Victoria was my therapist. I had no real problems with that part. My first service was a body scrub, Victoria did a great job with that. The issue came in when I was provided a robe and then 2 small trash bags were wrapped around my feet. Not slippers, not flip flops...but trash bags. I then walked up to the shower, but had to walk into a room where services were being provided, behind the divider. The shower could've definitely used a little more TLC. After I cam out the shower, I was given another robe, no belt This time....i walked back down to the room barefoot...back pass the room that was occupied. I did mention I was chilly, Victoria turned the air off, but it was still chilly in there. Again...no problem with Victoria. But, if you're going to offer body scrubs...you should be able to accommodate your clientele. I went with another friend who left her own review. I chose to tip well, because I appreciated Victoria, but was not pleased with the overall experience. read more

Worst spa experience ever, except for the wonderful facial given by Abrina. I am reviewing the facility, accoutrements, atmosphere and technique. The facility was too dark and smelled mildewy. The waiting room was not inviting either. It appeared to be well-worn and a bit unclean. The steps that descended to the basement where the services were conducted were not well lit, causing a safety hazard. The basement ceiling was leaking water while I was getting my massage, which also created a hazard. Accoutrements-There were none. No robe. No slippers. This made for a cold body and cold feet when I got up from the table to avoid the water on the floor. Atmosphere-Not peaceful or clinical. The music had sexual undertones. Baby Face. Really? Great singer. Wrong atmosphere. Service, except for the wonderful facial, was disastrous, bordering on offensive and inappropriate. Therapist came too close to private parts. Accidental? Unsure. Perhaps just sloppy. All in all it was a stressful experience. I rarely write reviews, but I wanted to warn others about this unprofessional establishment. I booked an appointment and was let in a locked door by a receptionist. I did not have Carolina though I thought I was booking with her, but I had another female. The form had been copied so many times that it was too pale to read, but they did ask me questions from it and explained it. I was able to request mild scents since I react to strong ones. The woman who gave me the 80 -90 minute massage was very good and thorough. She worked very hard. I went in with a bad back and hip pain which made it hard to go up and down stairs. After 6 days the massage has held and I've been far more pain free and mobile. I'm grateful. read more

Got a couples massage here. Both my partner and I felt extremely relaxed and thoroughly satisfied with the massage. The price felt fair, and I will definitely come back here the next time I want a massage. One thing I do want to voice is a concern about the lack of ventilation in the basement room for the couples massage. There is a fan on but I don't think there's anything actually ventilating stale air. There are candles on and 4 people in the room. Carolina moved around her schedule today to squeeze me in for a massage after I shared that I had been in a car accident yesterday. I woke up today feeling stiff and sore, to the point where I was almost nauseous from the pain. I had a massage with Mike and oh lord! It was amazing! I LOVE this place! I started going roughly a year ago, after driving by and seeing their sign, and have gotten such healing benefits from the deep-tissue massages. My therapist, Mike, seems able to intuitively know exactly where my tension resides and he is compassionate and highly skilled. In fact, my mom was visiting me from an entirely different state, and I sent her to see Mike. He is exceptional! She said, "That was the best massage I've ever gotten." I went to Sacred Paradise as a new client today and saw Carolina Ruiz, the owner, for a deep tissue massage and a facial. I have been going for massages for many years now and I can say in all honesty that this was the best massage I have ever had. I had selected a deep tissue massage and Carolina is truly a massage detective. She found every knot in my body and convinced it to give up under her skilled fingers. This was the worst massage I have ever had. I had an appointment in May 17, 2021 . I booked a massage 10 days after the death of my father hoping to relieve some stress and emotions. I arrived 10 minutes early but the salon was closed. I called the business number and the person answering rudely said to me your massage does not start for another 10 minutes come back at that time. I sat in my car confused. I expected to be invited to relax in the lounge area of the salon waiting for a few minutes prior to my appointment time. When I went back to the salon it was still closed. When my masseuse arrived 2 minutes after the start of my appointment she yelled from her car that she needed to the park. When she unlock the doors she spent some time opening the business turning on the lights and did not even ask me to have a seat. Prior to my massage she did not speak to me much or asked me about what I wanted during my massage. Midway through my massage I burst into tears partly out of grief but mostly out of disappointment with the massage. I reached out to the owner to express my dissatisfaction and never received a response. I would never recommend this salon. read more

I went here for Mother's Day and had the worst massage I've ever had. For starters, they weren't wearing masks which felt surprising. Then I was led to to basement for a signature massage. At first the music stopped, so the masseuse started playing music from her phone but later when the music started she kept the music from the phone on. I started feeling the oncoming of a headache and asked her to put either one off. The music went off again which is when the masseuse called the owner and they came back to the basement to move things around and get things moving. In between all this, the owner thought it good to ask me how it was going. I could've believe what was going on. Her phone wasn't on silent and kept ringing throughout my time there. Super annoying!!! She kept rubbing my back but wouldn't work on pressure points. I kept asking her to work my back and she ended up focusing on my shoulders for so long that it started to hurt. I later found out that my husband had booked the massage with the owner who claims to have all the certifications but I ended up getting a masseuse who did less massage and more rubbing. I didn't feel rested at all but was dying to get done an run out of the place. When I realized that I hadn't been serviced by the person that I had been booked for, I called several times but didn't get an answer. I didn't want to leave a review because I felt the woman had worked on me for that long even if she was no good. But the lack of being able to communicate this hideous experience over the phone, has me here. I would never come back neither would I recommend this spot. read more
