Went to the bowl to see DCI . The. Bands were amazing. The. Rose bowl was ok. Be warned if you're taller than 5"5 you wont fit well in the seats. Very narrow leg room. Im 6"1 and i had no place to put my legs. Really bad, by the end of the program i was getting leg cramps. Line to get in was real long, only one entrance to get in was open. Why??? But they had some good food and drink stands. The prices weren't too crazy. The Parking was OK not too expensive so that was a plus getting in and out wasn't too bad. Typical for a big arena. I would go here again. I'll just maybe pick a different seat where I could stretch out my legs maybe an end seat.
It's been years since I last attended a UCLA football game. I don't have much recollection to even compare the experiences. We parked among the tailgate partiers and it was a short walk to the entrance. Along the way, we saw and heard DJ playing right outside the entrance, co-eds hanging out. We had a good view of the game. The food venues were disappointing. My burger was served cold. It will be interesting to see where UCLA games ends up.
My grandson really wanted to see Oasis. Now, they don't tour often so I was stuck getting the only show in town, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. I knew it would sell out and I knew the seats would not be very good, but for what I paid they should have been much better. The prices were outrageous. Many venues have upped their food game, but not here. It was the same junk you might find at a circus. It was very pricey and none of it was good. We were very disappointed. Parking is a bear and if you are disabled, well that is too bad. They have very few spots. You have to get there at least 3 hours early just to get in, get food and get merch. They don't have enough places to get merch so be ready to wait in line an hour just to do that. Then there is the fun of finding your seats with staff who have no idea where you are to go and just point. It took us 20 minutes to find our super expensive seats which were really bad. We had a fight break out in front of us and no security was to be found. We had to make them stop ourselves. The place is old, not kept up and it is sad. It used to be nice. I will go back if forced by my grandson because what he says goes and he has plans. I would be happy to never see the place again. The sound is terrible, you can't see and it is too loud. It is just bad.
WENT TO THE OASIS CONCERT SEPTEMBER 7, 2025 ================================ My son came to town and invited me to a concert for one his favorite bands. That in itself was priceless and a bucket list thing for me. The venue needs some serious organization help and hopefully that will happen for the Olympics. An hour and a half to buy t-shirts and 45 minutes to use restroom was beyond bad. Lines snaked all over the place. People tried cutting in line multiple times. Luckily my son put some guys in their place who tried to cut in front of us in the t-shirt line. Tips: 1. Buy merchandise at the Pop Up Store. This would have been better for me. 2. Run to the restroom way before the opening bands finish. Cage the Elephant was good and we got stuck in the slowest crowd to get out of the stands. 3. Get someone to drop you off near the southwest entrance. Get a pick up at Jack in Box on Arroyo. It's an exhausting walk, but you'll be faster than the vehicles.
Came out for a UCLA football game. Haven't been here in a while. Still an older stadium so the facilities may be a bit dated. It does bring back lots of memories when I was attending UCLA. Parking is still on the golf course and we still have option to tank the shuttle from Parsons if you do not want to hike out onto the golf course.
