I contact Rosati Windows for window replacements. Initially they called to reschedule the appointment, but a higher ranking (above the sales rep position) showed up at the scheduled time. I requested not to have the 4-hour presentation, and he was able to give me the necessary information in about 45 minutes- Thank you. The only concern I had was the wait for instillation, I waited about 7 weeks but that may have been advised. I would highly recommend! read more

bought our windows 20+ years ago and they have been good windows. Price at the time was fair and the sales people were very good to work with. Installation went well so no complaints. I noticed that one of the windows had the vinyl cladding coming off so I stopped to see if I could get some replacement material. They said it was covered by my guarantee and had someone come out and repaired it along with 4 other windows that showed they were going that way. good product, great people and unbelievable customer service. read more

(Just after Installment Review) Overall I am really happy with Rosati Windows, I called many other Windows Companies like Anderson, Pella, etc. but they were by far the most price competitive. The main reason I am providing 4/5 stars is mostly do to their lack of communication before the installation process. I had to text/reach out to the sales rep a few times before officially getting a quote, and before getting the Windows installed I had to make sure to call, then they scheduled for the installation the next day. The installation team, Jeff Jolliff, is really amazing and do a good job of getting the job done quickly and making it look great - which make me want to rate them as amazing. They clean up after themselves and are super professional about their installation procedure. I hope to give a further review after a few years have past as well. read more

I am very disappointed in my experience with Rosati Windows. I ordered Provia storm door and paid the deposit in October 2023. The door was installed in March 2024. Unfortunately the latch strike wasn't installed properly and the door didn't latch correctly or kept getting stuck. Someone from Rosati came to fix it next month and he pointed out the wind damage to the door. The damage occurred because the door was not properly installed first time. He bent back some of the hinges and suggested getting a quote for replacement hinges. I was shocked when I heard it will be $800 to fix the hinges which is basically 3/4 of what the door cost. Considering the price and time it took to install I was expecting much better service. read more

Great virgin vinyl window product. Good, quick 1 day installation on entire front of house, 5 casement windows. After installation, one window crank would not fold down correctly. Immediately replaced without question. Only reason not 5 stars was wait time from order to installation was almost 5 months. read more

This morning John Messemer (Rosati Windows and Doors, Columbus, OH) came to see what was the matter with our sliding door lock on the patio door. (There was a cancellation, so he called to see if I was at home, which worked out great for me.) John fixed it and put it back together in no time. What a fast worker. John was very personable, as well. Thank you and I'll call Rosati whenever I need new windows and doors. I see there are some unfavorable reviews re installers here. That was NOT my experience. However, I understand that the lack of skilled labor (such as for window installers, roofers, drywall installers, and painters) is at a critical stage everywhere in the United States. I so hope that Rosati Windows can keep the good talent they have like Mr. Messemer. read more

We're coming up on 3 years into our entire house full of Rosati windows. Next time, I will go elsewhere. * I will start with, Rosati's window installers are beyond excellent. They're quick, efficient, quiet, and clean. This is the sweet spot of Rosati's business. * That being said, later we bought a couple Provia storm doors from Rosati; the doors are great, but the installation experience was not great. It's clear that installing windows is Rosati's sweet spot. We will be buying new Provia entry doors this year, but not from Rosati. * I would swear these new windows let in more noise than our previous 30+ year old double pane windows. * same with outside air. It was especially noticeable this past Christmas. I would swear I could feel active drafts, which I never felt in the 25+ years of owning this home prior to putting Rosati windows in. Someone else here said something about their not insulating at the edges of the windows; maybe that's what happened here. How would I know? I don't install windows for a living. I trust others to do it. Maybe my trust was misplaced. Who knows. * I hate, hate, hate the full size screens. Our previous windows had a half screen in a track, so that we could put the screen up or down depending on how we're opening the window--and we would have a clear view through the other half of the window. If Rosati offers such a feature, the salesman never mentioned it. He just said, "and you get full size screens". I hate not having a clear view outside. Also, even though these screens are technically removable, as a practical matter they aren't. Once you take them out you'll play the devil's time getting them back in. It really requires being outside to do that. Good luck with windows that are higher up. * while I'm on the sales guy, back to the Provia doors: I wanted them to have the fancier door closer, that makes it easy to click the doors open and then unclick it simply by pressing the door open a bit more so that it then swings shut. This is an incredible feature that (a) is only $10 more, and (b) the sales guy didn't know anything about--despite its being in the Provia catalog. I shouldn't have to tell Rosati what their business is. I see a trend here with regard to sales at Rosati. Does Rosati offer windows with half screens in a track? I didn't know to ask, and the sales guy didn't offer any alternatives. But I came to know that the sales guy might just have been bad at his job. We've also come to understand that there are MANY other combinations of look and operation that would have fit better into our house. I think the sales guy was schlepping windows, sign here. The only positive of the sales process was, zero pressure. That has value. We did look around, and one guy came to our house and gave the pressure sale. A week later, after he told his boss that we bought elsewhere, his boss calls with "how about if we lower the price?" No, dude, you could have done that earlier. Anyway, no sales pressure does have value. Anyway. Ask, ask, ask, ask. Question everything. Take your time. Stare at the catalogs and information. No question is too dumb, and the choices in the world are beyond what you can imagine. Ask if they can do what you want. And if you don't like the answer, or if you don't get an answer, don't be shy about moving on and choosing another vendor for this very expensive bit of home remodeling. read more

