WOW is the only word to describe this little nook. I was welcomed by Sarah, who is a total ROCKSTAR! She is extremely knowledgeable about the vineyard, the grapes, the similarities the grapes have with other wine regions throughout the globe, and she is just as cordial and sweet (and patient) as can be. TY SARAH! I ordered a glass and sat down next to a very sweet couple. They had just joined the wine club and I ended up doing the same. Here is their "secret sauce"...THEY DO NOT CHARGE A MEMBERSHIP FEE!!! What?!? Hello Napa/Sonoma...take note of this practice and implement to further your followers/customers. Instead - you take home 4 lovely bottles and get 4 each season. You can pick the pack up at the tasting room, or at the vineyard. They also serve bites and Bellatrino at the market will deliver a hot, fresh Italian (thin) pizza right to you in the tasting room. A young man from Bellatrino came in with samples of the Quattro Fromage pizza - holy cow! Delish! (They also offer a cauliflower crust for the gluten-free peeps). Support these 2 local gems...you will not regret it.

I've visited the location down in Houston before, but this was my first time at the Dallas location. We came to Dallas from Vegas for a Bridal party trip. As soon as I saw Dallas had a location, I recommended it to the party! Our reservation was right when the place opened. I believe we got 4 pours of wine with our charcuterie board. The board was well put together with everyone's allergies taken into account. Service was amazing and the party was able to purchase wine as well. We learned some stories about the owners which was very cool hearing the history behind some of the wines. We went through the 5 S's which I remember learning at the Houston location. Love the consistency. Again I'd recommend this place a million times!

Wine prices are reasonable whether you're ordering by the glass or bottle, and I enjoyed supporting this Black-owned business. That said, if you're visiting for the first time, you can't explore the member wines and decide whether a membership is right for you. Sorry no Champagne bubbles for you ‍ gotta be apart of the club. The service was sweet, though, and the overall vibe was chill and welcoming.

Come to find out - this place is actually the "Bishop Arts Winery," and only opened up a restaurant a couple months ago! We arrived at 7, and we were the only guests there for an hour as the musician set up to play. By the time 8:15 rolled around, the music was in full swing and the 7-10 tables were all occupied by old couples, groups of friends, and even a family with 3 young kids! Although the space itself is small, it wasn't claustrophobic at all - it was homey and nice. Not too loud either. The ambience was very romantic; I loved the interior decorations that made it feel like little Italy and home all at the same time. Now for food - they bring out hot, Parmesan dusted bread as you order and wait for your food...mmmmm. We got the BAW Cabernet Sauvignon by the bottle (24.99) and she let us know that it would be $8 per glass, so it's a bit cheaper to go for the bottle. We had heard good things about the cheese board, so we got a small. Perfect appetizer: at least 6 different tastes of cheeses, salami, different spreads and jams and crackers. Loved it, perfect for 2 people. Our waitress also inspired us to get this fried artichoke/crab meat ball...sounds weird but it was SO GOOD!!!!! Show stealer for sure. I got the classic spaghetti marinara, and Trip got the Bolognese lasagna. Both were impeccable, we are every bite - and the portions were generous but not excessive! Our service was awesome - it felt like they had at least 3 people circulating the small room to make sure everyone was taken care of. Wonderful experience and can't wait to go back!!!

I loved my apple chardonnay and they have frozen sangria (mango or blackberry) for $3. Perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day! The cheese plate was shaped like Texas! Everything from start to finish was yummy and they have plenty of tables with a jukebox they are cranking up soon. Live music on the weekends and they are open til midnight. Come check it out!

Until this past weekend. We went in for my partner's birthday, and I'm sure glad we did. They normally don't like rich desserts or cakes, but they love pretty nice, high end dark chocolates. Chocolate Secrets did not disappoint. We arrived with our family, including two little ones in tow. They actually treated our kids with such love and care. It was slightly understaffed, but even then the service was excellent. We ended up taking a box of nine chocolates to go. Pro tip: they also host jazz nights on most nights. It also seems like a really cool spot for hosting events. My favorite so far was the Yes Yes Yes Truffle. It has milk chocolate, dark chocolate, and white chocolate. All in all, a Dallas institution that I'm so glad I went to.