Used to go for UCLA football games when I was in college. I went to see Oasis on 9/6. The venue is a dump and super disorganized. Dirty dated bathrooms. Some tunnels have bad sewage odor. Bad and lax security. I bought a single pretzel it was hard old and overpriced. The show was over at 10:45 and I had to wait over an hour for the shuttle back to the Parsons lot. Traffic flow was not regulated. By the time I got to my car it was 1am.
Premium Seating, inside the Terry Donahue Pavillion has gone downhill, I've had better food at a church potluck. It was way better when Wolfgang Puck was overseeing the event. You're spend nearly $400 per seat with parking and the meat-carving table gives you a bite of food. What the...? The last evening UCLA game the Chef at the carving table was handing each person one single pork rib. I asked, "Is this the one rib serving...his reply...would you like 2 ribs?" When you spend this kind of $$$, a half rack of ribs should be the expectation...don't you think. The Pavilion needs help. Patrons are spending big bucks to enjoy time with their family and friends. Yet, are treated with average food quality. Poor leadership from the RBOC. Three games left on the calendar...let's see if things get better. I'll leave another review at the end of the football season.
My family and I recently attended the Southwestern Law School graduation for my niece which was held at the Rose Bowl. Upon entering the Rose Bowl grounds, you can truly feel the history of this storied stadium. The stadium is well kept, clean and as comfortable seats as you can possibly with hard plastic. Everything is clearly marked and the view to the field from every single seat in the huge stadium is spectacular.
I have been fortunate enough to see a couple of games here. This stadium is massive in size. The Rose Bowl Stadium was built over a hundred years ago and is one of the largest stadiums in the world. It holds around 90,000 people, but has held more than 100,000 in some of the bigger games. I love how it is nestled within a valley. When driving on the 134, you can get a glimpse of the front of the stadium with the Rose Bowl logo as you pass by. The Rose Bowl game is one of the premiere bowl games played on New Years Day. It is the oldest operating bowl game in college football. The Rose Bowl has hosted many college championship games and a number of Super Bowls. I remember when my parents went to the Rose Bowl game in the 80's when Arizona State beat Michigan. I have been to a few ASU games myself in the past when they visited here back in the Pac-12 days. We walked around the whole stadium one time and were in awe of its size. There was a lot of room for tailgating just outside of the stadium. It is a fun atmosphere and a fun experience to see a game here.
I agree with Yelpers Halli, Marcos and others. Rose Bowl sucks for events, unless you can walk there or take the shuttle. DO NOT bring a bag larger than a small purse, any size water bottle, or even a selfie stick ("could be used as a weapon" -- seriously??) We made two mistakes coming to the Fifa Club World Cup game on 6-15: (1) Uber instead of shuttle, got dropped off a mile away; (2) brought a bag of personal items, had to wait 45 minutes in bag check line ($10 per bag). It was already half-time when we finally checked our bag. By that time we were so disgusted by the whole experience we decided to leave... then it's another long trek to the shuttle stop (all the way across to other side of the parking lot), and a 20 minut wait for the shuttle that dropped us off on the edge of Old Town. We could only imagine the bag check lines and shuttle lines post-game. Oh the horror.
Haven't been here for actual stadium events, but only for outside running events 2 times, in the past year. The actual property is great for exercise, and it looks like tons of locals utilize the road circling the stadium for a walking and running-friendy (and biking) course. Parking overall has been decent and organized the times I've been here too.

