Let me begin by saying DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY! We gave him $30K to do all our wiring in our house and they do not know what they are doing. He sends amateur electricians to do the job. We had to hire another company to clean up their mess. There was live wires left and the house has constant power surges due to them not adding the correct voltage throughout the house. We tried reaching the Owner at least 50 times-we called, texted and left voice mail messages to have him fix his mess and he did not answer or pick up our calls or Text messages. The only time he called us was when he wanted to stop by and pick up money during the job. HE AVOIDS calls to fix any issues especially after you pay him. Very professional service ! Friendly electricians and easy to schedule and receive a timely service. Tom is top notch. Loved the way my 4 ceiling lights were installed today. ROS came with everything necesary and consulted with me for final placement of lights to be sure I was happy. Jose was efficient and moved at a great pace while keeping everything clean! Very disappointed with their lack of professionalism and poor service/communication. When Tom the owner shows up he is very accommodating and will "yes" you about the work; however once he sells you on the job/price he is nearly impossible to reach. On six different occasions I attempted to reach him before the work was to be done about mistakes on the estimate (via email, text, phone) and to coordinate about the brand/products to be installed. The communication on the owner's part was poor. He sent one of his employees to our house to perform the work. He arrived at our house and had absolutely no idea what was supposed to be done. I solely put this on the owner, how do you send an employee to a customers home without him having the specifics on the estimate/job-work order? He was unprepared and did not have the necessary parts. He had to leave on multiple occasions to purchase items. Needless to say some of the work performed was unsatisfactory. In addition the bill was incorrect and we were overcharged. I would not pay the owner until the work was corrected. On two different dates representatives of the company were to stop by, however we did not connect -- It was months before they finally came back. The owner Tom saw the mistakes made, and said he would make sure they were corrected and would discount/reduce the bill for what occurred previously. The day they fixed the mistakes, the bill I received was higher than the original bill. After calling Tom to question the higher bill and discount I was suppose to receive, I finally had enough and wrote him a check for $200 higher than it was suppose to be just to get rid of him and be done with his shoddy, second rate work. The kicker on all of this is he missed a major dangerous hazard that forced me to have PSEG come out and shut the electricity from the pole and have a different electric company finish the work. read more

Could not be happier! I had an electrical problem, and first I called another company. Their estimate nearly gave me a heart attack! Then I called ROS Electric. Jose' arrived within the hour, and he diagnosed and fixed the problem within another hour. He was friendly, courteous, and not only knowledgeable, but plain old common sense smart. That's hard to find! I couldn't believe how reasonable the bill was, especially after that first terrifying estimate! I will never use any other electrician, and I will be recommending ROS Electric to all my friends! :) read more

I scheduled an appt and no one showed up. I called 30 minutes after appt time, no answer, and voicemail was full so I could not leave a message. 24 hours later and I still have not heard from anyone. STAY AWAY read more

Tom and the crew were nice and they cleaned up after themselves very well. The price was competitive compared to other estimates we received for the job. However, the work itself was very sloppy. I would not recommend them. read more

So I woke up in the middle of the night to not having any power in a portion of the house. After doing minor trouble shooting to no avail I called Ros Electric after seeing the positive reviews on Yelp. The receptionist who handled my call was very courteous and quickly gave me an appointment within the hour. The electrician who arrived right on time Shawn was great. He surveyed the issue and informed that it appeared to have been a dead wire but was unable to exactly pinpoint where it was since all the outlets had power in them he did not want to make the job more costly by bringing down lights to see where the dead feed was. He explained exactly what he was going to do. By the way I forgot to mention the most important part which was I have a newborn baby who was sleeping soundly in the room next door to where he would have to run some wires. He was very cautious in trying to minimize the noise as much as he could. Even though I told him not to worry but it was nice that he was very empathetic to not wanting me to have to deal with a screaming newborn. Needless to say, I am very pleased with Ros Electric and Shawn with his expertise and effectiveness in resolving my issue and restoring power to an already exhausted new mom. I used ROS Electric to do several projects in my home several months ago and have to say he is great to work with. He provided a clear estimate of what I asked, was able to answer all my questions, completed everything on time, and was clean/organized in the process. Some of the things I had him do was install new outlets in my basement, run wiring for a wall mounted tv, install outdoor floor lights, and more. I consider myself picky, but I would highly recommend him to anyone. GREAT JOB ROS ELECTRIC!!!