A good friend recommended them as he was happy with his whole house window replacement. I've seen their ads and I've experienced the high pressure sales pitch from other companies as they mention. The only fault I could find with that ad is Rosati had no pressure sales, but it was sales with a real lack of interest. I replaced all of the windows in my house around 1988. Due to storm damage I had to replace two windows this time. To me the sales guy seemed less interested in my small job. "Here is our window, here is our price, call me. " Had I not had a good recommendation I would have went elsewhere. That said, I'm glad I didn't go elsewhere. The installation went pretty well, though there were problems unrelated to the window, but related to my storm damage that complicated matters somewhat, but Rosati was up front about that. Once the windows were installed, I could tell they are of a better quality than what the original, now defunct company installed previously. I did have a minor warranty issue that they quickly resolved. My only other complaint is that Rosati wanted to send a Quality guy to look at my windows when they were completed, but they weren't very accommodating with my schedule on this. They probably could have been more accommodating with scheduling and billing, but it wasn't too bad for me since I work 2 blocks from their factory. At the end, I like my windows and I wlll probably give them my buisiness when I replace doors soon. read more

I would give Rosati zero stars if I could. We had 14 windows installed they added no insulation whatsoever around the windows and there is an inch gap between the house in all of the windows. They did not install the face on the windows correctly. A couple screens were ripped right off the bat one had a hole in it, and we have been fighting with them for going on for weeks now trying to get someone to come out and make it right. The vice president keeps telling us that no one can come out. He has been argumentative with us. The customer service has been absolutely terrible this is Unacceptable for the amount of money we spent on new windows. read more

Outstanding service and products. Rosati Windows was highly recommended by someone we trust for home repair and they did not disappoint. They met their promises to deliver high quality windows at a reasonable price. The five service representatives they sent were very professional and replaced more than 30 windows in two days. Not only did they thoroughly clean up after themselves, they even removed Christmas decorations that were in the way and nicely arranged them. In fact, our basement was cleaner after they left than before they began. I am a huge fan of the company and their people. A friend of my fiance recommended that we check out Rosati when we were looking to have a window and sliding door replaced in our house. We went to the factory showroom and looked around for awhile before we were approached by a sales rep. I won't say that we got hit with a high pressure sales tactic but he was fairly heavy-handed with the "good" things. Fortunately, we liked the product and the price was significantly lower than lesser quality windows from other places. We placed our order and were told that it would be between 9-11 weeks before they would be installed. The sales rep was pretty honest about how backed up they were with orders/installations. It ended up being 12 weeks before we got them installed. The installation went surprisingly smoothly, there were a couple issues with some water damage around the sliding glass door but they were quickly and capably fixed. And, after the last week of frigid weather, we couldn't be happier with our purchase. We are already thinking about having them come back and replace the other 5 windows in the house next year! read more

Terrible customer service. When they say they'll call back, it seldom happens. Inept installers. Cracked window upon installation, no one called to schedule replacement. I called to schedule and they sent out one guy for a two man job and no window. I rescheduled again and had to wait another month. One guy arrived for a two man job but at least he had the window. Was told the final inspection could be scheduled a few days out but instead told to schedule appointment three weeks out since I work and am not home until 4:00. Lock mechanism on base of sliding door is ineffective, part of window insulation is coming away from one window. read more