The Rose Bowl Stadium! Such a cool stadium. It's pretty big in size. I love some of the architecture throughout the structure. I did get stopped by security guard because I was trying to bring in my umbrella. I was told that umbrellas are not allowed. I explained that I needed the umbrella for a sun allergy and I was walked over to a manager. I showed the manager my medical record showing that I do have a sun allergy and he allowed me to bring it into the stadium. Thank you. I appreciate that because I would die without my umbrella lol I'm not trying to breakout in hives and rashes just to go to the Rose Bowl lol read more

The Rose Bowl is probably one of the worst venues I've ever been to for a concert. The concert itself was amazing. I bought my ticket last minute and went alone because the artists were Coldplay and H.E.R., and I had been dying to see them live. Plus, tbh there is something fun about being able to say, "Yeah, I've been to the Rose Bowl." That said, I really hope any artist I love never forces me into this venue again. The food options were not interesting, the venue felt filthy, and I wanted to avoid the restrooms as much as possible. People were smoking near me during the concert, and one guy drank so much that he ended up vomiting all over the bleachers behind me. Security had to escort him out, and even that became chaotic because his friends nearly picked a fight with them. Now, Coldplay was absolutely incredible!! They know how to put on a show, and once they hit the stage, I genuinely forgot how miserable the venue experience had been. Unfortunately, I ended up missing the one song I was most looking forward to (Fix You) because toward the end of the concert, some smarter concertgoers started leaving early to avoid traffic. Since I had a long drive home, I decided to leave during the last few songs too. And even then? I still got stuck in traffic for a while! Getting out of the Rose Bowl was an absolute nightmare. Would I come back here again? Honestly, I hope not. The artist would have to be extremely worth it for me to willingly set foot in this venue again. My advice: go at your own risk, get there as early as possible for better parking, bring food and water so you can eat before going in, wear comfortable shoes, and go with people you actually like enough to suffer with. Coldplay was amazing. The venue experience was not. read more
I didn't see this on my bingo card EVER. IU vs BAMA at the Iconic ROSE BOWL and witness the most historic win ever for IU beating the most reputable BAMA! WOW! I love this stadium! It was just so cool to be here and experience it. Never have I thought I get to come here in my lifetime to see one of the most historic games ever. It's absolutely stunning and memory I'll keep forever. I always wanted to come here and didn't expect any of it especially for a team my husband and I care about! Lots of food options here and views were great! A bit tight due to bleacher seats but everyone is friendly!! But we were in the crowd with all the mid-westerners. lol it's a given! The best part was crushing BAMA!!!! Parking needs improvement! We almost miss this because how disorganized it is. You definitely need to come at crack of dawn! I think most people were here already morning of or day before because of the parade. And I wouldn't wear nice clothes or shoes when it's raining. This def is a place in our books and a memory that will last forever read more

I'm eating a 5 star because it was so organized here. The staff was good at directing. My boyfriend and I saw Oasis here and there was so many people but the staff had everything under control. I love how there is a restroom nearby the stage. The security team is pretty amazing. read more

My grandson really wanted to see Oasis. Now, they don't tour often so I was stuck getting the only show in town, at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena. I knew it would sell out and I knew the seats would not be very good, but for what I paid they should have been much better. The prices were outrageous. I've visited this venue twice and had excellent experiences at both events. Pokémon Go Unova LA Tour (Feb 2025): Event Details: A three-day event from 9a.m. to 5p.m.; I attended Day 2. Parking: On-site parking costs $35 ($30 if pre-paid). I arrived around 1p.m. and had no trouble finding a spot. The entrance was conveniently close, and the staff were friendly, making me feel safe. Venue: The space was well-suited for the event, easy to navigate, and had acceptable bathrooms--not the cleanest but not the worst either. Food: Food inside was overpriced, so it's best to eat before attending or bring snacks. There were also food carts outside by the entrance for additional options. Head in the Clouds Music Festival (Aug 2022): Event Details: An all-day festival. I carpooled, so parking wasn't an issue. VIP Experience: With VIP tickets, I enjoyed complimentary food in the suite and exclusive access to notably clean bathrooms. Although I didn't purchase food from vendors, there was a wide range of options available. Overall: The performances by the artists created a truly unforgettable experience. Both visits left me with positive memories, and I would gladly attend future events at this venue. :) (21/100) read more
4+ The iconic Rose Bowl...the homefield of the UCLA Bruins. I've been here a handful of times for college football games (obviously most of them were UCLA games) and once for a Rose Bowl game during the college 'post season'. Never for a concert or any other event though (over the years, I've seen that they hold food events here from time to time). You can tell there is age on this venue, albeit with various renovations done over the years. For the most part, the egress/ingress works pretty well. Also, if you are familiar with the area and don't mind a walk, you can find cheap or free parking with an added bonus of some exercise, haha. A few of my good friends went to UCLA so the majority of times I was here was going with them for games or just to tailgate. I will say the tailgating/ onsite parking situation is pretty well organized. I also had the 'pleasure' of going to one of the hottest games in history here a couple of years back.... there's really no covers when you're sitting out in the seats, so we were all suffering from the high temps. Needless to say, we didn't stay for the entire game lest some folks in our group pass out from heat exhaustion. Overall, solid place to watch games and pleasant experience. read more
Charm wears off when concession vendors are lazy and unprepared. Every vendor could earn $100k+ more if they just PREPARED for a crowd. At Ohio State vs. Oregon game JAN 2025 all lines were 1+hours slow and 60+ feet. I could run any of these businesses better and make $100k+ more than every single lazy vendor. Rose Bowl: This makes the experience kinda suck. Vendors, if you can't handle a crowd (aka your customers) give up your space to someone who isn't lazy and stoooopid. Oh and trash cans were overflowing by halftime. Lazy is contagious. read more

