STELLAR!!! I had the pleasure of making this my every evening spot to go to, during my stay this week. There was nothing to complain about. The food, the Service, standing ovation!!!!! and the ambiance was just what the doctor Rx. Thank you

The service was great and so was the vibe. We all enjoyed our food and drinks--with the exception of some very bland mixed vegetables that looked like the came out of a bag. My friend was a bit concerned that they couldn't do any modifications of her order, but it worked out.

Great restaurant in a convenient location. I seen the positive reviews for this restaurant and wanted to try it out. We were seated immediately without a reservation outside. Our waitress was very nice and the service was pleasantly quick. My husband ordered the mofongo and I had the red snapper. The food was simple and clean yet so flavorful. When I'm back in town, this will be the spot I take my friends to.

Ropa Vieja is great! My mojito was delicious- the right about of sweet and tangy. I got the penne with chicken in a butter sauce and it was perfect. Not too buttery and the chicken was nicely cooked. We had great service and the outside area is really nice for eating dinner at night.

We thought this restaurant was a tourist trap but it turned it to be decent. It was the first restaurant we ate at when we got to Puerto Rico. After being on the island for 10 days, we had plenty of time to try other places, and I'd recommend something more local/ mom&pop type place.

My wife and I were in Puerto Rico for a long weekend and this restaurant was right by our hotel. Very nice interior and we were greeted by a genial server. I ordered what I thought was a "Puerto Rican" beer, but it turns out it was a Puerto Rico "Style" beer. It was tasty though. I ordered some fried plantains and a Cuban sandwich. The dipping sauce was tasty for the plantains and the Cuban sandwich had some of the best Cuban bread I have ever had and just the right amount of mustard and pickles. We liked this place for one of our first dinners out and was one of many great places to eat in Puerto Rico.

It's my first time in Puerto Rico and this place was recommended by my taxi driver who I'm so glad I listened! I ordered the ropa vieja plate and it was 10/10. The flavor was incredible, the portions were great, and everything tasted authentic and fresh. I would definitely be back!

Don't order the fish. It is old and pricy! Service was good but did not get any discount for old fish that we did not eat!!

Fried pork (YUM) with Mofongo (just meh), and side garlic sauce (not a fan)

Exactly four years later, I returned--and I have to say, I adore past me for leaving such a helpful review. I followed my own advice and ordered exactly what I recommended... and it absolutely delivered. I went with the masitas de cerdo (fried pork chunks), tostones, and congri (rice and beans). The rice was just okay, but the pork and sautéed onions? Incredible. Perfectly crispy on the outside, tender inside, and packed with flavor. The sauce the tostones come with is very common accompaniment but I'm not a big fan of it. To drink, I had the passion fruit mojito--refreshing, not overly sweet, and honestly, I could've had three more. We actually loved it so much, we came back again during our trip. Our go-to order is now locked in: masitas de cerdo, tostones, and fries. Pure comfort food perfection. The only heartbreak? They only offer Tabasco--no proper hot sauce in sight. As someone who grew up on Caribbean flavors, this felt like a personal betrayal. Tabasco with this food? Absolutely not. A few other notes: * Like many spots in Puerto Rico, the menu is accessed via QR code--so having Wi-Fi is essential. * Thankfully, they do have Wi-Fi. * They also sell cigars if that's your thing. * And the outdoor seating is lovely--great vibes all around. So glad I got the chance to come back. Still delicious, still full of flavor, just missing the hot sauce I didn't know I'd mourn.

Great service and great food! We opted to sit outside and had a great experience. I would certainly go back and try more of the menu. The mofongo was amaaaazing. Lots of flavor and sitting in a buttery sauce that made every bite delicious.

Modern and elegant place. Waiter was friendly and helpful. Food was tasty so I had to share (sorry for my messy plate). I felt the yuca was a bit too chunky for my taste. It was good and the seasoning was perfect. The drink was tasty too, just wished it was a bigger glass and not a martini glass.

Waiter was extremely rude! We pointed out a discrepancy on our bill and the waiter snatched the receipt from my husband's hand and quickly switched away. My husband's Puerto Rican steak was literally gray and looked as if it had been boiled in water. The chicken in the Arroz Con Pollo was extremely dry. The red snapper had ZERO seasoning. I would never return to this tourist trap.

The sangria however, was not great. It just tasted like juices that don't really work together. I couldn't taste the wine. We ordered the roasted pork and skirt steak. The steak was really tasty, and juicy. But the roasted pork was very dried and hard. It had some good bits in it but there were quite a few pieces that were too cooked to eat. The rice and beans were cooked very well. This is the perfect place for quick local food where you won't spend too much. But if you want a very high quality, I would choose elsewhere.