I have been waiting a long time to replace my windows in my house after looking at all the manufacturers I decided on Rosati windows, what a mistake that turned out to be. It is now 2 weeks past the expected installation date and I still have no idea when I am getting my windows. I ordered and paid the 1/3 of the money for my windows and was told it would be 2 months for installation, all the other companies were only a month out from installation. This should have been a red flag. I called John Vaccani 2 weeks ago to find out when I would get my windows he could not give me a date. I called Michael Rosati earlier today and was give the cold shoulder and told to calm down by him. So here I am end of October cold weather all ready starting and still have no idea when or even if I will be getting my new Rosati windows before winter. All you hear with Rosati is reputation reputation reputation. Well in the middle of writing this I did get a call from Michael and was given a date, lets see if the make that date. We ordered 10 windows and 3 doors to be installed in our home. We expanded into our covered porch to add a Four Season room. We got 3 bids all in the same price range. We decided to go with Rosati because of their name in the area. We were told it would be approximately 13 weeks for them to get to the project. That was longer that we planned but we went with them and planned our other contractor according. The job wasn't starting until 19 weeks later. There were no update calls only when we called them. When I reached out to the owner Michael Rosati he did apologize and went on to tell me what a great year they were having and he did not want to hire unskilled workers off the street. I said I understand but I shouldn't have been told 13 weeks when you knew you were having a record year. "Sorry" was his only response. The workers brought everything through my house without putting down mats until I started putting them down myself. They also smoked in the enclosure while the door into our home was open. I wish We would have gone with someone else! read more

We purchased a sliding glass door about 4 years ago from Rosati. Very happy from sale to post install. No pressure sales, which is a huge bonus. Install guy was on time. Showed us where the home builder left a huge gap with no insulation. We got a follow up call a week or two later. Big improvement in the level of comfort in our dining room now. Looks very nice from inside and out. One minor issue. Door closes a little slower when it's extremely cold out. Other than we are extremely happy with our door. read more

My house had Rosati windows when I moved in. Nothing fancy about the windows... they do the trick. However, I received some of the worst, most rude customer service I've ever experienced when I had to call and schedule a repair. Filled out the 'Contact Us' online about new windows/doors for a large addition on our house in April of 2017. I never heard from them.

