I enjoyed this winery. Affordable prices and tasty blends. A cool place to hang out with friends or for a meeting.

This is a new wine bar in the heart of Bishop Arts! My boyfriend and I came in to try out their wine. Upon our arrival the staff greeted us instantly and seated us at the bar! The staff was great, it was a bartender and the owners. They were helpful in helping us choose the perfect wine for us. They told us about the membership program they have (which i could have done without, as it was unsolicited). We did learn that if you go to all 5 locations you get a $25 gift card, so that's cool. We love sweet dessert wines, which they had a bottle of both a white and red option. We picked the white wine. This was so delicious!!!! The inside of this bar was beautiful, elegant, modern, and extremely clean! It was a nice place to sit and chat with my boyfriend! We will 100% back here again! Great staff, beautiful bar, delicious wine!

The ambiance is lovely, warm, and welcoming. I love the vibe here. The wine is delicious did the tasting which is excellent to get the full tasting of their vineyard. The service is excellent. Isabell and Allie are fun, and they are full of knowledge about the wines. So, if you are in the Dallas area or bishop arts, come stop by and grab a glass of wine.

Yay Barons Creek Bishop Arts is officially open! This location just makes sense for them! A town square boutique vibe, to keep its local charm. We came by to pick up our November wine order and enjoy a glass. This location has two bars on either side of the space. I love the furniture gives a dark and cozy vibe. Stop in today!

Ernesto the chef kills every dish. He makes specials weekly which are always stellar!

Come to find out - this place is actually the "Bishop Arts Winery," and only opened up a restaurant a couple months ago! We arrived at 7, and we were the only guests there for an hour as the musician set up to play. By the time 8:15 rolled around, the music was in full swing and the 7-10 tables were all occupied by old couples, groups of friends, and even a family with 3 young kids! Although the space itself is small, it wasn't claustrophobic at all - it was homey and nice. Not too loud either. The ambience was very romantic; I loved the interior decorations that made it feel like little Italy and home all at the same time. Now for food - they bring out hot, Parmesan dusted bread as you order and wait for your food...mmmmm. We got the BAW Cabernet Sauvignon by the bottle (24.99) and she let us know that it would be $8 per glass, so it's a bit cheaper to go for the bottle. We had heard good things about the cheese board, so we got a small. Perfect appetizer: at least 6 different tastes of cheeses, salami, different spreads and jams and crackers. Loved it, perfect for 2 people. Our waitress also inspired us to get this fried artichoke/crab meat ball...sounds weird but it was SO GOOD!!!!! Show stealer for sure. I got the classic spaghetti marinara, and Trip got the Bolognese lasagna. Both were impeccable, we are every bite - and the portions were generous but not excessive! Our service was awesome - it felt like they had at least 3 people circulating the small room to make sure everyone was taken care of. Wonderful experience and can't wait to go back!!!

I loved my apple chardonnay and they have frozen sangria (mango or blackberry) for $3. Perfect way to cool off on a hot summer day! The cheese plate was shaped like Texas! Everything from start to finish was yummy and they have plenty of tables with a jukebox they are cranking up soon. Live music on the weekends and they are open til midnight. Come check it out!

Our evening started with a cocktail hour, during which we got to meet other guests over a glass of Roots & Water cabernet. We loved the cab - light and elegant. Once we were seated, we started with a glass of champagne with east coast oysters. For each course, one of the chefs came out to explain the dish and the inspiration behind it. Chef Adrien explained to us that he and Mollie had curated a menu of aphrodisiacs for Valentine's, and the oyster was prepared in a way that brought out ocean feels. We definitely tasted, felt the ocean waves with the soft red beet foam atop the oyster! Our favorite course of the menu was the soup/pasta dish - fideo noodles with tomato saffron brodo, generous pieces of lobster, and crispy leeks. I'm usually not a fan of tomato-based sauces, but this soup was SO delicious! Not too salty, not too powerful in taste, just right. The noodles were done al dente, with a slightly firm texture in every bite. And the lobster pieces were so soft! We devoured every bite of the entire meal, but we ultimately agreed this course stood out the most! The main was definitely a hit, too! It was braised Texas wagyu with root veg puree, herb emulsion, mushroom, and lots of truffle! We loved the strong flavors of the wagyu paired with the puree - so soft, so fluffy, subtle in taste. And the red that went with it *chef's kiss* We were also impressed with the potato dish - ambrosia fingerling potato with duck fat, burnt crema on top with caviar, ikura, trout roe. Who woulda thought caviar and roe go well with potato! And the crema to balance out all the flavors. We liked how the potato was sliced into perfectly thin pieces for each bite. For the dessert, the panna cotta was paired with a white wine, which we appreciated, as we're not big fans of port/dessert wines. We liked the balance in flavors with the sweet-citrusy taste of the panna cotta and the refreshing white. All in all, I could feel every ounce of attention and love poured into every dish, and we were very, very happy campers by the end of our dinner experience. Thank you to Roots & Water for hosting, as well as the chefs and sommeliers for curating an all-around beautiful experience. We hope to be back soon for some wine tastings!

WOW is the only word to describe this little nook. I was welcomed by Sarah, who is a total ROCKSTAR! TY SARAH! I ordered a glass and sat down next to a very sweet couple. They had just joined the wine club and I ended up doing the same. Instead - you take home 4 lovely bottles and get 4 each season. You can pick the pack up at the tasting room, or at the vineyard. They also serve bites and Bellatrino at the market will deliver a hot, fresh Italian (thin) pizza right to you in the tasting room. A young man from Bellatrino came in with samples of the Quattro Fromage pizza - holy cow! Delish! (They also offer a cauliflower crust for the gluten-free peeps). We tried a few bites - the patatas bravas, which are thinly fried potato chunks lightly dusted with paprika and topped with garlic aioli. It sounds simple, but was ridiculously addictive, and we found ourselves ordering another serving that night! We also tried the steak, which was perfectly cooked to our desired temperature (medium rare), but was otherwise pretty simply prepared, served atop steak sauce. And we also tried the burrata which came as two small pieces of toasted bread, juicy burrata and charred broccoli (also a simple but satisfying dish). All of the dishes are pretty small, so you would probably need to order at least a handful for a couple to feel pretty satiated, but that makes it fun to try more wine at the same time ;) We were curious about the pork belly, which the owner proclaimed to another guest that night to be "her favorite item on the menu." We can't wait to try that on our return visit (with another order or two of the patatas bravas, and maybe the tostadas too!). Definite recommend for a cute date night off the beaten path!
