Found out about a Chicago Style pizza spot so wanted to check it out. They do not have a dining area, so keep that in mind. We ordered two pizzas and a salad. Good good. The pizza didn't really taste "Chicago" to me, but it might be because we had to drive 30 minutes home to finally taste the food. I drove about 20 minutes to get there because I had always seen this place and wanted to try it. I went inside and ordered the pizza, and then drove another 25 minutes home. When I opened the box, the pizza was burned and not edible. I also ordered cheese bread, which was very dry and burned as well. I called the restaurant and explained how upset I was because I had gone out of my way to try them. I was told that she could not issue a refund, but that the manager could. I asked what I should do with the pizza since it was not edible, and she told me I did not need to do anything with it. I called the next day and spoke with the manager, who assured me that I would receive a refund. I explained that I had been looking forward to the pizza for dinner and then had to go back out and find something else to eat, especially frustrating because we had no electricity due to thunderstorms. This happened on August 27, and as of September 9, I still have not received the promised refund. I've ordered from Rosati's Pizza several times, and every experience has been excellent. This is true Chicago-style deep dish, and it's easily the best you'll find in the area. The crust is thick yet somehow light and flaky at the same time--pure magic. This location is takeout only, but they consistently nail their pickup time estimates. I've never had to wait when I arrived, and the pizza has always been piping hot by the time I get it home. If you're craving authentic Chicago-style deep dish, definitely give Rosati's a try. read more

Regional pizza tends to not be done well outside the region that produced it. Good Chicago style deep dish is no exception to this rule. But Rosati's, being from Chicago with a dozen or so locations in the Chicago metro area, brings a strong Chicago pie to Keller. We ordered a 14" Meat Classic. Done the right way, the sauce is on the top, the crust more like an actual pie (think chicken pot pie, but less flaky) and the cheese and ingredients blended with Italian spices and oil so the whole thing explodes with texture and flavor. I eat the slices with my hands, but a fork works too. The 14" was plenty for three of us. I had to explain the style to my partner and step kiddo as they had not had it before. Both of them loved it. Fair warning the leftovers must be warmed in an oven or air fryer, not the microwave. My only nit is there's no dine-in, which creates a group of customers sitting, looking at their phones while they wait on pizza. The worker behind the desk was very helpful, though there was some discrepancy between when the website said the pizza was ready and when it actually was. Either way, it was delicious! read more

Way to much to pay for the quality and quantity you get it was my first and last time ever trying this place

I placed an order over the phone, picked it up, and came home only to realize that part of my order was completely missing -- even though I was fully charged. I called back to let them know, and the man who answered (short, glasses, and incredibly rude) agreed to give me a refund since I was already driving all the way back to pick up what they forgot. When I arrived, instead of honoring what he promised, he tried to argue with me and act like I was trying to get free food... after he forgot my order and he agreed to refund me. No apology, no accountability, not even basic courtesy. Just attitude. I genuinely liked this place before, but after today, I won't be coming back -- and I'll definitely be sharing this experience with friends. Guests, beware of the extremely rude and unapologetic guy with glasses at the front. This was honestly some of the worst customer service I've ever dealt with. read more