I came here for AC/DC and let me tell you the pros and cons of seeing a show at the Rose Bowl Pros: if you pay for parking, it's super easy to get into and out of, though you do have to walk a bit of a ways if you come closer to event time. There are bathrooms like every 30 feet so despite the amount of people there, never lines, even in women's bathrooms. Cons: seating is tight, you're basically on top of the people on either side of you because of how tight the concert seats are. Their security and enforcement needs to be better. People were vaping all around me and the guy right next to me was smoking a joint and blowing it in my face which certainly must be against Rose Bowl policy. Not my favorite concert venue for sure read more

A couple of years ago I decided to run the Rose Bowl Half Marathon. I remember waking up around 3am to avoid traffic and perhaps the traffic in my head from the jitters. Temperature was a bit nippy as you'd expect at that hour, but the anticipation kept me wide awake. The 13.1-miler took us throughout all around Pasadena with people cheering us in unique ways, like a guy in a banana suit playing the sax. Seeing the stadium again at the final leg of the race was an unforgettable mix of relief and exhaustion with someone waiting at the finish line the icing on the cake. It goes without saying that I have fond memories of that day. Fast forward two years, I returned to this same venue to something slightly slower paced: Pokémon Go Unova LA Tour. I drove over from Long Beach, and by that time about two hours of the event had passed, and the parking options were limited to Lot I over at the aquatic center which was free. On this sunny Sunday, our group walked among the thousands of Go players within Brookside golf course next to the stadium while the soundtrack from game played on loop. In between, there were decorative exhibits, trades, and photo-ops. Small trinkets like a collectible pin and keychain were given out for answering quiz questions. Folks young and old wearing snazzy prints and carrying along their plushies. Apart from these events, the area seems like a great place to go for a jog. Looking forward to coming back for years to come. read more
We came for a concert. Doors opened at 4pm, show started at 7:30. We got in line to get in around 6:30. The line was long, but it was moving. People were selling water and drinks and LA hotdogs in line. Staff kept concert goers on track and were cool-- our group didn't have any encounter with them. As soon as we passed security check, one kind staff member asked us if we knew where our seats were. The people at the drinks spot were also chill. When you pass the gate and enter the bowl, there are many more food vendors, so not too many lines. Bathroom lines for the ladies is always 2-3x longer than the men's. There's staff at the door in case you need something. Parking: we reserved a spot outside of the venue and walked about 20 minutes and got to see the long lines of people who purchased parking in the bowl-- not worth it, as walking can get you there faster. The walk for the most part is plain; going up the hill can be a little workout if you're not used to, so make sure you're not in heels then ;). As soon as you get near the venue, you'll see friendly parking staff all around the streets of Pasadena directing the crowd and cars. We felt safe walking to and from and didn't have to wait to get the shuttle to/from the venue. I recommend get a Spot Hero and walk to the venue. Our seats were a bit tights but nothing bad..good enough to have a spot to sit and also space to dance. Wait till you hear the sound of your favorite band playing here with all the lasers... it's perfect and safe!! Uber: my friend showed up late and they let her Uber drop her off, np. Not sure what their ride share policy is with the shuttle and all, but they send you an email prior so that you're aware and can plan wisely. read more

