Alisa found us the perfect getaway! Our start wasn't as smooth as it could have been simply because GF and I didn't make our budget (money and time) clear. Alisa suggested a number of amazing adventures which exceeded our modest intent, some of which were truly drool-worthy, but beyond our current budget. Another set of challenges was that packages for two start from one city, my but GF and I live a 3.5-hour flight apart. Add in fussiness about airlines due to status on one (thus far better seats) and, combined with a modest budget, we were probably the clients from hell. Alisa persevered and came up with a delightful package to Nuevo Vallarta, México, that was perfect for us, with non-stop flights from San Francisco on my preferred carrier. The resort where we stayed was exactly what we wanted--safe and clean, but at a modest price. (I love The Four Seasons and have stayed at a few of their properties but we didn't want to spend for that level of luxury on this trip.) Although she wasn't directly involved in what we did once in the Puerto Vallarta area, she suggested some local companies which led to several incredible whale-and-sunset cruises.