This is actually our second time here. Somehow I forgot to add my review last time but we came back, so that tells you something. This is a to go only place. You also have to plan for just a little big longer cook time. We ordered the thin crust which is about 30 mins but the deep dish can be up to an hour. Well worth it! So we ordered the Rosati's Monster-thin crust. It has sausage, pepperoni, ground beef bacon, mushrooms, green peppers, black and green olives and onions. It was piping hot and they were super nice at the counter. The inside is just a counter and a cooler. Very small lobby but quaint. This wasn't even the deep dish but was still heavy for a 14" pizza. Got it home after the 5 minute drive. Even their boxes have a cool closing that keeps all the heat in there. It looked awesome and I have to say, even tasted better. The cook was perfect and it tasted even better than it looked. Plenty of cheese covered the whole pie. The bacon was crispy and big chunks of it. It's making my mouth water just reminiscing. Being from Chicago, as are a few other reviewers here, this is a good pizza and a good attempt at traditional Chicago deep dish pizza, but it falls short. The crust is off - not buttery and flaky. The sauce is flat without zest or a touch of sweetness. And unfortunately, the cheese did not cover the entire pie. The four outside "corners" were void of any cheese. It was also disturbing that the pie was cut into squares, not slices. But the pizza overall was tasty. I also purchased a traditional crust to give it a go. This was very disappointing. The only reason I want to take away a star is because Rosati's put locations way too far away from me, but that's probably for the best. This pizza tastes like home and that's probably because there actually are Rosati's locations in the Chicago area so this isn't a place pretending to be a Chicago pizzeria. And I have been to other Chicago pizza chains in the area but this is the only one that really represents Chicago pizza IMO. Thin crust, default party cut (if I have to request party cut then it's not really Chicago pizza), and slices sturdy enough to stand on their own but not hard crackers...perfect. I always get thin crust...eating deep dish is touristy. This is not a sit down restaurant, you just go in to get your order. A large thin crust is between $20 and $30 depending on the number of toppings. If you sign up for emails they send occasional discount codes. I kept driving by this place and hadn't really gave it much thought until the other night. Coming from Philly, this spot really has something to show for itself. It's hard to get a real good pie from the east coast side, and getting something from Chicago side is even harder. Went the safe route ordering the thin crust just to give it a shot, and also got a side of wings as well. Wings weren't bad at all, just pricey for a 6 count,($9.99). The pizza was very delicious, crust was great, sauce was even better. I'm going to have to go back and get the double dough, I keep hearing about it. Well, I want to like this place better than I think I did. We lost the two as close to Chicago deep dish pizza chains that had come to the Ft Worth/Arlington area over the last 2 years or so. I had found one we enjoyed in Addison but really can't make it out there regularly, so we had been regulated to frozen deep dish from the grocery store, that is branded by the chain that we used to have in Arlington. So far with our first visit, we only tried bread sticks and deep dish pizza. Everyone liked the bread sticks ... and on both items the garlic really stays with you. Everyone liked the crust on the deep dish, the great divide came from the sauce. There is chunks of tomato in the pizza sauce... so if you have someone in the house will do tomato sauces but can't do a more whole or chunk of tomato due to texture reasons they will not like that option, so try a different sauce option. (I would check on the marina sauce if it's as chunky as the pizza sauce.) Apparently Rosati's has a few other locations in the DFW area, but this is the one in the area that is pick up/curbside only. Which in a post-covid restaurant set up I totally get. Especially with as long as it takes for a deep dish pizza to bake, makes it to where dine in tables don't turn over quickly. On the other side of the coin made it tough for my family to actually decide to make the drive over here. It's great due to the 20 minute drive to help cut down on our wait but we end up with colder food cause we have that 20 minute drive back home before we can eat. So a part of me would like to see them expand to a counter service option, suggesting the order ahead but having tables you can clear yourself when your done. There are a few more things we'll give them a shot for; but without the dine in we're likely going to have to visit other locations. read more

We have been looking for a good Chicago Deep Dish pizza location and we finally found it!!! We read all the good reviews and they were not playing! We placed our order by phone while we were making our way there and it worked out perfectly because our drive was 30 minutes and the pizza was ready 3 minutes after we arrived. They have a small seating area for like 4-5 people. Customer service was great and the inside looked very clean. The Chicago Deep Dish pizza that we ordered was still warm when we got home. The pizza looked so good when we first opened the pizza box. The pizza was so delicious, I wish I could have finished that second slice but I couldn't because I was so full. It was so so good! Definitely one of my top 3 pizza locations and would recommend to everyone. Don't miss out on this amazing pizza, and I'm looking forward to trying out their Rosati's Monster pizza next. read more

This place started out great! Absolutely great Chicago style authentic pizza. All of the employees were super helpful, friendly and nice. Sadly this changed owners and the service has gone absolutely downhill. Orders are completely incorrect. Every time we have ordered. And don't get delivery it will show up an hour late and cold, and if you pick up, they will tell you 40 minutes and you end up waiting there an hour and a half with a bunch of other people. The new owner Jesse could care less!!!!! We know several people have complained to him and he doesn't seem to care. he lets teenagers run the show and it is vastly going downhill. Thank goodness for Portillo's because Gino's East in Arlington did the same thing and they shut down in less than a year because of inept owners and employees. Jesse, why don't you turn this over to a real Chicago native who knows how to run a business? Otherwise you'll be out of business soon. That is not to mention their ridiculously inflated prices that we put up with because we wanted this business to succeed....but people aren't going to stand for that with horrible, terrible service. I'm better off making my own pizza at home which is a ton cheaper and even more delicious. Sadly that is time consuming, while this is a convenience, but they are taking advantage of customers and not caring about their overall business shame on Rosati's for franchising this to people who don't care. Jesse has proven several times now he just doesn't care, and the teenagers working behind the counter will flat out lie to you that your order is almost done when they didn't even shove it in the oven yet. It's not brain surgery. You're not saving lives you should get this right but after so many mishaps and screw ups I have no faith you will so I guess someone else will be leasing that storefront soon hopefully a mom pop place that knows how to really make pizzas and appreciate/take care of customers read more

If a restaurant is attempting to make a great deep dish pizza it has to go heavy on the toppings to counter the extra dough. The pizza was heavy like a deep dish. It looked like a deep dish but was too light on the toppings. As other reviewers have said, pay for the extra toppings or skip this place. The geniuses cut their round pizzas into inconvenient squares instead of the normal and conventional, easy to handle triangles. The crust on their thin crust pizza is as hard as a rock and therefore just as hard to chew as a rock. The pepperoni deep dish pizza was delicious, cut like it should have been, into triangle wedges but included peppers and onions that were not requested. The giardiniera was spicy and DELISH on my pick-four pizza! One of the major reasons we LOVE Rosati's. Reason I wanted to leave the review is the kitchen overlooked one of the pizzas I ordered; didn't realize it until the other 3 pizzas were ready to go.