I haven't been here a while, but I came to the Cruel World Roseville festival. It's really big and a lot of areas to park. They're very organized as well with their line assistance. There is some bumpy grass area so you have to be careful when you walk at night but other than that, it's pretty smooth. They have a beautiful pond in the middle that is so so soothing to be by. They had so much good food at this festival from lobster rolls, pizza, fries, ice cream, and more! read more
DO NOT COME TO ANY EVENT HERE. my second soccer game here and it took forever to get in with the lines at the entrance. Had to walk a mile where our uber driver dropped us off because the traffic was so bad. So crowded inside and not organized. Never coming back to this venue again. read more
It's been a long time since I rock and rolled It's been a long time since I did the stroll... This time we strolled in with the kids for their first UCLA football game. Took the diaper bag into the game without any issues (diaper bag is ok when you have a baby with you) be sure to check the bag policy prior to visiting any stadium as they are all different. The Rose bowl could you a face lift. It's hosted some amazing sporting events, which I've had the pleasure of experiencing. But the bathrooms are a bit worn out. Seating was a bit tight with a toddler, heck even without one it's a squeeze and I'm a lean guy. Some of the food had me like wow, such as a bucket of cookies (pass the milk). Parking around the stadium is available, mostly golf course parking, FORE! Wear comfy shoes as there's a lot of walking unless you get parking near the front as most tailgaiters will. The California Hall of Fame was nice to see some of the past athletes game accomplishments. read more

Stopped by on Saturday, 11/23/24 for the UCLA vs. USC rivalry football game which started around 7:30pm. Went with 2 of my friends and carpooled - unfortunately the price of parking has increased dramatically ($59 per car). Overall, I had a great time tailgating. We also got some free swag from Fabletics and created a TikTok with them (surprised we were selected, hope it turned out okay). Food and drinks inside are pricey per usual. Purchased a hot dog from one of the vendors outside of the venue after ($11 for a hot dog - yikes). Overall, I had a great time, especially rooting for my alma mater and being a part of the Rose Bowl stadium history. read more
Visited stadium for 1st CFP game Oregon v Ohio State. I expected a lot from the bowl game described as the granddaddy of them all. Needless to say I left disappointed. Considering how many people come to Pasadena for the parade and game, I expected the city to have great signage and instructions. We had to dig through multiple websites to figure out shuttles, parking, and other options. Since we couldn't find the shuttle spot, we took an Uber to the stadium. Even the Uber driver didn't know the proper place to enter to drop us off. We arrived at the stadium for the pregame Oregon tailgate. The vendor CSC was lax security and disorganized from the beginning. They didn't know what the hours of fan fest were and who could enter at what time. When we finally made inside the actual stadium area, there was no security. People were bringing in bags and coolers that could have contained anything. Only person near the gate was a vendor selling programs. There were no stadium workers to help with directions if needed. We made it to the section and were prohibited from entering so we missed the flyover and pregame show. Apparently they stop entry when the tunnel is full. Well it's always full. Most of the CSC people were standing around and not ensuring people sat in the wrong seats. So of course we had to boot people out of our seats when we got there. To sum it up concession lines were outrageously long, bathrooms were dirty and ran out of soap and paper towels, and there was no way you can enter and exit safely in an emergency. No wifi and poor cell service due to the capacity. The worst part was trying to leave and take the shuttle back to Pasadena. There were no security making people line up, not gates to contain the capacity and keep lines organized so people would line jump. Of course all the CSC worker were standing around eating snacks and drinking water when then should have been doing crowd control. After an hour we made the shuttle. It was a scary ride since the driver went against traffic in some places. She didn't seem to know the route to take or which was traffic flowed. I think that's why she left the lights on during the ride so we couldn't see out the windows. Overall, stadium was beautiful and I'm glad we were able to visit and remove it from our list a places to experience. As long as you keep your expectations low, you'll be fine. Only two screens, one large and a small one opposite suites. No a stats shown during the game. read more
This place is a dump. The bathrooms are old, dirty, and loaded with maintenance issues. The seats (Section 2) are some of the tightest fitting seats I have ever sat in. Parking on the golf course at night is ridiculous. The prices for cheap beer and popcorn are way too high! The stadium seats are almost half taken up by pointless banners. They should open those seats and spread the others. Make it a 50k stadium. The Bruins can't fill it up, anyhow. read more