We were able to snag a reservation but for a late time which was about an hour and a half before close. The service was super great but one thing I wished they mentioned that the bottled water was going to be a $40 charge lol. Makes sense for any upscale restaurant though. Should've mentioned we wanted tap so fair warning, ask cause you WILL get charged haha. We had a group of 10 and for how big the group was, the food came out pretty fast. I don't think we ever had a time between drinks to entrees where we were waiting for food to come out. We got the watermelons mojito for drinks since it was the most raved about. It was good but personally nothing crazy for me. 8/10 score on that. We also curry popcorn chicken, the ahi tuna lollipops, the empanadillas and the goat cheese quesadillas for apps and honestly overall 9/10. This is where I don't like the sweetness part of this meal. The empanadillas were what I was most excited for but it was more sweet then savory which sort of lose my appetite a little. I think if you like that kind of taste then it's going to be good. It wasn't a bad taste at all. Just too sweet for my liking. The curry popcorn chicken was good and the lollipops were great. Again, nothing crazy. The goat cheese quesadillas was good as well but again, too sweet for my liking. Now on to the entree, they didn't have the porkchop since we came late so I ended up getting the porkchop belly dish. When it came out, it looked amazing but then I got a whiff of it and smelled cinnamon. That's when I was sort of disappointed. It was like eating pork but tasting Cinnamon Toast Crunch and as said before, it tasted great but too sweet for me. This one was way too sweet to where it seemed like a dessert item. I just had poor luck and got one of the one items that were sweet. This doesn't tank the rating down whatsoever because I also should've read it had cinnamon. It would've been great if they made a dipping sauce or something to pair it with and not have it on the pork belly itself. I got to try other dishes my friends got which were good as well but I wish I got to try something else. If I came back I would try the sold out item which was the pork shank or the sea bass. I know for a fact the sea bass was amazing. Had a bite of it and thought "I'll come back for that" Overall, 10/10 experience and nothing bad about the place but gotta try different items when I go next time. I understand the hype now

It was locked, so we along with two other couples, walked to see if there was a side entrance.. Nope! We kept walking to the rear and stopped a random parking lot attendant that shirt had a different restaurant's name on it. He asked us if we had reservations for Santaella and we said yes, and he directed us to a rear entrance. Once inside, my friend realized this was NOT Santaellas but a rooftop restaurant with an entirely different name. Visibly perturbed, she asked our server QUESTIONS! He said, it's the same restaurant, however, only the rooftop is open on Sundays and it's named Azotea.. WHAT?!? LOL! Because we took an Uber, we decided to stay a while. The menu was extremely limited, but we decided to try the Tamarind margaritas, which were really good, along with two appetizers, the tuna lollipops and the pulled pork quesadilla. Both VERY good, but the dinner menu was lacking. That said, I suggested we go to STK for the seafood tower that I had my eye on the evening before, so we exited stage right! Shame on Santaella for accepting reservations through Open Table knowing full well they are not open. I'm giving them two stars because Azotea was decent but it definitely wasn't what she was going for!

The beef empanadas and breadfruit gnocchi were also highlights. My one criticism is that the tasting menu didn't feel particularly cohesive. We started with yellowfin tuna, moved on to wood-roasted fish, then suddenly shifted into Italian territory with breadfruit gnocchi in a rich buttery sauce before continuing on to beef steak and duck. Individually, many of the dishes were delicious, but together they felt more like a sampler of the restaurant's assortment of dishes rather than a thoughtfully sequenced tasting menu with a clear theme or progression. That said, the quality of the food, generous portions, and outstanding service made for a very enjoyable evening. If you're looking to experience a wide range of the kitchen's offerings, Cocina Abierta delivers.

So this is the 2nd time going to Orozcos. You can find it in Diners Drive-ins and Dives. So after a…read moredisastrous attempt at sushi across the street we decided to keep it simple and go to the place in Condado that is guaranteed to be great authentic Puerto Rican food. Coño! It was good! I'm Puerto Rican and I was born and raised in Puerto Rican culture and I can say Orozcos is legit. I ordered their amazing Chuleton Kan Kan with arroz con gandules. (Big crispy pork chop with yellow rice and pigeon peas) It was delicious but you have to eat it traditionally with your hands. Don't try to be proper just dig in like the locals do. Just treat of a piece, eat it and then eat some rice. Mmmmm!!! Don't forget their signature hot sauce it's delicious but not too spicy. My daughter and wife ordered the monfongo with Bistec and mini empanadillas which is a regular beef empanada cut in half. Mix some of that hot sauce with it and BAM! You got the perfect appetizer. The monfongo was their star. I was chowing down on my pork chop but I had to steal a few bites lol. The beef was tender and delicious and the monfongo was soaked in the steak sauce, it was bliss! The staff were funny and very efficient and they all helped each other out. The atmosphere was personal and small with amazing salsa music playing and air conditioners blasting. It was so comfortable I highly recommend Orozcos!!!
