This time around my wife says she smells something burning, somethings not right. She pin points the dryer as the culprit. We notice the drum is white hot. There are water drops coming out of the crevices. Witchcraft? Demon possession? No, blocked exhaust hose Alex from Swiftec Services explained to me over the phone. He says I can be there at 8:00 a.m. tomorrow morning. Blocked it was! Our poor LG dryer was a mess. Tons of lint had built up inside this thing. Alex took the thing apart and cleaned it thoroughly. He also replaced the exhaust hose. He got our dryer back in business. Before I called him I thought oh great, time for a new $900 dryer! His price was more than fair. Zentek, reached out within the first 15 minutes and said they had same day availability within the hour, which was amazing on a Sunday. Asher and his assistant came within the hour, troubleshooted the range, and determined it was the motor. The part was more than expected for the fan, however, the best option for us given the circumstances. Asher was transparent and very fair for the scope of work that needed to be done. I paid for only the part, and within 3 days the part had arrived, with an install date of Saturday. I would say that was fairly quick! Asher arrived and within a couple of hours had my range working just as new. Since I didn't want to disturb my tenants, I handled most of the communication over the phone. Asher quickly diagnosed the issue as a bad circulation pump and explained everything clearly. He also shared where they would order the genuine part and sent me a quote for both parts and labor. Once the part arrived, Asher reached out promptly to schedule the repair. Above all, I find them honest and trustworthy where their competitors I've used are not. They SHOULD be certified for Subzero service but there is only one company in all of California that is and my experience with that company is quite disappointing. By their service agreement (which gives them the entire state with no competition) they are SUPPOSED to deal with certain emergency issues (like my freezer stopping working) expediously and THEY couldn't/wouldn't schedule for nearly 3 weeks, their excuse being "we are very busy." Enough said?
