I really like "My New Supermarket", this store is just down from our house and customer service is outstanding. Love the layout of the store and the fresh vegetables and fruit. We utilize the deli often and have them slice meat and cheese for us. I would suggest staying away from the bakery...minut isn't bad it is GOOD and can cause weight gain. I'm glad this store is here for us, and kudos to the employees for greeting everyone with a smiling face and willingness to help. read more

Rosauers 's always carried this product and then they all of a sudden stopped carrying it. I put in several requests and put my phone number in and I've never been contacted. I've asked the courtesy desk multiple times they know me by name now I've given up and the only thing I can do is give them a bad review. Maybe they'll look at this and realize customers are asking for product and they're not carrying it any longer. I guess they want me to shop at Safeway. read more

Whenever I shop at Rosauer's supermarket I enjoy the visit. It's clean, well stocked and the staff are really friendly. It's never crowded because it's so big and the grocery offers everything anybody would want, even a post office. The only deficit I found was that the fruits and vegetables were not the best and looked wilted and old. The Christmas flowers, decorations, plants and candy selections are awesome!!!! And the bakery cookies delicious. I love their health foods too!!! read more

I ordered an ocean themed cake for my daughter's birthday. It was beautiful and we loved the details! Even little candy rocks on the side. It was so well done, tasted amazing and was a big hit at the birthday. Best grocery store bakery, and will always get my cakes from them. read more

Always thought they had the best doughnuts in Spokane. They seem to always put out freshly made doughnuts. Their maple doughnut would always be gone first. Just bought some today from their bakery and don't understand how they can miss on something like this. They just covered it up with maple. GROSS!!!! read more

The service at Rosauers is second to none. My favorite departments include the bakery, deli, meat dept, and the produce Dept.

I usually love this store but not today! Just came from the doctor so needed to get in and out because I'm not feeling well. I got to the quick lane and there is a lady purchasing $90.00 worth of groceries and talking away to her little gal friend behind the counter. I told her I thought this lane was the fast lane and she blew me off! very, very disappointed! please go back to decent customer service! read more

We love shopping at this location even though they are usually higher priced than the other supermarkets here in town, but sometimes it's not about how much or little you save but the reason why you shop here in the first place. I love the Shadle/5 mile area and the people who reside and work here!! This store in my opinion has one of the best bakery sections in town along with some of the most helpful and friendliest employees too!! Before heading off to work, we love to stop by here every Friday to purchase donuts for the office which is always made fresh every morning!! Absolutely the worst experience going to have coffee and breakfast. Besides the fact that the bathroom was disgusting and lacked toilet paper in both stalls I grabbed sanitizing wipes to wipe the toilet before use. Thinking this might be a "bad" employee cleaning day we returned some days later. A female employee (in the bathroom) didn't wash her hands and guess where I saw her afterwards-- the deli. Really? More fun was I grabbed wipes to wipe our table since my husband had already grabbed coffee and was sitting at a table I obviously can't trust if they can't even clean their bathrooms. I recently had the privilege to meet some of the managers and work alongside some of the staff, and I have nothing but great things to express towards the store. The family atmosphere was felt, the care, the details, the support and value. I found the management really strives to help, give opportunity, and care for not only the customers, but the employees as well. This Rosauer's is such a great store. The employees are kind, helpful, and they work so hard to keep their store clean and filled with items that people need. They also carry unique food items that many other grocery stores, including larger chains, do not carry. If you ask them to start caring a product for you, they will do their utmost to get it into their store. The only complaint that I have ever had about this store has been a recent one. It is this. Many of the workers at the deli are younger with less experience persons, teens and 20 somethings. I'm not ageist so that's not my complaint. My concern is that some of them have not been taught, or perhaps they've forgotten, or they're busily helping others, so they neglect to change gloves or ask if they should change them, for a shopper who has food allergies. As the parent of a child with fish allergies, not just shellfish but all fish, I'm very careful about those salads in the deli. I make sure not to order anything that is sitting near any salads that have fish. I even ask if they could point out which ones have fish, every time I shop, because it changes sometimes. So, imagine my concern when after telling the deli employees (happened several times) that there is a food allergy in my family, and could they change gloves, that I am told not to worry and that they are extra careful. Being careful is unfortunately not enough. Changing gloves, washing hands, and putting new gloves on is important for persons who have food allergies. So I felt the need to express this here in hopes that management will retrain their Deli employees in the area of food allergens, and working with customers who have them. Customers like myself enjoy many of the deli food items, we just don't want cross contamination from other items in different parts of the deli counter. For that reason, I give Rosauers 4 stars, instead of 5, but I want management to know that I love their store. It's my favorite. I might occasionally run into another store, quickly, to pick up an item I need, but for primary grocery shopping, it's always Rosauers. They have the freshest meat, and carry local fruit and vegetables. That's important to me. Supporting local growers, whether in Easter WA, or all of WA, or the PAC NW, is a priority for me. Please continue to buy local, Rosauers. It's the reason many shoppers keep coming to you. You are awesome! Shopping with you for 20 years and counting. Oh, I will ask for one more thing, Rosauers. Could you please restock and also carry, more incontinence items. I shop there for myself but also sometimes I need to pick up an item for my elderly parent, and have noticed that you're quite limited in the incontinence department. These are things that are important to your elderly shoppers, my parents being two of them. Thanks so much. I knew I'd only have to ask, and you'd get right on that. Oh, and once I see here that you're retraining your deli staff on allergens and changing gloves etc., I will gladly change my 4 to a 5. Just let me know. read more

