I must say the bread is pretty good the usual sort of dry gluten-free but with the ingredients on the sandwich, it was pretty tasty. She also grabbed me some tomato basil soup, which was phenomenal. It had little chunks of maybe onion and tomato. Of course it was nice and warm and filled to the top. This place is right by my job so I will be ordering from here again. Probably not my girlfriend picking up. She works all over the place so you never know when she's in the area to do me a little favor. She is quite amazing. I must say.

The interior of Grutogi is cozy and the atmosphere is welcoming. The staff were friendly and I like that they have a section for a pick-up order. I appreciate that they split my cozy house sandwich in half. The cozy house sandwich was fresh and delicious. The cookie was a yummy treat as well. They have an extensive menu which I appreciate and the prices range from affordable to pricey. I look forward to my next visit.

I typically don't like going to restaurants that only serve sandwiches and salads, but the FLAVOR on their Shrimp Salad Wrap was so full of depth. From the sweet and tartness of the mango, to the savory dressing and seasoning on the shrimp, it was all delightful! Not much to say on service other than that the food came out relatively fast which is great for a quick lunch! I will always encourage everyone to support local and small businesses and even more so when they have wonderful food. I'm expecting a good waffle for the price increase....and I was completely disappointed when she brings out what looks like a thin, non-belgium waffle (even though the menu said it was a belgium waffle...) you'd get from another place that serves waffles and has waffle in its name and gets a bad rep for attracting some wild characters. Not knocking that other place, I like their food and you know what you are getting. I digress...but my mention of that "other place" can be tied back to this place in that the food quality is about the same, except here my meal (2 plates) cost $40 and would have been about $20 at the other place. For what its worth, my eggs were cold and the bacon was waaaaay overdone. Not crispy, rather it was burned by grease and old bacon scraps. Homemade, hot, fresh, crispy, and salted to perfection. Catfish? Fried perfectly. Not soft but not "hard" crunchy either. Paired with the homemade tartar is the bee's knees. Wings?