*NOT talking about parking!* Absolute SHIT SHOW getting into the Rose Bowl game today. Completely unorganized chaos. The lines for the entrance were going nowhere for an HOUR. They ended up just letting us flood in with no security or ticket check. We arrived at the stadium over an hour before kickoff and got inside at the end of the first quarter. Never in my 60 years of life at ANY stadium have I seen such incompetence. read more
This review is for the Rose bowl football game. Was super excited to attend this nostalgic bowl game. Seeing it on TV every year on Jan 1 was the highlight of New Year's Day. We got our parking spot online and took the free shuttle they offered. We waited in line for 30 minutes but probably could have just walked in the same time. Entering was easy and not crowded. They weren't very strict with security. Pretty much could bring whatever you wanted in the clear bags. The stadium is old and the bathrooms are really old and needed renovations. Water was leaking from a few of the toilets. The concession stands were oblivious of food ingredients. There was no place online with food allergy information. We were in the lower bowl and we were able to find our seats ok. The seats didn't have cup holders and were tiny. The man sitting beside me was manspreading into my space. The way the rows were designed you basically can't get out of your seat once you are seated. They didn't have WiFi and my cellular service was less than 1 bar. I was able to see the game well from my seats. The sunset was really beautiful and the parade before the game was spectacular! read more

I love Rose Bowl I go at least once or twice a week to run around and also participate in any walk or run event they had throughout the year. You will encounter other runners and walkers super friendly. There are bathrooms, always clean.. Recommended it. read more

What parking lot has a shuttle to the Rose Bowl?
Unfortunately, I don't know of any parking lot that offers a shuttle to the Rose Bowl. There was parking just off site, cost was $44.00, but you do need to walk a bit.

I only know what I saw at the BTS concert and people were in a separate line but overall line management and courtesy were very bad at this venue.

Are they really strict with their clear bag policy? I have this bag it's clear but In the bottom it's black but the rest is clear. Would I be able to go in with that bag inside the stadium? This is my first time going to Rose Bowl for BTS concert!
Regarding the policy on clear bags, I don't think that you'll experience any delays or setbacks by having a predominately clear bag. Just make sure that you are transparent with respect to the bag's contents.
Has anyone sat club level for concert? what amenities do they have, same as for a college game?

She could stand on the bench, not sure if she would be able to see as there are a lot of variables to that question. The bathrooms are on the ground level, where you enter the stadium itself.

Use the Parsons Parking lot shuttle, it'll get you in & out way faster than if you had parked onsite.

No bathrooms close you'll need to walk up and down- at you'll get your exercise
Do the concession stands accept cards?
In my experience, most if not all of them accept debit & credit cards now
Do they follow the clutch size specification strictly? My clutch is a tad bigger than the 4.5 x 6.5 size specification?
Bring your bag .. but put everything u have in it, into a plastic bag. When you enter securit show your bag and pull out the plastic bag. Security will appreciate. It having to go thru your bag cause they will see everything in the plastic

Yes they are! Even if you sit in the end zone.. but know that they are all bench seating so you are usually shoulder to shoulder with someone... Enjoy rose bowl rules!!

Far, far, far away! LOL the farthest away and higher you go, the cheaper the seat.....Depends on the act ....and the stage setup and/or the team.
How much is regular parking for a concert / VIP parking?
It can vary from 20$ to 40$ it just depends on what the concert venue is charging but I'd put it in the $30 range! Good luck and ha e fun.