I shop here regularly...it's probably one of the closest grocery stores to the Garland Disctrict. I love their staff. They always help me out with their groceries and the entire store is clean and laid out well. I really appreciate that they try to stock locally sourced products...like milk from Spokane Family Farms (my favorite!) and honey from Greenbluff. It makes supporting local farmers and products that much easier. read more

It's a chain supermarket - it's fine. Nothing terribly special to write home about. They have a pretty good meat department. The butcher is quite good, but the selection that is left for the shopper to pick up him/herself is not all that amazing. I have not visited the produce department in years, so I can't speak well to that. The shelves are stocked reasonably well - I was excited to find my brand of toothpaste (Mentadent) which is harder than heck to find these days. The biggest complaint I have is that this place is convenient to get to, and harder than heck to leave. It's on the corner of Ash and Francis, and when those streets get busy, it can be really difficult to get out of the parking lot. This problem only gets worse in the winter and snow. read more

When we moved here from Olympia, I have to admit that I was a little bummed that Rosauers was the closest store to our house. I guess I was hoping for a Safeway or Fred Meyer. Anyway, I couldn't be more pleased with Rosauers. To say the customer service is great would be an understatement. I love that employ high school/college aged kids to help me out to my car and take back my cart. Everyone there is extraordinarily helpful and friendly. And I don't really find the prices to be higher than other stores. Plus it's literally three minutes away from my house, so anything extra I'm paying is making up for the gas and time I'd spend going elsewhere. Huge selection of wine, beer and liquors. Prices are a bit high and the selection of foodstuffs seems average. Store feels a bit ragged around the edges but not in a bad way, just sorta "down to earth" let's say. Service is friendly and bright. read more

Everyone at Rosauers is always so friendly. The store is very nice, exceptionally clean, they always have great selection and great quality. They run special sales. For shopping the store is fine but if your looking to get hired there might want to think it over before trying. My girlfriend who was working where was always peppy and kind to the people around her and the people she worked with. I came and hanged in the deli and kept to my self as for the time I was visiting her. That day she got fired for "not being good with customers". she was still in her 90 probation and was fired right after her shift. A week ago they say she employee of the month material and she fires her on the spot. I'm not buying it. She even asked multiple times and confirmed multiple times with them if it was ok. I might be bias because I worked at a rosauers for my first job (which I hated) but years later I still love shopping here. You do pay a little more but the service is always great, shelves are fully stocked, and the place is always clean. I really like that they walk you out to your car its EXTREMELY helpful since I have a small child. Plus I can appreciate an establishment that has a checkout line with no candy and toys so the kids arent begging as you're trying to get out of there. They also have a very wide variety of liquor, the rosauers at the Y has a huge wine isle and the sales are usually pretty great. Love the 7 for $7 deals. read more

Great store, people who are very helpful & so nice. The store is very clean. It is the only place that I rather get my meat there.