We talked with the sales rep about the project to include wrapping the entire area around the window. When they installed the window they only finished a 3" area around them. When my wife called to talk about the installation the service manager was very condescending to my wife. I had them replace some windows in my house so I would not have maintenance issues, I don't want to keep painting the wood. A rep came out and we talked about what should have been done. I got a call an hour after he left from their office wanting to schedule a time and charge me another $400 to do the job they agreed to do. There is a major breakdown between sales and installation. The installation mgr told me it wasn't written up that way, well guess what, I didn't write it up. I have dealt with them in the past and had similar issues. Should have known better. I've read these reviews here and was surprised. My husband and I had our back windows replaced about 10 years ago and the entire process was good. The small issues with a crank and lock were quickly fixed two years later. We also purchased a sliding glass door with blinds between glass and had very professional installation and good service, although they were odd size so we paid more than I wanted. Today we are going back to see about buying a front door. I will expect the same good service as in the past, unless something has changed since our last visit. WOW....I read some of the other reviews and asked myself if I dealt with the same company some of these people dealt with! I just had a sliding glass patio door installed and could not be happier! Everyone at Rosati, from the salesman to the installers treated me with respect and there was no pressure at all! When the installers left, you would have never known they had been here, except of course, that they left me with a beautifully installed door. The quality of the door is so far beyond anything I looked at while shopping around. I have a couple of windows that I need to replace, and was debating on whether or not to have Rosati do those as well, but after getting the door done, I know I will be calling them for the windows, as well. I will summarize my unbelievably poor experience with Rosati Windows by letting you know that they left my family without doors for 48 days and did not repair the damage they caused to my home for 158 days. Imagine how your family and pets would live without any doors in your home for 48 days; we did not have any bathroom doors or bedroom doors. Imagine the embarrassment you would feel when your friends and family were uncomfortable visiting your home because there was no door to any of the bathrooms. Imagine the frustration you would feel when the president of the company you hired to work on your home told you it was his "number one priority" to get doors back in your home--only to have it take 48 days. Imagine the disgust you would feel when the president of the company you hired to work on your home accused you of not "liking" the paint finish/sheen. Then being told by him, "You have been ridiculous about the paint sheen," only to have him later admit, "We did it incorrectly." This is the reality my family faced because of Rosati Windows. Is this the kind of company you want to hire? Rosati Windows was hired to replace all of the interior doors and closets in my home. This included 15 doors and 4 closets. I indicated on my contract that the doors were to be painted with a semi gloss finish. When the doors arrived for installation, they were not painted as indicated on my contract. The doors were painted with a matte finish. In addition, my home was damaged by Rosati Windows during the installation: A hole was put in the wall at the top of the second floor stairs, a gouge was put in my new laminate flooring at the bottom of the stairs in the basement, baseboard moulding was removed and was not replaced which left exposed nails in every room with a closet and every corner of every closet was gouged and later covered with spackle that was not sanded or painted (despite paint cans being provided). Lastly, the quality of the doors was almost universally unnacceptable: Rails were split due to lock sets that were drilled in too tightly, doors were littered with paint boogers and overspray, gouges and scratches were present, one door was incorrectly measured and could not be installed, one bedroom bi fold closet had a 1.5 inch gap where the slabs met in the middle and two of the bi fold closets fell off of the track when opened because incorrect hardware was used for the weight load of the slabs. Is this the kind of company you want to hire? It is important for you to know that I specifically asked Mike Rosati, the president of Rosati Windows, if his company used the correct hardware for the weight load of the closet doors. He said, "We did not." I then asked if he was aware of the fact that two of the closets fell off of the track. He said, "I do, because they were, they, they sent us the wrong hardware." I followed up with the question, "Are you accepting responsibility for using inadequate hardware?" He said, "No, I'm not." Mike Rosati refused to take responsiblity for the actions of his company that created a dangerous situation. Is this the kind of company you want to hire? I was in contact with the Vice President of Operations, John Vaccani, whom Mike Rosati referred to as his, "Six figure executive." The six figure executive was to help resolve the situation that had been created by Rosati Windows. After nearly three months of phone calls and in home visits with the six figure executive, Rosati Windows agreed to replace the damaged doors and repaint my doors with the finish I indicated on the contract. Rosati Windows originally tried to convince me that they could use a paint roller to fix the paint finish on all of my doors. I said that was not acceptable and that the doors would need to be sprayed in order to provide the factory smooth paint application for which I was to receive with my original order. This required Rosati Windows to remove all of the doors from my home. It wasn't until 48 days later that the doors were reinstalled in my home. Over the course of this time, I was told that Rosati Windows was, "Working as fast as we can" and that they, "Ran out of paint." During the 48 days that my family was without doors, I spoke with the six figure executive and requested on two separate occasions that the doors be reinstalled in my home because of the unreasonable turnaround time. Each time I was told, "No." Is this the kind of company you want to hire? In total, I was forced to take 6 days off of work to allow Rosati Windows to complete a job that was supposed to take 2. How would you feel if you had to waste your vacation time to have a company fix all of their mistakes? Is this the kind of company you want to hire? Rosati Windows demonstrated disrespect, recklessness, procrastination and arrogance during the time it took them to complete the job I hired them to do. Rosati Windows is a big name in the Columbus area so I met with them. I met with a couple other window installation companies and settled on Rosati because the salesman seemed to be patient, the price was better than the other companies, they had a good warranty package, and the name was one I'd heard of in the area. Had I read the yelp reviews, I likely would not have went with Rosati. The did the install in less than two full days, which was nice and the windows seem to be fine so far. I've only had them for about a week so I can't say anything other than that. However, the service really kind of stinks. 1). the person who installed the window in the master bath tub gouged the drywall. No one ever said a word to me about it, nor did they offer to repair the dry wall. The salesman specifically stated that there was nothing that I'd need to worry about with getting new windows, no clean up, no repairs, no painting or replacing trim or drywall, nothing. 2). There is caulk all over my deck outside my sliding glass door. Of course they wiped it, but it is smeared into my deck, so I'll need to re-paint my deck to not see that caulk. 3). They nicked the wall with their ladder where they installed my half moon window in the foyer. It is really high up so there is no way I can reach it unless I buy an extension ladder. 4). They left finger prints ALL over the windows. I asked for them to clean at least the two half moon windows as they were up so high and I didn't have an extension ladder. They man in charge made it know to me it wasn't his job to clean windows!! He did clean the half moon window but was very nasty about it. Crazy, when you buy a new car it doesn't come to you all muddy. Nor when you buy a new phone do they hand it to you all smudged with finger prints. I spent nearly 14K, I do expect someone to clean the windows. I even expressed that to the Installation manager, but he didn't offer to have anyone clean them, he agreed with me, but did not remedy the issue! 5). I asked about the outside basement windows and how the siding looked all off. The man in charge tried to convince me I didn't know what I was talking about, they don't do anything with the siding, the siding was exactly as it was when they arrived, but finally the younger man on the job who installed the windows told me he knew exactly what I was talking about. He said he did the best he could, but again, no one has offered to do anything more to fix the issue and it looks bad. 6). Literally, right after they left, I noticed the half moon window from the outside of the house had a big 1-2 inch gap, or so it appeared. I spoke to the installation manager who had the man in charge of the job call me. He told me he noticed it and forgot to mention it to me. He says it isn't really a gap but the trim needs painted because the old window was covering up some of the trim. He said I could have someone paint it!!!! I said no way, I was not climbing up on my roof nor was I paying someone to come paint it when I'd just paid them 14K. As well, I am not convinced it is just unpainted trim and not a gap. He then did offer for Rosati to come have someone paint it. The "painter" did call me but hasn't scheduled a time with me yet. He was supposed to call me last night, but never did. We will see how that works out. 7). The latch for the screen on the sliding glass door apparently wasn't with the door when they installed it. They installed the door on Monday, but on Tuesday when they came back they apparently didn't bother to bring it with them when they were finishing up. So, now I have to be inconvenienced by a service call. I am still working on scheduling that, phone tag, but I can assure you I am not taking time off work for them to do it! 8). When the man in charge walked me around my house to show me how a few of the windows worked, he didn't bother to take off his shoes or wear show covers, even though I had taken mine off. Clearly there was no respect for my floors and carpets and I assume that was how it was for the whole job but I wasn't there to watch them. My boys were there during the install. Overall, was the aggravation worth the money I saved by not using someone else? I don't think so. read more

