After the heavy rains, our front and back yards had over grown immensely. Our backyard looked like a jungle and the weeds (while beautiful in color) had overtaken the front of our house. Our realtor had recommended Rosa's Maintenance when we first moved in and said she was the only person he trusted to do yard work and other home-related maintenance. I gave her a call and let her know that she was highly recommended. Rosa was very friendly and helpful during our initial conversation and provided me via email a quote for the work to be done. It was an incredibly reasonable quote (considering the amount of work that needed to be done) and we set a date and time. Her team arrived on time and got right to work. Rosa arrived a few minutes later to make sure that things got started and that her workers understood what needed to be done. In a matter of a few hours, our front and backyard looked like it had before the rains and growth took over. Rosa recommended tips on how to maintain our yards which I greatly appreciated. Highly recommend Rosa's Maintainence for your yard work. My husband and I had just bought a house, which had a lot of neglected foliage that we needed initially cleaned up, then serviced. I contacted them via the Contact Us form on their website. Rosa reached out to me via text (greatly appreciated as a first method of contact), then by phone when necessary. We scheduled a meeting for Rosa to assess the place ASAP, since it'd been so long since the plants had gotten any love. Rosa was incredibly nice and knowledgeable about the many types of plants. I'd honestly been expecting to just have her quickly glance at the front and backyard, but we took about twenty minutes doing a walkthrough. She pointed out what nearly all the plants were and gave advice on all sorts of aspects: This tree creates a ton of pollen. This is actually a vine and will be climbing onto your porch before long. This plant is actually healthy, it just has another plant growing into/encumbering it, but it will clean up well. This plant won't flourish here because it's in the shade. She offered to relocate mature plants that we needed removed from their current locations. When I mentioned that we discovered the drip irrigation system was damaged, she explained that they also do that. I opted to start with basic clean up, including removing two massively overgrown bushes (practically trees). That evening she sent me the quote for both the clean up and biweekly service. Her prices were lower than I was expecting ($110/mo for maintenance and $600 for the clean up). I texted her back saying that we accepted. The next day they did the whole clean up. My husband and I went over (we hadn't moved in yet) to check it out and everything looked great. Made the backyard feel so much bigger and manageable. Also, during the walkthrough Rosa wore a mask and maintained social distancing. She was super thoughtful and helpful. I can't recommend them enough. read more

Reliable, hard working people, with a great sense of humor and solid gardening skills. I've never had a big yard, with flowers, trees, and bushes; That's why as the rainy season is coming to an end I knew I had to get some help with tuning up the watering system. Then, there was a sign that was formed in a Deal 'wrap'. I jumped on it and purchased it. Couple of days later two guys showed up to tune up the system. I was straight foreword with them. I said, "Look, I have no idea where boxes/controls/sprinkles are and how to set them up. That's what I need your help with." They said "Ok, we'll find out and show you what you have." Half an hour later, they show up with a detailed (and when I say detailed it's like a topographic map type of chart) amazingly good hand drawn, doc with numbers, zones, and controls. Front and back of the house got examined, documented, timers set up, existed gaps evaluated and resolutions suggested. Rosa's delivered excellent service. Due to illness, I had let my backyard lawn get pretty overgrown with the grass (weeds?) now too tall for me to mow. Enter Rosa's, who brought in her professional and no-nonsense crew to tackle the job in under an hour. As agreed, they mowed and put the clippings in my garden waste container. I thought she had quoted a very fair price just for mowing, then surprised me by doing a very exceptional job of edging and completely cleaning up everything. I'm sure this was just a tiny job for her capable crew and I know they do much larger, more interesting things, but I was just so impressed by the quality of work they did - definitely exceeding my expectations. My neighbor hired Rosa to remove cypress trees. Rosa's team began stacking the rubbish in front of my home. When I asked they leave room for the garbage cans that would be picked up the following morning, her workers became very defensive, arguing they had approval. I asked for their business license/contractors license and Rosa lost her temper and I quickly walked away. Rosa and her team are very unprofessional and extremely messy, leaving the project incomplete. This project was outside their ability. They had one person cutting a row of mature cypresses with a hand chainsaw. Happy to share photos of their work or provide additional details as requested. Rosa was very quick to respond. She left me with a diagram of what needed to be done. She agreed to provide a formal estimate and begin the sprinkler adjustment shortly after the email estimate arrived. From that point on I never saw her again. When I called to see what the status was and why she hadn't contacted me, she said that she had been sick and later was on vacation. Three weeks later she called to say that she could begin the work. Knowing her to be unreliable, sick and on vacation (she didn't alert me to either on these conditions beforehand), I knew that working with her would be very unpredictable and contacted another company. read more

She talked me through the issues with my sprinkler system and actually fixed a problem that a previous company could not. We hired Rosa's via Angies List and had them landscape a fairly large side garden. They planted trees and shrubs, installed sprinklers, timer and drippers, laid a full patio and pebble pathway. They were punctual each day and worked without any breaks the whole week. Jesus was very flexible to making changes and added his own ideas describing his ideas with sketches he did in the evenings.
