This time, they came out to fix a leaking washing machine, and fix a dishwasher that stopped drying the dishes. They fixed the washing machine no problem, but the dishwasher took them a few visits to get it sorted. My gas dryer stopped blasting hot air yesterday - quick conversation with Chat GPT said it's probably igniter - - used yelp to get quotes - this company had great reviews, answered promptly and set up appointment for this morning. Artur arrived on time, very professional and confirmed it was the igniter - which - after dismantling whole front of my dryer, replaced the defective igniter - now my clothes are warm and dry - it broke and was fixed within 24 hours - they fix all appliances - he also mentioned that old ones are built sturdier than new ones..... Case in point - my Whirlpool thin twin combo is 30 years old and this is the first thing I have fixed.... Do not call! you will speak to an operator that will just get your name and number. they said the tech will call me back and charge a $90 diagnostic fee to just tell me what is wrong over the phone. I texted on Tuesday night after hours Quick & Pro about my refrigerator being warm but freezer working fine. They responded right away and sent Arthur out the next day. He had it diagnosed right away. They ordered the part and it was installed Friday AM. Artur probably spent 20 minutes tops to get it repaired and tested. Refrigerator is now working well and saved me the replacement cost. Service fees were very reasonable and they were clean and efficient. I always try to fix my appliances by myself if I can. Partly because I like to and mostly to save money. But my front load washer just completely stopped working. Cycle would start, and then nothing. So we called Quick & Pro. We'd used them before but it was for an issue I knew. This one was a mystery to me. Garry showed up and diagnosed it immediately. He had it fixed in a couple hours. He also said that if the washer was less than 10yrs old he could get a rebate for the "rotor stator", but we could not find a receipt. I was confident the washer is over 10 years old anyway. This is now my second time calling Quick and Pro appliance repair--they will have my business forever! The first time they came to replace the igniter on my antique oven, but less than a year later, the igniter needed to be replaced. I called them and asked about a warranty on their parts or work. They said they would come out and take a look--that if indeed it was the igniter, I would not be charged for either labor or the replacement part. Edmond, one of the technicians the first time, came back--he's awesome! Timely, polite, works clean--and took time to explain the situation. Apparently there is an additional part that needs to be replaced/repaired and is likely the cause of the igniter burning out. Despite that, he replaced the igniter at no charge. I messaged Quick & Pro appliance repair about an issue we were having with our LG refrigerator last week. The estimate cost was $70 dollars which he assured me would go towards any service they provided thereafter. Garry and his son Edward Edwgot in contact with me within an hour and we spent the next day or so working out a time they could come. They said they would try to come after their operating hours and would message me if they could. After not hearing anything I received a call from Garry saying he could be at the house in 20 minutes, this was after I thought they would not be able to make it. Garry arrived and even asked if he should remove his shoes, and he spent the next hour and a half trying to trouble shoot the issue and at the end he said he would work with me to contact LG to get a technician from there out because certain issues were still covered under their warranty. I never felt that he was trying to rush out, he really took his time and made sure I was informed. Fast forward to Sunday our fridge issues took a turn for the worse and I messaged Garry and he walked me through what I needed to check and even tried to contact LG for me today. I ended up having to set up the LG service and they will come out tomorrow to service the refrigerator. Garry walked me through what to say and tell them over text message also while I was chatting with LG at work. Although I would have preferred to pay Garry to fix our fridge, the amount of communication and guidance he provided went well beyond the estimate charge we gave him. I was having problems with my Thermador range two days before Thanksgiving and they were so wonderful. In the end, I reset the range and got it to work, but they still sent a tech technician out to just make sure it was working properly.