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!! I ordered a replacement door knob for a storm door from them. I live and work in Whitehall and my work hours are the same as their business hours. They insist that I must appear personally and pick up said doorknob, which requires a trip from one side of town to the other, through heavy traffic and construction, plus whatever time I waste at their front desk while they try to find my item when I arrive. It will cost me 2-3 hours of paid time from my job to do this, in addition to what I paid for the door knob. I offered to send prepaid shipping materials. I was told they couldn't drop a door knob into a box and tape it shut because they have a small mailbox and this box might not fit. REALLY???? Lowe's, Home Depot, Menard's, Amazon and a host of online suppliers seem to be able to put door knobs in boxes and ship them all the time. The knob I have to replace has no markings on it to indicate who the manufacturer is, and it is an unusual fixture, so I was forced to get a replacement from Rosati, but between the cost of the replacement knob and the cost of my unpaid time off work to retrieve this item, I could literally have purchased an entire new door with knob and had it installed CHEAPER. Thumbs down on this company and its alleged customer service! read more

I had an egress window installed by Rosati. The contract stated that they would pull all permits through Hilliard and schedule the final inspection. The job was completed October 2012 and in May 2013 I went to pull my patio permit and was told that Rosati never pulled a permit for my egress window. Multiple calls from May-November 14, 2013 and still no resolution. I have worked with Scott Ryan (subsequently no longer with Rosati), Rob Abner, and John Piconni. I love their product but their "word" is worthless. Hilliard will fine me for not pulling the permit, though Rosati is responsible in the contract. They will want an inspection, which means pulling down drywall in my finished basement, where I thought this project was long over. Not sure if they will make me excavate the exterior that was backfilled. Never NEVER NEVER again. I thought for the higher price for their name over the random Craigslist people would result in a smooth experience. Not so. read more
