To be fair, I went in pretty much knowing what I wanted after agonizing over Consumer Reports and online reviews. Waadt was the third appliance store I visited. Prices were consistent across the board. Most places didn't have demo electric ranges in store since it's low in demand, but they can order anything and seem to have direct contact with vendors. I wasn't in a hurry, so I placed my order with Bill on 2/13/26. He called me on 2/24/26 to let me know my appliances had arrived, process payment and we scheduled install for 2/26/26. I was given an install window of 9:30-11:30AM and they showed up around 10:00AM. The install guys were great. There was of course a problem, as my current range was hardwired to the electrical and there was no outlet for the new one. They said no problem, ran to the hardware store, bought the necessary supplies, installed the outlet and had me up and running. This is exactly why I didn't go with a big box store. Bill let me know his installers were equipped to handle any surprises and they were. Big box stores will only plug it in and leave. Any problems you're on your own to solve. Install prices, with the addition of an outlet, were reasonable. Would I use Waadt again? Definitely!

He determined that he needed to remove the panels at the bottom of the fridge to assess the problem . Showing tremendous patience and fortitude, he spent over an hour trying to remove the panels without success. He left after about 90 minutes, said he would research the problem, and I should call back the next day. There was no charge. I called back the next day and was told that Dmitri located the info he needed to remove the panels but could not return until Monday, 8/31. Upon his return on Monday, he encountered even more difficulty removing the panels but he kept at it and ultimately was able to remove the panels. The drain pan fan was frozen shut. He did a very thorough job defrosting the fan and the refrigerator now is working properly. Kudos to Dmitri for his efforts, extreme patience, and a job well done. Given all the time he spent, the charge was quite reasonable. I am another very satisfied customer.

I kept the parts from the machine that were supposedly repaired by Lifesaver. I was told that these parts looked so worn out that they were original parts (aka: never replaced). It makes me wonder what Lifesaver claims to have fixed last time they "repaired" the unit? I'm sure I will be speaking with Mike soon as I have reported the problem to the BBB.

So we hired a REAL repair technician (Emins Air Conditioning and Heating........who I can't give high enough praise) to come down. He replaced a couple sensors and the board with a NEW one. He pointed out a lot of extremely poor work that had already been done, shoddy wiring and scratched off ID stickers. Also pointed out that the compressor is bad and we'll be lucky to get a few more months out of it. Sweet. That's my experience with Lifesaver Appliance. Sometimes, not frequently, he has to order parts that are not on his truck. He knows his product inside and out. Does not fumble. Fixes, gives us the reasonable bill, accepts payment, and is on his way. If we desire to chat he will as he is extremely friendly, but we respect each other's time. Only wish he could replicate himself for the other appliances in our home.
