Big Texas Chicken Hot Sandwich
Sebastian H.

Stopped in for a quick lunch while working in the area. I won't lie friends. I judged a book by its cover. My expectations were low and I didn't have high hopes. I got a Big Texas chicken sandwich. You eat with your eyes and the first thing I noticed was the big healthy portion. Then the smell hit as the sandwich was placed in front of me. I started to regret the whole judging the book by its cover thing. Then I bit into it and the inner smile appeared! Chicken breast is my least favorite part of the bird as it so easy to overcook and dry out. This was freshly made and expertly cooked. Juicy with a nice light char from the plancha and well seasoned. It had bacon, Monterrey jack cheese, onion ring, lettuce, tomato, pickles, and bbq sauce. They cook used restraint with the bbq sauce which was a pro move. It didn't overpower the other flavors. Very happy we stopped in. I'm certain this is a favorite neighborhood spot. I would certainly return if I'm back in the area. You should too. ENJOY!!!

Chanced upon this place by mistake when looking for a place to eat in an unfamiliar part of town. Absolutely loved the food and hospitality. If you are looking for large portions of authentic Mexican food then this is a hidden gem. The server took a personal interest in helping us order the right mix of food to satiate the varying dietary requirements and taste preferences. All of us walked away happy, including our 8 year that loves quesadillas. Hope we're in that part of town again so we can drop by. Is definitely worth the drive!

Here's a polished, friendly Yelp-ready rewrite:…read more I stopped in for breakfast at this little gem, and it did not disappoint. The moment you walk in, the aroma alone pulls you in. From the outside it looks small, but there's a roomy back area with plenty of seating. The coffee was fantastic and came in a small carafe--perfect for two cups, though they offer larger sizes too. Their frittata selection is impressive, with so many delicious options. I went with the bacon, egg, and cheese topped with their famous cheese sauce. Trust me, you need to try it. We also ordered the Egg Benny--omelette pieces topped with home fries, bacon, sausage, and that same signature cheese sauce. Another winner. Ask for their jelly!!!! Wink wink!!! Our server was wonderful--constantly checking in, refilling our water, and making sure we had everything we needed. If you're in the area, definitely stop by. You won't be disappointed.

My wife ordered the Smash Burger. A delicious two-patty delight with a special sauce. I had the Loaded Potato "Pizette." A 14 inch flatbread with mozzarella cheese, pillowy home fries and garlic aeoli, this was delicious, the bread perfect, not too hard, not too soft. We'll be back to try the more breakfasty side of the menu. Recommended!

The only small thing I'd change is that I wish the fresh-squeezed orange juice had been chilled or offered over ice. I didn't ask, though, so I can't really count that against them. The carne asada omelette was delicious--perfectly fluffy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor. The tres leches French toast had a beautifully crisp, toasted exterior while staying soft and moist in the center. We were lucky enough to be seated immediately, and the staff was friendly and accommodating, even letting us choose where we wanted to sit. The restaurant has a cute atmosphere with tasteful decor, good music, and a comfortable noise level. The restrooms were clean and updated, and parking was easy and conveniently close. Since we visited on a holiday, parking was even free. Overall, it was a wonderful brunch and a great way to start the day. One thing to note: the specialty drinks are all mocktails, so if you're looking for bottomless mimosas or a boozy brunch, this probably isn't the place for that.

So upon doing my research I came across this restaurant. Now of course upon reading reviews everyone said to get there early because the line can get long especially on a Saturday and Sunday morning. So we arrived around 8:30 on Saturday and we were seated right away because it was only two of us . The service was excellent we were seated right away . Our waiter came out and gave us the rundown of the menu . They had a promo menu because of the Devil Wears Prada movie . I did get a specialty non alcoholic drink from the menu which was excellent. We ordered the French toast and the avocado toast with scrambled eggs and it came with smoked salmon on sourdough bread . The French toast was so good and moist you didn't even need to add additional syrup . The food was delicious and the portion sizes are perfect . The restaurant is cozy so if you have a big party make reservations. But you won't be disappointed I can't wait to visit Brunch by De Martino again whenever I come back to New Jersey . Please check them out you won't regret it .

What really stood out to me was the presentation. The plating is decorative and gives upscale, fine dining vibes, which makes the whole brunch feel elevated rather than just casual. The atmosphere is one of my favorite parts. It has a cute café-style brunch vibe with an airy, light, and inviting decor. It feels relaxed but still aesthetically put together. The service was also excellent--our server was very attentive and made sure we were taken care of the entire time. I also liked that they offer mocktails and allow BYOB for alcohol, which gives you flexibility depending on your preference. Now, just to be real--this place is popular, so expect a wait. It can get crowded and a bit tight inside, especially during peak brunch hours. Parking is also something to plan for since there's limited space (the lot only fits about four cars), so you'll likely need to find street parking. Overall, I definitely recommend Blossom Brunch. The food, vibe, and service are all on point. Honestly, they're doing so well that I hope they expand soon--it's clearly a spot that's in demand and could benefit from more space.

The service was mediocre and did not really add much to the overall experience. I was also surprised that the drinks were served in plastic glasses, which took away from the brunch atmosphere for me. As far as the food, the taste was pretty subpar and nothing really stood out. Overall, the experience fell short of what I was expecting. It was not terrible, but there was also nothing that would make me rush back. I probably would not return.

The drink didn't take long at all to come out as well! Everyone at my table ordered burgers, and we were all impressed. The portions were generous, and the burgers were cooked just right. They were juicy, flavorful, and satisfying without feeling overly heavy. We paired them with fries and onion rings for the table, and both were sooo crispy and delicious. The restaurant itself is beautiful both outside and inside. It has a really inviting vibe, and you can tell they put effort into creating a space that feels stylish but still comfortable. When we arrived, it wasn't too busy, which made for a relaxed lunch experience. While we were there, near the bar area there was a group of people celebrating something with a DJ, and the energy over there looked like so much fun!! Overall, great service, delicious food, and a fun atmosphere. I'll absolutely be coming back!

It is a welcoming atmosphere, friendly staff and cute simple decor that has a communal feel. The specials menu had some fun and exciting choices for st Patrick's day! There was also a listing for blueberry pierogies which we decided we just had to try. I think the concept is exciting and new- but the inside of the pierogies were only blueberries which weren't very sweet. We thought it could be even better with the addition of a sweetened ricotta, cream cheese, or mascarpone inside to compliment the berries. There was a drizzle of some kind of icing which was tasty and went well but there wasn't enough of it. We ordered our meals from their regular menu. They must have polish roots because pierogies and kielbasa show up on the menu a few times. I saw "pierogie omelet" and was sold. You can tell their pierogies are freshly made and it makes all the difference. I probably wouldn't get the omelet again because it was kind of a lot happening at once, however, next time I go I think I definitely would like to get the pierogi platter they offer because I enjoyed the kielbasa and pierogies so much. My sister got a strawberry arugula salad with crispy chicken. I did not try it but I tried a piece of chicken and it was deliciously crisp. She said everything was really good and the strawberries were perfect and ripe. My mom, who got the protein pancake with fruit on side agreed. My other sister got a tuna wrap which she also enjoyed. I also like that they do a 1/2 tea 1/2 lemonade with your choice of flavor. I got the raspberry and it was delicious - not too sweet but the flavor was there. Our waitress was a gem and we never felt rushed.
