Ms. Kathleen sent us pictures of them playing and relaxing when we requested and let us know how they were doing. I'm so thankful that she provides this kind of care for our two so it helps put my anxiety at ease when we have to go out of town. Ms. Kathleen was very knowledgeable and very attentive to our dogs diet and needs. We couldn't be more thankful. :)

The scar on his arm probably should have had stitches even though she told me differently. If there was better communication on this I would rate it higher.

We provided pictures from many years ago when we once had an excellent groomer and Moran did everything right! One of our babies has small skin tags and not one was kicked. There were no scratches or sores from the grooming and yet everything was perfect, from the little shaved poodle feet to their beautifully trimmed muzzles and faces. We have multiple family members who board their pets here too, and they are even more picky about where they take their pets than we are, so it gets the seal of approval from many people with high standards. We love Country Bound because they offer lots of playtime outside. They also have their own Facebook page, and every morning, they will update it with photos of all the happy pets staying with them. My kids love to check on how our doggie is doing, and see photos of him running around outside. They are also fastidious with the rules that they have set up about fleas/tick prevention and vaccines, which I greatly appreciate. Before they let you come inside, they meet you at your car and check your pet for fleas and ticks, and will make sure that your pet is up to date on their vaccines (you must bring proof of vaccines). They want to make sure all animal guests stay healthy, so I appreciate that they take steps to ensure this. This check-in process is really quick and easy -- we're always in and out in less than five minutes. I never feel bad dropping my dog off for the weekend at Country Bound, because I know he'll be surrounded by lots of people who will take good care of him, and he'll gets lots of attention.

I have brought my huskies here before, but it had been probably about two years. The groomer that…read moregroomed them before has since left so a different groomer groomed my Husky today. I asked if they still have my card on file and she said that they did. So I told them I want the same thing done that I've always had done on my woolly huskies. Which is just to shave the potty patch trim their paws and shave the fur off their pads along with the bath, brush and blow. I have a 12yr old wooly Siberian husky. I normally groom him at home but his fur has been so dry that I wanted to take him in and get a good moisturizing groom on him. I literally cried when I looked him over and was so upset. She cut ALL his feathering off his legs and belly instead of just brushing them out. His legs look so choppy. I also still pulled under coat out. The top picture in the double picture is what he looked like, the bottom is when I picked him up. I called and asked her why she cut it all off and she said that she thought that's what I wanted. I told her no and that I even asked when I checked in if they still had my card on file and was told yes. I told them I wanted the same as I always got before.. she said she didn't see the card and that she was new there. I just said ok and hung up because I was just too upset. I'll never recommend them and never go back. I'm just hoping his fur grows back correctly. I don't even want to take him in public. I will say he is clean, soft and smells good though.
