Was in the area and starving so I decided to pop in. It was clean, staff was friendly. Food was quick, hot and delicious. Menu was totally redone from the old pics I saw on here. I will definitely be back!

I had dined here regularly before they sold the place and they had a GREAT SALSA BAR. Now... the salsa bar is GONE. No pickled carrots & jalapeños to liven-up your meal. Without it...BLAND. They only give watery salsa that has no flavor to it. Not even a lime to add a pungent kick at all. Like dining out of the regular white food truck at work. No different. The only saving grace is that they still sell INCA KOLA. THE SALSA BAR IS TERRIBLY MISSED and doesn't make going here really worth it anymore. Its just BLAND FOOD NOW. PLEASE BRING BACK YOUR SALSA BAR! OR AT LEAST OFFER YOUR GUESTS LIMES, OR VERDE SALSA. DISAPPOINTED. The young person behind the register was more interested in the small group of young men to FLIRT AWAY instead of doing her job. HIRE MORE RESPONSIBILE PEOPLE WITH BETTER WORK ETHICS instead of allowing their ghetto friends to hang out and use up all her time while they ordered NOTHING!

This restaurant is definitely a hidden gem! They are under new ownership and the inside looks completely different not to mention the customer service. I got the lomo saltado and the meat had a really good flavor and i also got a pineapple drink as well. It has a nice vibe i'd come here again.

This little mom & pop Mexican-Peruvian gem is friendly and wholesome. Don't go expecting fancy décor though because you won't find it. But what you will find is good food at very affordable prices. They passed our chips and salsa test with flying colors; freshly made chips that are still warm when brought to your table and salsa from the small salsa bar that's very satisfying. Jackie thought her combo order of beef taco, chili relleno and cheese enchilada with brown rice and vegetarian refried beans was decent. But she thought the beef taco was the real standout, while the rest was just passable. I was totally satisfied with my taco salad with beef that was grilled to perfection and very tender. And the vegetables were fresh and crisp. We'd gladly return for a sampling of other menu items.

Just stopped by. My first time here. It took me a very long time to decide but one of the guys behind the counter helped me decide on one of their Peruvian dishes. They served salsa and chips at the table which was nice. Salsa was very good. They have a very large selection of meals to choose from. The dish I had was good. I would have given them maybe 5 stars if the fry's that came with it were not so bland. Otherwise the spices added to the dish with the tomatoes won it over...Nice little place. I think it's worth a check out. It's always nice to support the community. I'll most likely be coming back to check out the rest of the stuff. Also to add it's not too pricey either. A star health rating.

They are a bit out of our way, and while good, nothing there was so spectacular that I would make a special trip for it, but it was good. They are located in a strip mall location, very non-descript, and the build out is basic but clean. My daughter had described it as a "hole in the wall, but good food" restaurant. That's pretty accurate. We were greeted immediately and in a very friendly manner as soon as we entered. It seemed slow for a Friday night, but we were on the early side. We were seated at a table and brought water, chips and salsa right away. The salsa is thin and spicy, and had a good tasted to it. My wife ordered a Cadillac margarita, and I ordered a regular. The drinks were a generous pour, and they didn't scrimp on the tequila. The Grand Marnier was brought in a shot glass. Both my wife and I enjoyed our drinks. My chile relleno combo was very good, some of the biggest freakin' chiles I've seen. They tasted great and were served piping hot with rice and beans. We were visited several times by ownership. The service was top rate and very friendly. So...not enough for me to return, but that's only because of distance from our house. We have our usual place 3 minutes away, but that doesn't mean it wouldn't be a first choice for you.

I walked up, gave my name and party size, and was greeted with an eye roll so dramatic it deserved its own IMDb credit. Instead of a basic "we'll have a table shortly," the response came back in a tone that suggested I had personally ruined her evening by existing. Then, in what might have been the most puzzling part of the interaction, she suggested I sit at the bar with my child instead of waiting for a table. I'm all for creative seating solutions, but family dinner at the bar probably isn't the hospitality move most restaurants are aiming for. Unfortunately, the food didn't redeem the experience. The chicken in both the enchiladas and the tacos was extremely dry -- the kind of dry where you start wondering if it had been reheated one too many times. On top of that, everything was noticeably under-seasoned, which is surprising for dishes that should normally be packed with flavor. The strangest moment came when the server stopped by and asked how everything was. I answered honestly and said the food was bad. The response? A quick "thank you." No follow-up, no concern, no offer to fix anything -- which pretty much summed up the entire experience. The restaurant itself looked lively and the space seemed nice enough, but first impressions matter. Restaurants spend thousands designing ambiance, menus, and lighting... and then sometimes forget the very first human interaction is the hostess. Between the welcome, the food, and the lack of response when we mentioned it, the whole visit just missed the mark. If the goal was a memorable dining experience, mission accomplished -- just not for the reasons anyone hopes for when they go out to dinner.

Burritos aren't particularly big here but were always $11, which was acceptable. After tax they're now nearly $17, which is crazy. If it was a burrito the size of an arm like many other places, it might have been reasonable, but it isn't. I haven't been here for over 6 months for this reason. I do miss the food but Hollywood prices for a suburb roadside spot is unacceptable. Another long-time go-to spot for me is a place called El Cancun in Reseda. I'd imagine their overhead is far higher than Mi Tierra but their burritos are still $9 and quite a bit bigger, with a full basket of chips while you wait for your food.
