Very poor service. I needed my TV dismounted for wallpaper installation. When they didn't arrive 15 minutes after the scheduled time, I called just to make sure everything was all right. They assured me that the guy was on his way and would be there shortly. 20 or so minutes later they call back to say that the guy called in sick and can't make it. Meanwhile, I have the wallpaper installers waiting to get to work. I had previously explained to them my timing, and they should have alerted me in advance that they couldn't make it. It shouldn't have required me to call to find out what was going on. Edit: In regard to the business's response: it's not insensitive of me to expect an update when you know timing is important. I was told your technician was injured the day before (it's not like it occurred right before my appointment). And since you knew, you should have told me. read more

This company did not even accept that job was not done well and they will try to do better job for providing more training to their staff. Primo did a great job mounting my TV and concealing my wires - they even installed the backlights I bought for the TV for me and stuck my router behind the TV so that you couldn't see it. Such a clean job, very polite, and unbeatable prices - my quote from Geek Squad was over $250, and Primo was around $125 before tip. Also very knowledgeable about my mount and showed me how to move the TV around correctly without damaging the walls. Chose this business to do my TV mounting based on reviews. Unfortunately they are not equipped or properly licensed to work in upscale buildings. I scheduled an appointment with Linda which initially was a smooth process. My building required a certificate of insurance and a copy of the electrician's license before authorizing the work. This is unfortunately where everything went wrong. When asked for the listed documentation, the certificate of insurance costed a surcharge of $25, only to be filled out incorrectly, and then no response back from Linda until I had to chase her down for 4 hours later for a correction. To make matters worse, they could not provide proof of licensing for the electrician. Instead of calling us and informing us of this, they cancelled our appointment without contact and blamed my building for being "too strict". The documentation that was asked for is standard protocol in many buildings in NJ. Very unprofessional way to handle clients and it seems likely they arent properly licensed to do the work. UPDATE: To respond to you Linda, no we did not wait until the last minute to ask for documentation. You did not provide the correct documentation to begin with and I had to remind you hours later for it. I'm not at all sympathetic to your losses as a result from this review as I've only reciprocated your behavior. You blindsided us with a cancellation and as can be seen in the photos, not a single apology was made for the sudden cancellation. This happened solely because of poor/slow handling of the situation and lack of communication thereafter. I've uploaded pictures to prove how you conducted business with us. Good luck. read more

I called Primo to get a quote, the rep I talked to was prompt and quick with responses. Danny and his associate to came to install my 75" TV, sound bar and a chandelier light on the wall. They were very professional and knowledgeable and did a great job with the install. They made two extra outlets to hide the wires behind my tv, which freed up more outlet space. During the job, I asked them to install a bike rack and cabinet on the wall as well for a reasonable price, they did an awesome job on that as well. For the bike rack I had my own bike kit with screws, but they recommended and used their own screws which were bigger and provided more support. Everything took around 2-3 hours which probably would of took me 2 days to do everything, so it was worth the price. I would definitely recommend them for any small job or tv install. read more

Danny quoted me a good, flat rate for a chandelier installation. Other places quoted me significantly more, or they pulled the shady "hourly rate" routine (prepare to get nickle-and-dimed with those types). Danny and Tommy did a great job with the installation, and they were very friendly. Also, Tommy took a look at some other wiring for me. I wanted to make sure it was safe for a light fixture installation. Knowing I was once an aviation electrician, he encouraged me to complete that job myself (instead of paying him to do it). That's refreshing given my experience with just about every other NJ contractor I've ever spoken with. I'm certain others would have tried to rewire the house. Also, Linda was very quick to respond to my initial quote request, and she was always easily accessible (as was Tommy).
