One of the worst experiences I've ever had with a flower shop. Ordered my son a boutonnière and corsage for his Home Coming dance, two weeks ago. Called today to confirm my pick up for tomorrow. They had my pick up date the following week, and had the colors all wrong. I have no idea how something like this could get so mixed up. I wasn't impressed in the least bit. I went in Friday for a simple flower. I had this grand plan in mind to surprise my oldest daughter with a flower representing the gender of the baby we're about to have. (She was in school during the ultra sound) I went in and it took them forever to help me. In normal circumstances I would've walked out, however this is the only florist in this area. When I finally got some help I asked for a pink flower, nothing fancy. My mistake was letting his rudeness throw me off. I wanted a daisy or something simple, carnation came out of my mouth. Before I could correct myself he grabbed some sad looking flower and mumbled some words to me. Wanting to get the hells out of there I went with it. $4 and a sad flower later I was on my way. The people in there were more concerned with the flower order coming in and other events than the customers. The worst part about all of this? There was one girl working diligently on a flower spread. While I didn't expect the red carpet treatment for one flower, I did expect more than sighs and them ripping the bottoms of the flower off instead of cutting it. I mean in this economy isn't any business good business? Definitely crossing them off my list of florists to order from in the future, as did my husband. read more

In needing 18 white table linens and 170 linen napkins, I rushed to "Rose Garden Florist" for a look at what I hoped would help me out at my wedding in 48 hours. I took a look at one long linen cloth they had on a demo table in the flower shop-it was great! White formal linens! What a relief! They had all the cloths I needed for my round tables. We picked them up the next morning because they didn't have all the one I needed right then. But they did us a great service by having formal linens, and the dinner napkins! Very friendly people also, which made it pleasant. The linens ended up being very lovely at my wedding, and we returned them the following Monday. They were a formal white, making the dinner tables in the reception room light up with a great appearance! The round tables were fine with the linen's length , but the head table lacked full cloth length on both sides. So my decorator and team of friends, pulled the cloth to cover the entire length of the front of the table so the cloth could touch the ground. On the other side it was no problem. Without any cloth on the back side of the table, it really ended up helping the bridal party easily get to and fro from the table without their dresses tangling with the tablecloth. However, I had wanted full length cloth on both sides, but it turned out just fine. They were sort of on the thin side but they did work. The cost was better than others I had researched; 18 Round tablecloths for $12.00 each, and 5 Long Head Table tablecloths for $12.00 each. Total, $276. We saved about $250 in comparison with another company. What a save this florist was with price, friendliness, and availability. They saved a huge aesthetic part of the decor. It would have really sucked without tablecloths, I would have felt like I was at a BBQ. read more

Ladies and Gentleman my review is exact and accurate. Stewart's mother called me and he messaged me directly numerous times harassing me to change or delete my review. His attempting to use a flower shop as a rest stop comment proves his direct misrepresentation of how well managed his flower shop really is. I was nice enough to give him a few pointers on how to ensure this does not happen again but instead he is choosing to come here with blatant lies about a customer (me); his mother had my business in the bag but chose to lie to my face. I called his mother two times on the phone letting her know I was driving in to purchase a lot of beautiful flowers so I can assure you I could have easily found a bathroom within the 50 miles out I was when I made the initial call. I checked in so everyone would know my review was not a lie. Two discrepancies are that Stewart told me the bathroom was not broken and out or order and his mother told me the bathroom was not for customers. It's obvious she just didn't want me using her bathroom. Stewart is a liar and a scam artist. He offered me free flowers if I came back but I chose not too. Another florist made well over $300 just for being honest and customer service oriented. I was so impressed with the service that I received initially that I was inclined to return to the flower shop to purchase some flowers for my wife four anniversary. Suzie the owner was so helpful and respectful she took over 30 minutes with me and my kids to help us chose the perfect floral arrangement for my wife. I am not from Modesto but when I do come visit my relatives, I always bring flowers in my hand during each visit. I used different florist each time until I find the one I really like. This place was the most helpful and the flowers lasted a long time. It was their arrangement that my relatives gave the most comments on. The couple in there were super friendly and were patient. I am very shocked that one reviewer said they were terrible and I was hesitant to come here but that is not the experience I had here at all. I don't think what they said describes this floral business at all. I have already ordered 5 flowers in the past 1.5 years and it has been excellent each time. and they were all done in person with courtesy and professionalism. I got some beautiful long stem red roses from my husband from Rose Garden Florist in Modesto. They lasted longer than any roses I've ever received - almost two weeks and not one roses drooped it's head with out opening. A few months later I needed 6 arrangements for Standiford Place where I work for a Chamber Event. I told Sam what I wanted over the phone, I needed them to look expensive but not be expensive. He did an amazing job. They again lasted almost two weeks. I just referred him to one of my residents and more beautiful flowers came in today. They do a great job, prices are in line with other florists and the service has been amazing. I will recommend them to anyone who needs flowers in the future. read more

Ordered flowers online for Christmas Eve delivery.The picture online was beautiful, spray roses, lillys, red and white roses, natural pine cones, holly. What was delivered: gold painted pine cones, 3 red roses and 10 carnations. Terrible terrible terrible. I never would have known if I would not have seen them in person, since the person they were delivered to was too kind to say they looked like garbage! Went in to the store to complain and was told if they did what the picture looked like they would go out of business, and "anyway, carnations are more expensive than roses" Really? They refunded my money (minus delivery) after I told them I would be denying part of the charge if they did not. Four hours later I got a call saying they wanted the flowers back and would be coming to pick them up. Really? Do not go here or place an order online. They are terrible. read more

I live in Salida as well, and our daughters Wedding was May 19th, 2012 at North Modesto Church of God, with the reception at the new Spring Creek Golf and Country Club in Ripon.( which also is to be commended!) We were highly recommended to see Suzy and Sam at Rose Garden, but also did our own checking of the other locals in the area. We were back to Suzy - as we were very happy with her attention to detail of what we were thinking - but also what would be nice to go with our theme of a Fairytale Wedding. The Church arrangements were beautiful, and she also took care of the runner and the rose petals up the aisle. We felt 'special' each time we went to visit, (and we did alot, which probably was not necessary, we booked her a year in advance!) At the reception at Spring Creek (we were the FIRST wedding in their new gorgeous club, which was only finished a few weeks prior to our wedding.) Our light pink and medium pink roses and starburst mums were exceptional for the 13 tables in tall clear vases, with matching rose petals inside and the arrangements on top. The head table was exquisite and the detail to the 13 tables with extra touches like the draping was incredible, along with the chair covers and sashes that she also had accessibility to. I don't know about you but I am a one stop shopper, if I can have the florist work with the event center and I am not involved, I am all for it. She has special tablecloths if need be, but she suggested, and they were great! Suzy was in my budget and was detailed in everything we asked for. My daughters bouquet was beautiful in the pale pink with diamond accents. The flower girls' bouquets and men's boutonnieres were also gorgeous. Suzy also up-lighted the cake table which made the extra fairytale cake look beautiful in pink and light purple. There was much much more she did for our special day - I wish we could go back and redo the Wedding - just not the stress, and expense lol - that does come along with it - but there was NO stress from them to me - their timeliness and extra touches will last a lifetime...................I hope there is a review page for Spring Creek CC in Ripon, as this is the place to go for the reception! read more
